Overall I had a great experience. The location was superb, right in front of all the main attractions. The self-check-in and self-check-out system via an app was convenient and efficient 👍🏼 The room was spacious, modern, and well-equipped with a small kitchenette, including a dishwasher, oven, and sink, which was a pleasant surprise. The cleanliness and comfort of the room, especially the bed, were top-notch. Revier Hotel is still a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Oslo, offering a pleasant stay with its excellent location and well-appointed rooms!

Cleaning is not included, which it is not normal for 4 stars hotel. Regarding breakfast at the bar, there were limited options available. It is not a buffet but A la Carte ( 5 choices only ) .The Norwegian specialty breakfast, which I found to be just okay, and an alternative selection that included avocado /halloumi toasts. Despite the average Norwegian specialty breakfast, I enjoyed the other choices available. However, it was a bit disappointing that the cappuccinos were not included 👎🏼

The rooms were s good size, bed comfortable and kitchenette had everything needed. The digital access to onsite laundry and supply room - nice additional touch. The location was good only 10 min walk to Central station and many attractions to visit.

The digital app was erratic and we needed to delete and Re upload several times. The explanation on downloading the first time could be clearer prior to checkin.

Facilities are great

Having you room key on your phone leaves you beholden to you phone battery which is so annoying.

Loved the spacious apartment

The mobile phone access required at every point of access moving around the hotel... front door access, floor access, room access, laundry access, supply room access... it has a great dependence on wifi working, website working, app working, phone with sufficient battery... not great when it doesn't work! Day 1 we could not get access to the hotel via to the app... it seemed to be down... got "error page not found"... on asking for help the response was "it should be working"... processes should always cater for these situations. All other access after gaining access was slow to release locks. Give me a card reader any day.

Good location, comfy.

Well in the era of apps - Everything is to be controlled by the app at hotel (elevator, door lock). But we had a little trouble to log into the app and stuff had no idea how to manage it (he said “first day in the job”). Breakfast is nice at the end but. You receive every Morning the same plate consist od two slices (halfs) of bread, two slices of chees and ham, Very little butter, one boiled egg and the. You can grab one croissant, yogurt with müsli, juice. Nice, but everyday all the same. So what if you don’t want a ham that day or…I thing It’s a little bit a waste at the end (however I think they would like to save).

Note that I am in my 70s, but still do some work-related travel, when I am invited to interesting meetings'. this matters to my review, because I come form a generation when my whole life is not on my cellphone. If you are not comfortable with all modern informatics technologies, you will have some teething pains, Ias I did for the first couple days. The good news is that the support is excellent, and after a couple days all went well. The staff down in the Revier restaurant were among the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered, the room facilities were excellent and location was convenient to everything but VERY quiet.

Too few power outlets. I absolutely never was able to figure out how to get the radio beside the bed turned on (again, all the ultramodern technology, so ther are no simple dials anywhere) and my preference for background soft music when I am working wasn't possible. Some people might not like the lack of daily room cleaning, but for me, traveling for work, it pretty much onl;y meant I had to make my bed each day, and not leave the bathroom sink a mess. The mid-stay cleaning was excellent.

Central location to museums, waterfront, downtown shopping. Excellent 10 course meal served by Savage restaurant located in hotel. Really cool rooftop DJ Bar with city and some harbor views.

No in room coffee, Had to buy in lobby. Meager breakfast offering. Had to go to different hotel. Needed well charged cell phone for each guest.to open door to room and operate elevator. System didn't work well on weekend mornings. Some confusion over name of place; either Revier or Att.

Once I figured out the app it was great. Didn't realize there was luggage storage until I walked around town for a couple of hours with it before I read more carefully through the app details. Otherwise, the room was great. Very comfortable and quiet. Liked the tv setup that made it easy to cast your own stuff to the tv.

I couldn't figure out how to get to the roof and the restaurant had weird hours. It seemed like from what the app was saying the common area was only open when the restaurant was, which is insane.

Breakfast was very expensive by North American standards; as most were in Scandinavia. The Breakfast Plate option was huge, however, and kept us going all day. Their bar on the roof looked really nice; the attached restaurant, NullNull, had excellent Italian food. It was great to be able to relax 'at home' for dinner. We were moved to a studio apartment, which was very well lit and lovely. Very modern . Helpful staff to get you to the luggage room to keep your stuff until the room was ready. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

The first room we were given on the courtyard side was a few floors up from a 5 ton air conditioner for a property nearby. Quite noisy. We would not have been able to keep the windows open. The cleaning could have been better. The counters were not completely wiped clean, and a cabinet door in the kitchen was a bit sticky. You need an app to stay here. It may be glitchy....I would prefer to register with a person.

This might be the best possible location in Oslo. Very central and close to everything while being on a relatively quiet street. Pretty much all central attractions of the city are within 10-15 minutes of a walk at most. The check-in process is very smooth and the property is as advertised.

There is a construction site nearby which caused some occasional noise earlier in the morning but the already quiet nature of the street trumped that presence.
