Our stay at Lisbon Wine Hotel was exceptional. A beautiful location in Lisbon… that was in the center of old Lisbon, with lots of history…. Fabulous restaurants, lots of shopping of all levels….. designer boutiques to souvenir shops. Our room (501) was perfectly appointed with all the amenities necessary. Our ensuite had toothbrushes, tooth paste, soaps, lotions, razor, …etc. great towels, hair dryer, rain shower and hand held shower, the room had a huge bed, great sheets and pillows and duvet. We had a sitting room area…. Lots of outlets, great windows that opened to 2 french balconies. We received a nice bottle of wine and complimentary drinks when we arrived. Our receptionist Nicole was excellent. She was very informative and helpful in every way, The breakfast was fabulous…. We had a la carte as well as buffet style…. Selection of beverages, meats, cheeses, sweet treats , fresh fruit, mimosa…. All included with our booking. The staff were very attentive. I would highly recommend everyone to book with this hotel. There are different sizes of rooms … to fit all budgets. It makes such a difference to have this type of accommodation to return to at the end of the day of walking the streets and touring beautiful Lisbon. The owners of the hotel were also present one morning and I was sure to let them know what a beautiful and well run hotel they provided for their guests. Perfect time to travel in the second week of September

The interior was beautiful and the staff was super friendly and very helpful. They greet you with a glass of wine when you arrive. Gave great instructions on things to do and how to get around. The service was above and beyond. We had an early morning flight so would have missed breakfast, and they kindly packed us a very generous breakfast to go with juice, pastries, and even fresh pastel de nata! It is in an alleyway so it's not the Ritz, but for us to give it more of a genuine local vibe. One warning, cabs can't get you directly to the door but it's less than a five minute walk. Great value!

It's a cute little hotel, and the rooms have everything you may need. The bed was big and very comfortable. The staff are kind. Filtered water is always available at the receiption. Location is great for exploring Lisbon.

It would hvae been a great stay but for one thing - we had no hot water in our room for all 3 days of our stay, so showers were really not a pleasant experience. It was lukewarm at best and one of the days it was really just cold. We left it running for a long time, tried everything, no luck. Staff was informed but told us it's just the way it is. No compensation or alternative solutions were provided. This was really unfortunate and is the reason I cannot rate the hotel higher.

The breakfast was frankly amazing. Beautiful tiny crafted cakes that ere delicious alongside very high quality meats cheeses and quiche and salad. Orange juice tasted and looked like it had been freshly squeezed. Really impressed. Apart from that the staff seemed to know my name without looking it up and were super friendly professional and courteous. They exuded a pride in their establishment and rightly so. Thank you for helping to make our stay in Lisbon so memorable for us

Very clean, comfortable rooms, very central.we arrived very early in the morning but were able to check into our rooms, such a bonus after a flight, and were welcomed with a drink. If we returned to Lisbon we would absolutely stay here again. The staff are so attentive and polite, breakfast was great, food was great, everything about this hotel has a personal touch which you don’t get in large chain hotels. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay special. By the way you should sell to your guests the room fragrance, it would remind people of your wonderful hotel ! Anyone looking at hotels in Lisbon book this one you will not be disappointed.

The hotel was spotless and the staff were exceptionally friendly, great breakfast and good location to explore all parts of the city. The breakfast buffet was better than I have had in many other hotels and was constantly topped up. The staff at the hotel, whether at reception or during breakfast, were always super friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean and we loved the wine theme of the different floors. The beds were big with fresh white linen and super comfortable, the shower was also good. I can imaginge that the little courtyard is the perfect spot in the warmer months. The hotel is small but really well thought out and our room was a good size. We had a little juliet balcony out to the street which was great. With the windows closed at night there was no noise from the street.

The location was everything because it wasn’t far from downtown and tucked away where there were great restaurants around. Great seafood restaurants especially Pinoquo. Within distance to the high end shopping strip. Short walk to the metro station. Greeted at the hotel upon check in with a bottle of wine and welcome drink. Bed was absolutely dreamy! Felt like I was on clouds.

The only thing was people walking by yelling. Most likely they were intoxicated.

Everything : room size, layout, comfort, sockets literally everywhere, lighting, cleanness (every day), every part of the room and hotel smells very pleasant. The reception lobby smells like fresh wineyard. The location is absolutely perfect, in a quiet area of the old town, at walking distance to everything. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is amazing and very diverse.

The fact that I had to leave :(

Staff were excellent . Especially Ali at check in. He was so patient and a wealth of knowledge on all things Lisbon. And Shahin who took care of us every night at dinner or drinks. Warm and kind with the most welcoming smile

I didn’t like the curtains , they were too close to the bed so felt very claustrophobic. And the fabric bed head. Felt dusty Also water pressure in shower was very poor and took ages for the hot water to warm

Boutique-style hotel, smaller, very welcoming and extremely good service; everyone seemed to know us by name. Breakfast was excellent! Many thanks to Giovanni for the best cappuccinos! Also omelets were delicious. Don't overlook the hotel restaurant for lunch or dinner, really superior food compared to more touristy restaurants close by. Plus as a guest you are entitled to 10% off. Ellen was able to get us a reservation at a restaurant that was technically booked (the palace nearby). Room was really beautiful with big Juliet-style balconies that opened wide. Very comfortable bed, pillows, shower. Lovely hardwood-type floors. Very clean room and hotel, gracious housekeeper. Very good location. When our flight was delayed by 12 hours, the hotel kept our luggage for us and allowed us to use all the common-area facilities, they were very happy to be able to help us.

I can't think of any negatives.
