Breakfast was great, looked forward to it every morning. The staff was amazing. Room was awesome. Views and amenities were fantastic. I was looking for a relaxing place to stay and this was definitely it.

Any extras (eating at the restaurant, drinks, spa services, mini bar etc) were all very expensive. I feel like that’s probably just Tulum resort prices but it’s still highly inflated. Also, this isn’t a negative necessarily depending on what you’re going to do, but the location was a little removed from everything else; not near Pueblo, not near the hotel strip with all the restaurants. I had to take taxis most everywhere I went and taxis aren’t cheap in Tulum. Again though, depends on what you’re planning to do while in Tulum.

I honestly don’t know where to begin!!! the experience was nothing short of magic! From luxurious, comfortable unique facilities to just the most amazing crew of people that works there! Arturo from the front seat even catered to my wounded foot ( purely my luck lol) . Not only he fixed me up, but he was so sweet and intelligent and truly kept my spirits up. the outdoor showers were perfect !! I saw some reviews that water was barely, mine was perfectly hot! and it’s just such an amazing experience! I also had a room with a private plunge pool which was just perfect!!!! so private in nature! Unbelievable! and of course I must share about their wellness center! Tanya took such an amazing care of me and recommended the perfect energy massage treatment! My therapist named IMELDA did some true deep healing on me! I’ve never experienced anything that powerful! tears of gratitude would just not stop until the end of the session! I mean I can go on and on and on about this place, but no words will describe it’s true magic! you gotta experience it! I am so grateful!

- The staff were so friendly, personable and attentive; it really made our stay feel special. - Breakfast was great and in a beautiful setting every morning. - The pool and beach areas are lovely and very comfortable, with plenty of areas to relax both in the sun and shade.

- Dinner wasn't as good as breakfast; I feel the menu could benefit from more variety and some of the dishes didn't quite work (the lamb for example). More authentic Mexican options would have been nice. - The jungle room tents are not waterproof and our room got wet twice when it rained, although the staff were quick to resolve it.

Habitas is an incredible and calm haven in Tulum, perfectly-located away from the noisy main area but close enough to drive/cycle. We stayed in a jungle bungalow with a private pool and it was just perfect for our honeymoon. Loved the main pool area also and the staff are so friendly and super-helpful. Spa is heavenly, most amazing massage. The activities offered are a great addition to the stay. Loved it and already looking for other habitus locations for our next trip.

The food in the restaurant was hit and miss, we loved breakfast but the dinner options were not as good. Seaweed at the beach is a shame, clear water would have made it 100% perfect. Coordinating room cleaning was sometimes delayed and we needed to ask a few times. This could be better arranged.

The hotel is very special in a nice location on the Tulum beach strip. It is completely separate from other hotels with its own beach and feels pristine and private. We loved the atmosphere given the natural environment, sleeping in tents, use of sustainable products, innovative food, abundant outdoor spaces, beautiful beach and pool. It was a perfect way to detach for a week and truly enjoy our holiday. Staff are attentive, responsive and kind. We felt as part of a large family while staying there. The hotel is small and feels very private. All in all, fantastic vacation, we will be back for sure.

We liked everything but of course when you sleep in tents, you can hear all the noise from the outside, whether is is early morning yoga sessions, staff maintaining the property or music from the bar, depending on the location of the tent. You can request a quieter one if the occasional noise bothers you. A very special and authentic hotel in Tulum.

The daily music program was wonderful. The food and drinks are great. A paradise to stay in. The beach and pool were lovely and close to the tent. Loved the WhatsApp reception service, always attentive and available to answer and support. Love the family vibe welcome and the bracelet. Gives warm welcome

The pool temperature is very cold but I understand the sustainability aspect. The room I booked was patrial ocean view, which was great closer to the beach but next to the restaurant and bar. At my stay, I didn't mind it because I was waking up early but for light sleepers, it can b noisy during the morning.

The facilities are architecturally really great. It is a unique experience to day at a luxurious tent. During night to avoid humidity you have to leave the ac on, which is a bit of shame due to noise since you could otherwise probably hear the waves. The food (dinner and breakfast) was both great but is quite pricy.

The coffee! It's a shame since they do have a great espresso machine. So that is definitely something which could get better. A place like this could have a barrista. The beach is quite small, it wasn't so clear to us from the photos and Google maps that you can't walk on the beach and get to the longer beaches.

This hotel is great, not close enough to town to walk but a bike ride or quick taxi ride away. Nice to be in a quiet relaxing hotel in Tulum. The live music was fantastic on Sunday day, and during dinner service. Food was great! The wait staff was fabulous but Roger was the real star! He was so attentive and personable! Our hot water wasn’t working but it was fixed right away! The only thing I suggest is new bicycles. The handle bars and chains would fall off every time we used them :/ Overall we loved the hotel and would stay here again! The beach, pool, yoga, and tent rooms were on point. Highly recommend !

Habitas Tulum is heaven on earth. A sanctuary. So tranquil, absolutely stunning location, impeccable healthy food, genuinely kind staff all around. Everyone makes an effort to remember your names, room number, morning beverage order, etc. The rooms are large and luxurious and the outdoor shower was such a unique offering. They even called a doctor to the resort to help us when someone in my party got an ear infection. The Wellness Center and offerings are beautiful and robust. I thought this place looked perfect online and it was even better in real life.

The only thing that future visitors should consider is how live music is pivotal to the Habitas community. There’s live music several times a week and as you’re staying in a tent, you can’t avoid it. It’s not my normal cup of tea, but being open minded to it allowed me to enjoy it. Nothing goes excessively late by any means, and it’s very peaceful during the day.

Besides the fact that everything is super costly in tulum, our stay at habitas made it worth it. The space, food and staff were incredible. They were at ready to assist you, friendly conversation to make you feel welcomed and fantastic food options for every single meal.

The only thing was that i expected the beach/pool lounge area to be a little larger. It is super boutique like. If you are looking for quiet and private time this will work very well for you.
