This is a first class B & B with experienced hosts. Very well located in Skibbereen, with off-road private parking and in walkable distance from town centre, also exceptionally quiet. Spacious, ensuited serviced room. Pretty, well-maintained gardens and we had a fantastic view from our room across to rolling hills and fields. Exceptional breakfast, with a menu that we could choose from, everything freshly prepared to order and presented beautifully. And above all, we felt like our lovely hosts Ann and Seamus had become friends by the end of our stay - they are so welcoming and pleasant and will give you as much interaction and as much space and privacy as you require.

We set out on a BnB tour of Ireland looking for that perfect home-felt place and we finally found it at Glencora. We just absolutely love Annie, and she not only welcomed us as guests, she made us feel at home. We arrived late but she was welcoming and got us settled in. After a few days of uncomfortable beds, the bed at Glencora was a great surprise and we got the best night's sleep. Breakfast was the fabulous! And we got that chance to chat with our host and we appreciated that personal touch. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Even though we used the coordinates from booking.com, our GPS did not get us right to the BnB. It got us close, and thankfully not too far away, but we were almost about to turn around when we found it.

We loved staying in this beautiful guesthouse. Our room was spacious and very well presented with a lovely bathroom. Glencora is so conveniently located. The breakfast was fantastic and came with a very nice printed menu and everything was very professionally done. We arrived back very late after our family wedding and the driveway was very well lit up. Anne and Seamus were just unbelievably kind and helpful. This is the best bed and breakfast that we have ever stayed in.

Everything was perfect.

Everything: close to the town, if you wanted to walk in, taxi numbers available in the room if you didn't. The room was cosy, warm, and clean. The shower was spacious, and the water pressure was great. Breakfast was delightful, and the conversations with Anne and Seamus were entertaining and informative. Received a copy of the recipe for the gorgeous bread we had with breakfast.

The weather was foggy and misty the day we arrived, so on our visit to nearby Baltimore village, we didn't see much. We returned to the B&B via beautiful lough Hyne, which is well worth a visit, but the road is narrow and sharp from Baltimore to lough Hyne. The next morning, the sun was shining, so we went to Mizenhead almost 1 hour in the wrong direction from home. It was worth every second! It's a must visit spot. We should have stayed longer.

Clean and comfortable room in an attractively personalized home. Walking distance to the town center. Ann is an exceptionally welcoming and helpful host, who recommended the wonderful Saturday Farmers Market, great produce and food, with excellent music from local community bands.

Really only a positive experience, but our room, though comfortable, was a little cramped.

Anne and Seamus O'Brien were extremely welcoming. They were so kind and so friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Anne drove us to the bus in the morning for our trip to Baltimore and even offered to drop us to the bus when we were leaving. The bedroom was spotless and so comfy. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Glencora B & B in future to anyone who would like a home from home atmosphere with such lovely people. Marian and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Anne & Seamus were excellent host! They went above and beyond to look after us. Share tips about touring around West Cork and even gave us some plants to plant them on our gardens. Great location, super clean, great breakfast! We would highly recommend this property and specially the owners great people!

Ann was an absolute star of a host, could not have been nicer and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. Beds were super comfortable and little touches like tissues, cotton buds and make up removal pads supplied were absolutely lovely and showed a level of thought and care which was evident throughout. Perfect cleanliness also evident in the house. We felt at home during our brief stay and would be more than happy to return

Shower in room could be modernised

Very central location for Skibbereen. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very good value for money. I stayed one night with two children and the host Ann was charming and gave us directions to places to eat. Ann also makes a super breakfast with her own home baked soda bread abd tomatoes from her green house. She made our stay very enjoyable. My son left a headset behind and Ann rang me several times until she got me and arranged for its return. Cannot recommend this B&B enough ! We will definitely be back !
