Some staff at Table 36 during breakfast had not been as pleasant as necessary!😏 However there were 2 exceptional staffs: 1) Kento Kawamura - He was very amicable, very courteous, very attentive to our needs; even offered us wet towels, 2nd serving of tea for me, coffee for my husband. Never were offered wet towels during the other days,similar times (9:45am- 9:55 ) there! 2) Sophiia from Ukraine— very sweet smiling face!👏 That’s what Guests like to start their day!! We were denied entry at 10am for breakfast on our first day; the check-in staff did not tell us this info.she only told us breakfast finishes at 10:30am!!😤

Fantastic location if you are flying in to Osaka. The train from the airport stops at Namba station and you can access the Hotel from the train station just before you go down to the subway train station year. This makes it the perfect spot to do many things from Osaka. The rooftop restaurant is fantastic and I absolutely LOVE the breakfast here. The coffee (ordered) is also excellent.

The check in process could have been better. We were a group and it just seemed to take ages. On the other hand the conceirge desk was amazing. They helped us out with our luggage transfer. They were so efficient and made the whole process very easy.

This is the 2nd time I stayed at Swissotel Osaka. I chose it because of it's great location. The Nankai rapid train station and the local subway station are just below the hotel. It is within walking distance from many of the tourists attractions and shopping areas. The buffet breakfast at 36th floor offers variety of choices and super view of the city. The room is clean and tidy. Basic amenities are provided. Air conditioning is good. Staff are nice and helpful.

I understand that the Coivd pandemic in the past 3 years has affected the economy and the hotel. The carpet in the lift lobby of each floor and main lobby look to be new (was changed shortly before my visit this time). However, the carpet in the room looks a bit shabby. Also, the material of the chair in the room is exfoliated and broken. If these can be renewed, a lot more points can be given to Swissôtel.

have already commented on its wonderful location. this stay I was given an older room, so while the size is good, it felt dated.

Excellent location where the subway station is just few floors down - directly connected, ease to move around the city and nearby places! Breakfast was good with nice varieties of fresh fruits and choices for Asian or Western options. The view of the breakfast restaurant is magnificent - top of the building to see Osaka!

Our room was ready at 1pm when we checked in but in order to go to our room, we have to pay about 10,000 Yen to do so, about 20% of our room rate. When asked that we will check out early at 7am, 4 hours ahead of check out time, will they refund to us 40% of room rate - answer was no! The room is already vacant and ready for stay, why charge us? Not that the room can be rented out at hourly rate to get more revenue!

I was not able to stay on these original dates because I needed emergency medical surgery, but I did stay on a later date upon my return to my country for further care and rehabilitation. I want to commend the staff for their understanding and accommodation of my needs, and on my later stay I can say the hotel meets the high standards of hotels in Japan, along with a great location for shopping and access to Japan’s excellent transportation system.

The rooms were truly wheelchair accessible, as they note when booking, but a few minor changes would also help to make it more handicap-friendly so I hope they will consider this.

Staff is excellent. They helped me with arranging transportation, receiving parcels, and arranging check in/check out that can match well with our travel schedule. A team that I can trust, special thanks to the lady in the priority counter (I forgot to check the name plate) who helped us with check-in on the first day and also with handling our enquiries on the second day. The response and arrangements were exceptional. The guidance and answers offered over virtual messaging via booking.com was very helpful too! Excellent location especially we shopped a lot in Takashimaya and is right on top of train stations.

Can hear speaking sound in our neighbouring rooms if they speak slightly louder. In-room lighting can be a bit brighter. Everything else was great.

We've stayed at this hotel before and it was our immediate go-to when booking our most recent trip to Japan. The location is unparalleled, and even though the Nankai-Namba underground complex can be a little bit confusing, once you've traversed it once it's easy to figure out, making the hotel's location the number 1 reason we'll continue to use it.

It was way, way too warm. Even dropping the AC as low as it could go, the room was just constantly warm - especially given how hot it was outside all day. That seems to be typical of Japanese hotels, however, so it isn't a deal-breaker. Just be prepared to bring a travel fan if you sleep hot.

From Namba station, the location could not be any better. For the Rapit airport train it is the best option since it is literally in the same area. The hotel had a pretty good zied gym and it had enough machines, there are convenience stores and shopping streets literally when you step out.

The area (Namba) can be crowded at times, but this is exactly the reason why you will stay in this location. The convenience is there but for people who like the quieter side of Japan or Osaka, this place is not for you.

Breakfast at the cafe was good with different menu. Location very convenient just less than 5 mins to Nankia Train station to Airport and JR/Subway line all below hotel. A lot of Shopping and resturants all just below hotel. Staff friendly, hotel very clean, bed & room is big.

Room service food menu hope to increase with more selection. Bathroom if possible to have some rooms without bath tub, just the shower. Hope to have connecting rooms. The room which I stay think is time to renovate, cause my 3rd time stay in this hotel (Swiss Advantage Room) and have brighter lights in the room.
