Lovely staff, great comfortable room. Buffet breakfast was sensational. Gin Bar is great, best hot chips! Pool was awesome. Great little gym. Lovely restaurant. Priced very well for what you get.

Better offering for Coeliacs. My daughter struggled. Whilst there was a gluten free station and it was definitely appreciated, I think the chefs need to get better at cooking gluten free pastries and sweets. Bread selection was very average, like something from 1990!. Should be getting higher quality breads or ordering in a selection from a gf baker as they clearly have no idea how to make it. No change on cereal offer for GF so if you were a little kid you would have been pretty sad. Its pretty simple and easy to make GF pancakes. The evening restaurant also had minimal offerings for Coeliac kids/teens.

Everything was well maintained and clean and all the staff were super helpful. It was a great stay except I had to use a mobility scooter.

I need to use a mobility scooter and the front ramp was very narrow with sharp turns, the disabled toilet in the lobby had two push doors and then the disabled stall was the first one which was pretty difficult to navigate with a push door in the way. There were no entry points to the main pool undercover with handrails, there were slippery when wet signs always placed in the middle of the walkways. The hot water in the shower alternates between hot and warm, but it didn't matter too much as it was pretty warm outside.I didn't like the accessible room 319's floor was not level in a section, but it was a ramp not stairs. The balcony had a step down too.

The front line team of the hotel was very warm and polite, and the reception staff showed the expected level of hospitality. The room delivery service was efficient and timely when I called for the items I requested. The housekeeping staff we met were polite and conscientious.

The shower gel in the room was empty on the first day of our stay, and it was replaced the next day after we raised it with the housekeeping staff. The next day, however, we ran out of shampoo in the guest room, which was not noticed by the staff until we checked out. I think the hotel was negligent in checking clean rooms before sales them. The lack of zoning for showers and bathtubs is also disappointing, but this is not the fault of the service provider.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! Staff (special thanks to Alexandra) provided us a free bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate upon arrival because we celebrated our honeymoon at Hilton. Room was big enough, included terrace, more towels than guests, free coffee capsules and machine. Breakfast has full of options, for gluten free or vegan diets, also for guest from Asia. Very easy way to call taxi, just a button at the reception and taxi will be there in few minutes. Hotel building is very modern and chilly, I have never been to any place where we could use the swimming pool until 10p.m. Every little detail was made for the guests preference, which I think is the most important. It was a perfect choice for our stay!

I would like to thank all of your staff for such an amazing night at the Hilton on our arrival to cairns from Western Australia. Not only did you accomodate us with an early check in, the room was beautiful and we were greeted with a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary and smiling faces in every area of the hotel. When my partner got a splinter in her foot each of your staff were so helpful with getting us tweezers, directions to a pharmacy and checking back in on her later on. The pool has stunning views and every area of the hotel we looked at was well maintained and cleaned to a high standard. Our first night in cairns had high hopes and your service and beautiful accomodation pleased every exception we had. Thank you so much and we look forward to staying with you again.

Most, was the Air conditioner - hadn’t cooled the room , it felt warm couldn’t sleep . I paid for water front not water side , then I asked to be relocated . Pillows went totally flat when you put your head for to sleep , tried using both at the same time , two was to high . Lastly outdated building requires painting in and out, maintenance or change the cooling system ,stay updated with the interior so you’re above then others considering you have the best location.

The room location was excellent. We had the one facing the river. The view was excellent. Housekeeping made sure the room was cleaned and fresh every day. It is a pleasure returning from the tours we booked to a fresh room. The staff in the Cafe was super helpful and nothing was too much. Food selection and availability of local food products were also good. The location and parking facility made getting in and out of the city easy. Being a central location to Fleet terminal, it made it easy to catch booked tours.

The ONLY downside (if any) to our stay in the hotel room was that it did not seem to have a fan in the shower room.

All staff we met during our stay has shown outstanding customer service, not 1 staff with no smile. They are the most helpful and friendliest bunch, make us feel very welcome . We also get text messages making sure we have all we need during our stay, which I later found out this is a staff member not robot, i think this is very personal and set their customer service standard even higher. The room is nice and clean, comfortable beds and pillows. I also like the 'reduce plastics intitiatives', they have bubbler (which it think this is available on each floor) to fill up the water jug provided in each room. Foods were very delicious, we had the sushi on Thursday night and Fajitas on Friday night. Thank you again Hilton Cairns for your hospitality.

Great location - within easy walking distance of places to eat at the wharf. Lovely, relaxing views over the water from both the airy lounge area and the breakfast restaurant. The choice provided at the breakfast buffet was excellent and the service was very good. The coffee was great, too. Impressed with their “green” approach - cold water available for refilling glass water bottles (provided in the fridge) and the use of large dispensers (Crabtree and Evelyn brand) for hand wash, body wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner.

The hotel was great and so unique with an amazing design on the interior with all the plants. Great quiet pool! I had an excellent view out onto the harbour A short 5 minute walk to the lagoon, shops and night market. Defending a great place to stay if you don’t want to be in the centre of everything

Nothing that would detract from the stay Just a few maintenance things - grout around the bath/shower needed to be redone Glass shower screen slightly too short so water would go all over the floor
