The staff is so incredibly friendly. By day 2 I felt like I knew everyone. I felt so safe and at home with everyone here. Breakfast was delicious. Perfect start to each morning. Simple and efficient. Location is unbeatable - walking distance to so much great stuff while also being just out of the way enough that nights were quiet so sleep was uninterrupted. Excellent stay for a solo traveler.

Not necessarily a bad thing but I had a friend swing by after a night out. She didn’t intent to stay but the front desk required a payment for an overnight guest regardless. We just paid and she ended up staying the night.

First of all, before choosing a hotel, you have to know what are your agenda like. We were out most of the time, from morning to late night to make the most of the daylight. The room was functional and big for european standard, there was 3 of us and there was room for all our luggage and move around easily. The bathroom was also big, clean, had a bathtub and a shower. Location of hotel is a plus, walking distance to some good restaurants, souvenir shops, etc. The highlight has to be the owners themselves! It’s a family run hotel, they were extremely helpful from the time we arrived till we left - where to eat, what to be aware off, recommendations and it was lovely to see all the generations taking turn manning the counter and running the hotel

Nothing really. Again, align your expectation.

The staff were all friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We arrived very late and we were welcomed with a big smile and by our names. The room was simple, no frills, but I like it like that :) I loved the breakfast - the peaches were SO good! The was a good selection of bread rolls and it seemed like they were either baking or collecting fresh pastries or macaroons every morning. The eggs were good too, though I would have liked some mustard with them!! Cereal, milk, yogurt, ham, cheese, baked beans, coffee, tea, juice, water... something for everyone in our group.

I slept really well, but my son is a little more fussy. The beds had a protective undercover sheet that wasn't the most comfortable for him, but I can understand why they have them! There were some squeaky floorboards that meant I also woke him up whilst I was trying to creep out of the room and he was still asleep! Separate rooms would solve that problem!

Lovely staff, friendly and helpful with advice, recommendations, directions etc. Clean, fresh, airy feeling to rooms, nothing fancy but all you need. Good strong shower. I had a room overlooking the street with juliet balcony so could have the doors open for air circulation (there is air conditioning but I didn't need it, even though it was about 18-20C overnight and 28-30C daytime. Bit of noise from the street when doors open but you're just outside the busy area so not too bad, and doors double glazed so quiet when closed. Restaurants, shops and transport options all within minutes walk.

Sound proofing between room and hall/stairs (i.e. through door) isn't great. Unfortunately I had a bunch of drunk lads getting back at 4am on the first night, as well as a few people up fairly early (6am-ish) for flights, so loud voices, slamming doors etc. Not every night (not a peep until 8/9am on last night), and never heard anything from adjacent rooms - basically you're at the mercy of other guests' behaviour in the shared space.

The location is very central, perfect for a solo female traveler like me. Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast. The room was clean. The room is very small and basic, with no closet for clothing but this was my expectation from a 2-star hotel so overall I was happy with my stay.

The bed could have been a bit larger and had more space for clothing. I think the price was a bit high for a 2-star hotel but I guess this has something to do about the housing price surges in Portugal so it has become the norm.

Most of all, we loved the location and the staff. We were within walking distance of everything we need including train station, restaurants and nearby towns. The staff were so friendly from the get go and we got great recommendations and local history from Hussein. They also organised a taxi for us early in the morning and had round the clock service if we needed anything. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Such a great stay and will definitely be back.

Small but very cozy hotel in the heart of Lisbon, very convenient location! if you are looking for a hotel where you can spend the night and spend the rest of the day walking around the city, this is the perfect choice. And I also want to highlight the friendly staff of two men at the reception who were extremely polite and friendly, helped with all questions and helped with the main points of visit in the city😊 thank you from Ukraine 🇺🇦

I would like a little more variety in the breakfast

This may be a 2 stars hotel, but the service is for 5 stars. The room was perfectly clean, beds comfortable, the windows sound proof. The hotel even has a lift. The level of cleaning is above average. Due to the Covid situation, the breakfast was not self service, but you can still get all you want to eat. They sometimets even suprise you (my daughter received Nutella without asking for it). The hosts are excellent, always smiling, speaking perfest English, share all the touristic information you need. The location is amazing, a very safe street (I would recommend the hotel for single women travelers as well), close to Metro, bus, restaurants,... in walking distance to everything in the center of Lisbon. I would highly recommend this hotel to all families, solo travelers...

Couldn't fault our experience, clean neat rooms, great central location, varied tasty breakfast and helpful owners. The bathroom was compact but the shower was powerful and the hot water plentiful, just what was needed after a long day sightseeing. We have been wanting to visit Lisbon for years and both the city itself and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel owner and staff were very friendly and polite and happy to offer advice on the best and cheapest way to get around. In general also everyone who we came across in shops, stations and restaurants was very polite and helpful.

Nothing comes to mind.

Location was perfect. Close to metro stations and main hubs of the city. Can walk everywhere from there. The very friendly and helpful staff (family-run) was a gem. AC was a blessing during this very hot season.

Breakfast was a bit bland. Was OK, but as a frequent and worldwide traveller, the breakfast was just acceptable. Bathroom did not have a fan. After the 3 guests used the bathroom, it became very stuffy.
