Not clear what was mini bar and what is complementary in the room. Need everytime to check the bills, I found a couple misteskes. And almost no noise canceletion in the room, we waked up at 8am because they started cleaning next room.

Location with access to the sea was special. You would not need to leave the property as you had all you needed there. The spa treatments were excellent and Thalassotherapy zone very good

On arrival late at night I was asked to pay upfront. I asked to see the room and found that despite requesting a room with balcony and sea view I was offered a room with a window view of the sea and our balcony faced an overgrown tree which blocked the light. We were then offered a perfect room in the same class beside all the pools and restaurants with a terrace from where you could not only see the sea but hear the waves also. Once settled in there we were able to enjoy all this great resort had to offer

Location and service quality

Starting to look a little tired and the plumbing and associated drains showing their age. Most restaurants did not justify a return visit and all were poor value for money. Our fourth visit over many years but we will be looking for a new venue if we visit Tenerife again.

From the second we arrived staff were superb - always a friendly greeting, calm, accommodating! Breakfast was spectacular; astonishing choice in a beautiful room or outdoor terrace with views. Hotel itself was gorgeous, full of secluded areas so even though it was at capacity when we stayed it never seemed crowded. Range of pools, with warm or cold, salt or freshwater. It's also right on the beach (though you wouldn't know, it's so private) and just 10 mins walk from several restaurants in Costa Adeje if you fancy a change.

Restaurants on site were a little pricy but had an excellent meal at the Italian and the Beach Club despite that.

The hotel complex itself and location is superb on the beach (public). There are lots of nooks and crannies on outdoor terraces. Hotel is set on many different levels so lots of steps and adventures trying to find where you’re going. Plenty of recliners close and not close to pools. The Aqua fitness was excellent. Lifeguard called Santiago went above and beyond his duties in treating a cut on my foot. He was extremely kind and professional. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful but particularly Santiago and also Nicklaus in the top bar (5th floor). They were just excellent; extremely friendly and helpful.

Disappointed with our deluxe sea view double room because it wasn’t really deluxe. States in literature on hotel and Booking.com website that there is a balcony or terrace and outdoor furniture. We did not have this. Also stated room contained single and large double beds. It didn’t. Room and furniture in our room was quite outdated. It did have a magnificent view. But overall comment on room is disappointing.

One warmish pool - the rest were freezing.

There is nothing we didn't like. Staff is super welcoming and accommodating, and there was nothing they couldn't arrange (from tennis coach to day trips and nannies). The hotel is beautiful with amazing gardens, pools, and many restaurants to choose from. The beach club (also because of Luis and Javier) was the best for lunch. The kids club is amazing with tons of things to do for the little ones. Especially Gemma was a superstar with the kids; our son kept asking to go back to her. We also enjoyed the spa and tennis court. The whole property was super taken care of and well maintained.

Just some well-meant advice: skip the extra (10€) fee if a guest already had a spa treatment...

Everything was wonderful. The hotel was extremely accommodating about 3 of us staying in a suite, even going as far to put an extra single bed in there (celebrating a friend's birthday). Despite there being a lot of fellow guests, the hotel grounds around the pools was peaceful and tranquil. Loungers were comfortable with a mattress on. Plenty of water dotted around you could help yourself to as it was so hot. Gym was small but adequate. Didn't use the spa or any of the other facilities. Restaurants were all very nice and actually quite reasonable in price.

Breakfast was excellent . Dinner in all five restaurants we chose was excellent. Reception staff were very helpful

The service in most of the restaurants was excellent BUT NOT in the Hacienda. We had to wait ages to be served, a long wait between courses and eventually I had to grab a waiter to ask to be served dessert. The restaurant was busy but waiters seemed to waste a lot of time when they should have cleared used plates and apologised if there was a delay in the kitchen. We had booked a table but still had to stand in a queue, outside the restaurant and wait while non hotel guests tried to book tables for future evenings. Surely there should be a simple way of avoiding this? Two reception areas, one for hotel guests with booking and the other for people coming from outside? Having said that the food was delicious!
