The room was clean comfortable and a good size with balcony Breakfast a good selection from all over the world. Location was Excellent could not fault the Location at all.

The room had no USB ports, and the Mattress's were old and tiered. Breakfast would have been even better had there been either Beans or Tomatoes and English Tea bags. The hotel location was Excellent. Overall in my humble opinion to improve your Hotel I would put USB ports in , Bigger cups, replace the mattress's and I would also drill some ventilation holes in the top of the cupboards that house the refrigerators. Ohh and also put the shower spray head which has great pressure on the end wall. And you will have a great Hotel geared towards the future. Great Britain.

AS I said previously, the location is excellent, the staff upon arrival, much later than anticipated, were verykind. Breakfast was good

I wished to spend an extra day in Maastricht, was told that my room was available, but they would not honor the price paid for my first night. Surprising as the hallway was soked due to a massive flood, pipe bust, I think. There was no water at least not all day. Contrast that to a comparable hotel in Berlin, where unsked, the hotel gave their guests a 25 Euro discount and free breakfast because the a/c had failed. I decided to stay the 2nd night elsewhere

I really liked this hotel! It’s directly across from the train station so you don’t have to lug your stuff far. My room was also quite large and was super clean and comfortable. The hallways are a bit run down, but the room was great! And the location is convenient to downtown. It was about a 15 minute walk to the other side of the river, but the hotel-side of the river has many great restaurants and shops, so there are lots of places to eat. The bar and restaurant in the old part of the hotel are worth a visit - I had a drink there - because they harken back to the hotel’s glory days. Altogether, I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was o good!

Hallways are a bit rundown, but it didn’t really matter much.

Location is really really good. It's at the opposite of the train station. It's easy to get to the tourist attractions.

Before bed time, I heard noisy sound like pump drawing water, but I ignored it, and fell in sleep. At midnight, I woke up and heard the noise again, and I couldn't sleep and my wife was, too. I tried to call reception but nobody answered it. Finally a staff answered the phone and told me to record it. I told him it's impossible to do it because it happened on and off and irregularly. After 30 minutes, I fell in sleep. When I woke up in the morning, we heard the noise again and again and I called the reception again, the manger said sorry first, and treated us a free breakfast and promised to find someone to check it on Monday. They were responsible for it quickly. I appreciated for it.

Breakfast was very good. Location was opposite the train station which is why I booked the hotel.

The booking system. I understand the "temporary charge" is in the conditions of booking. BUT - I booked 2 rooms in September 2022 for a stay in July 2023. In December a 40% charge was taken from my credit card - with no advance email warning - this included a non sterling charge from my bank on top. It then took me 12 weeks to get this "temporary charge" repaid - not to my card but to my bank account - again incuring a non sterling charge by my bank. The whole system cost me money. I would have much preferred to pay a deposit up front when doing the original booking.

Great situation. Lovely staff. Comfortable bedrooms. Bread and croissants were delicious.

Think the breakfast food, in general, could be improved. Fruit juices were very weak. Cooked elements were basic. Cups should be supplied with saucers as walking with a hot drink, holding cup with your fingers, which is very hot, is dangerous. Spills are controlled by the saucer. Think more staff are required in the kitchen area as sometimes we were waiting for food or crockery to be replaced.

My key wouldn't work. After a key reset didn't work, the desk attendant happily and apologetically walked me to my room to try again, but thought ahead and carried a key to a new room in case my digital lock was the issue, which it was. My bathtub was large and sparkling clean. The bed was delightfully moderately firm. Very peaceful stay with a lovely seat cushion at the window which looked out onto an inner garden area, private to the hotel. I enjoyed the blend of modern and classical art with historic architectural features in the lobby. The breakfast food items were replenished often and as plentiful as a four star hotel in the city center! The food service staff was professional and friendly; the breakfast area was constantly tidied. I had worried about noisy trains at the station across the street. They are quiet because they are electric and have no whistles! As a single woman, I felt very safe walking under the low glow street lighting to the train station at night to find a lovely selection of prepared foods to purchase for my hotel snack picnic. The shops at the train station also carried a wide variety of toiletries and travel related items, such as umbrellas, evening slippers, and warm gloves for reasonable prices.

It would serve you to peek behind the curtains to understand there are two fresh air vents, easily controlled with string mechanisms. My room was chilly until I moved the curtain farther aside and found the second vent.

Location and staff

The hotel was in a good location and the staff members were really nice. The only thing I will say is that, I was very surprised that I wasn't informed about the reconstruction on the floor where my room was situated. One of the workers and I'm sorry to say this, but he smelled very, very bad. It was very uncomfortable. During breakfast time, we had to ask someone to clean our table and the orange juice wasn't a fresh orange juice, it was from a machine and it wasn't good.

Room comfortable, good selection of breakfast choices. Location just a short walk from historic centre.

We arrived late after a long journey and two hours in a traffic jam. When attempting to open the door to our room, a man was already in there, who obviously should not have been. He tried to show us to another room. Reception were very apologetic and found us another room, but we could have done without the hassle after a very long day.

Location. Large room. Exceptionally comfortable beds.

Smoking allowed on balconies. Had to keep windows closed at times as the smoke smell came into the room. Very small cups for drinks.
