Close to train station, wide choice at breakfast. Loved the evening meal, coffee, tea, water and hot chocolate station in reception. Best of all room had proper armchairs to sit in!

The only thing was they couldn’t provide a double bed. The twin room had narrow separate beds and I’m a large lady, thought I’d fall off the bed all night long!

Great location, 7-8 min walk from Central Station and same to the museum island. Great breakfast (breads, cheeses, ham, eggs from boiled to scrambled, even crepes with different types of jams/spreads, and huge plus for a dinner option - we stayed 2 nights and we took an advantage of the offered meals and cannot complain. Every night there was a hot soup and main dish + salad option. Bathroom was pretty small but it was not a deal breaker. Definitely recommend.

The hotel was located close to the Oslo Central Station and the opera House, making it a very convenient commute to anywhere in the city. The room is of a reasonable size for two and the mattress, though thin, was surprisingly comfortable to sleep on. There was plenty of storage spaces. What I like most were the provision of breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner every day. The dinner menu even changes every evening. The food was simple but scrumptious.

The attached toilet was a little small, especially the shower area which required some skilful manoeuvre when the two half-panels were closed to prevent water splatter. The TV could be more updated. Can we also have more hangers? These are just some minor gripes.

The staff were so nice. It's a quirky hotel with lots of character. It is a bit farther to walk than others in the area. The bathroom floor was heated. The evening meal was good as was breakfast, even vegan choices. Really the only bad thing was the 4 steps up into the building hauling my suitcase. It's not accessible and having just had knee surgery this was an unwelcome surprise. You also have to walk 10 minutes for any public transport as it is not right on a bus or tram. I really liked the atmosphete and would stay there again. I will enjoy it more when my knee is healed and walking and stairs are not an issue.

Please see below, the room was small and it is a bit longer to walk there but i knew that and I wanted the cheaper price. I thought it fair value for Oslo and for its location.

The staff were really lovely, all very friendly. We arrived three hours before check in, and were able to store our luggage, and have a cup of tea before we set off. Food was plentiful, especially the breakfast. We only managed Fika once as we were out and about, but that's an absolute bonus. I slept really well while I was there. And I also enjoyed the use of Rituals shower gel. My son used the gym, and said it was great for a quick workout.

We enjoyed everything about the hotel. Although, and this is being picky, I do love toast in the morning, so a toaster in the breakfast room would be a bonus, but no drama if not, there's plenty of choices.

Rooms were very comfortable, and the meals were excellent. Staff was courteous and helpful. It was an amazing location within walking distance of anything we wanted to see or do (and very close to the train station for anything further out).

Meal times were a little restrictive. We chose a hotel with meals included so that we wouldn't have to worry about finding places to eat every meal, but it would have been nice to have each meal last about an hour longer to space out the number of people dining and have more flexibility for when we could show up to eat. The food was amazing, though, and the kitchen staff were great!

Beautiful hotel, in the center of Oslo. Wonderful staff, helpful and always available. We stayed in a superior double room with a terrace and we are completely delighted. Clean and tidy, floor heating in the bathroom. Toilet equipped with towels and necessary amenities. Hair dryer and ketler with glasses amd tea complementary. The food is excellent, both for breakfast and lunch. You can use the coffee machine in the lobby all day, prepare tea and hot chocolate. You can also take it to your room. It's fantastic that you have the option to enjoy a Norwegian afternoon snack (fika time) where you also get cake. Room cleaning needs to be announced, but you can always get clean towels and everything you need at the reception. Check in/out is easy, can be done online. Excellent connection to any part of the city or to the airport, as it is less than a 10-minute walk away. Overall, we will definitely come back and recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone.

The evening dinner and breakfast buffet combined with pleasant staff made my stay wonderful. Definitely recommend to others as well. This place deserves many more customers.

This was such great value for money as we had bed, breakfast and an evening meal included. The location was fabulous - 4 mins walk from the waterfront and opera house. The staff were lovely and super helpful and the beds were so comfy. Rooms and bathrooms were compact but fine for a couple for a night. We really appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in reception - a great touch! The evening meal was great - as was the breakfast! No complaints! This is not a five star luxury hotel but a lovely clean functional base to explore Oslo with lovely staff :) we couldn’t have asked for anything more for the price we paid :)

Fantastic set of staff members, exceptionally helpful and friendly, everyone of them always carry a refreshing smile on their faces. As of the location of the hotel, main sightseeing places are just a stone's throw away distance from the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms, give a relaxing feel. Highly recommended for family stay. The breakfast and evening meal- half board option - was fabulous. Such a selection. Also, 24 hours the free tea and coffee throughout was really good. Overall, a fantabulous hotel.
