The hotel was nice, new and modern, clean, with comfy beds and an excellent breakfast. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of food. The staff was nice and polite.

It would be nice if guests would be able to open windows and have some extra facilities in the room like a cabinet or a mini fridge. Also, some room decoration would be nice. The dining room is nicely decorated but the room is all gray which is too dark for us. The location is OK since metro train runs fast, so we needed 10 minutes to the city center, but the train itself goes every 15 minutes. The area is outside the city, residential. The price for a child was too high compared to other hotels in the area which do not charge for a child.

Generally it was a great hotel with standout staff - really helpful and friendly, and that made a difference to my stay; they try to upgrade you or give you a more advantageous room where possible. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious with a wonderful bathroom, although it took me a week to figure out that there was a switch inside to turn the ceiling lights on (the bathroom switch on the outside puts very dim light on inside), but that's on me. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of warm options and I appreciated the vegan fridge with non-dairy products. Everything functioned seamlessly.

The location was a bit gloomy - it seemed to be in a non-central business park type of area with these typical 2010s housing developments that all look the same all around Løren. You could find shops, cafes and restaurants around but the neighbourhood seemed very soulless to me regardless. The bus stops were close enough to the hotel but a bit tricky to figure out (different bus stops for different bus numbers). For this reason I would only recommend the hotel to those getting around Oslo by car.

- The room was a good size - certainly enough for a married couple and their teenage son. - The bathroom was also sufficiently roomy; I've often been in hotels where all the utilities have been too close together, but this was not the case here. - I appreciated the air con! - The breakfast was excellent - so much choice. - The location is good - just five minutes or so from Løren T-bane station or, in the other direction for roughly the same distance and time, the number 60 bus which goes right into Oslo city centre - but do be aware that after a long day walking around Oslo, the five-minute walks can seem like miles taking an eternity!

I would like to have had a safe in the room for valuables. Also, while we as a family tend not to drink tea or coffee, we did notice there was no kettle in the room.

I chose this hotel based on previous comments on the breakfast and I was not disappointed! Lots of choice and high quality items. I arrived at around 11am and they were able to check me in early, which was really helpful.

It would have been helpful to know that they charge extra for the use of the gym. It was quite expensive and not worth paying for considering I just wanted a quick work out. If I had known this, I wouldn't have brought my gym gear with me. There is no safe in the room. When I checked out, I left my luggage. There were safes in the luggage room. It would have been good to know this before.

The room was great. We stayed in a family room, which is basically two rooms with the wall in between them removed, and the pull out couch put in the middle. So space for 6 people. 2 bathrooms was a huge plus for our big family. The breakfast was exceptional. We travel a lot as a family. This was one of the best hotel breakfasts we ever had. Great variety. Above basic food. Check out was at 12, which is great too, no need to rush in the morning.

Paid parking, which was expected. But it was a bit hard to find. Breakfast is till 9:30. It's be great if it was till 10 or 10:30 These are minor things though.

Warm welcome, helpful staff. Clean and modern. Shuffle game in lobby was fun. Waiter/bar man in restaurant was really friendly. Food was really nice, if a little overpriced, hot and tasty. Breakfast…. well that has to be one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Everything you could ever want and more, and all (well mostly) nice healthy choices too. Locally I would say there’s not too much going on, but we had a late evening wander to a local park, there are shops and some restaurants. Seems like a chilled and very safe neighbourhood.

Expensive on site parking. No kettle or tea/coffee machine in rooms.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful! So many options and everything was delicious! The staff was friendly and so helpful. Every part of the hotel was emaculately clean. Blackout curtains kept the room completely dark for a lot longer than those 3 hours of natural darkness.

The parking lot was a good distance away from the hotel lobby (>400m with a lot of steps). The parking lot was under construction or part of a construction site. Not concrete or asphalt, just dirt/gravel with lots of puddles. The location was easy on/off to main roads and within walking distance to the port. NOTE: walking to the port is a lot easier than from the port. Logged 10miles that day.

The room was great, very clean and spacious. The bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast impeccable with tasty local products. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately the only negative note was the fact that the receptionist didn't mention us the breakfast times on Monday that were different, so we almost missed it. Luckily an assistant made us a little plate with some leftovers from the kitchen. We really appreciated her effort.

The breakfast we had was very good, rich selection of different foods, coffee etc. Food is also fresh. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent! Location of the hotel was perfect for our trip, shopping mall just next to the hotel. Staff is very helpful regarding parking as well.

Only issue we faced was heavy & smelly stains on the carpet in the hallway of our floor that did not get recognized or cleaned for a day, but such things can happen. Automated check-in machines are rather impersonal, but staff is always reachable.

The breakfast was outstanding: a variety of local specialties as well as more standard continental items, plenty of hot and cold selections. Bedrooms were clean and quiet, though a bit small. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The man who checked us in was exceptionally helpful and gave us maps and lots of tips on what to do and see.

Location was a bit out of the way. From Oslo Sentrum it was a 10 minute city train ride (or 15-20 minute bus ride) plus a 5 minute walk. It wasn't bad for an active person like myself, but some people may find the walk difficult, as there are quite a few stairs, and Oslo doesn't seem to clear snow from its sidewalks often.
