the room was excellent as was the ensuite. We chose to eat in their restaurant for late lunch and found the staff very helpful with our dietary requirements. the food was excellent, and priced accordingly so we would stay there again

Breakfast promotion stated continental breakfast was 4euros or special breakfast prebooked the evening before 7.50 euros. In the morning as we went for breakfast we were advised eat in the cafe. Here we had 2 orange juices, 2 black coffees, 1 tostada tomate, 1 croisant and 2 kellogs cornflakes with soya milk. when we paid at reception 17.00 euros so ASK reception about where the breakfast offer is served. Free parking is on the street. No car park.

Fantastic one night stay to break up a long drive. Close to freeway. Our 2 bedroom room was huge and kids loved the spa bath. This hotel had everything we needed - bar/restaurant on site which was open for drinks when we arrived at 4pm. Dinner in the lovely courtyard was open from 8.30pm and we had a great meal. For breaky you could have the continental buffet (12euros pp) but we opted to eat at the cafe/bar where we enjoyed a tomato toast with jamon and a coffee for 5 euro. I would recommend this hotel!

Beautiful place, quite quirky, great, fantastic restaurant, although we don't eat meat so the Wagyu beef was not on our list of choices. Friendly helpful staff. I'm on a campaign for all restaurants to offer at least one vegan/vegetarian meal to help climate change, and we did eat only veges, so that was ok, but it wasn't a vegetarian meal as such.

We wanted a double room and got a twin. The singles beds did not have great matresses, my back was stiff the next day. The room was good value otherwise as it was very reasonably priced.

We were traveling from Portugal to the Basque Country in Spain and this was a lovely stop over. It was easy to access from the main highway, but felt like a little sanctuary with a lovely garden courtyard restaurant and another courtyard that felt more comfortable. we had large windows in the bedroom, the room was large enough with two twin beds, a small minifridge and desk. The price was also very good. All in all, we were very happy

the parking was a bit tight, but I think that had more to do with the other drivers.

The hotel has a lot o character, the room and bathroom were a larger size than I usually experienced. Also impressed with full vanity kit, well done!

The hotel has parking spaces around it, but they can get filled pretty quickly. You can find alternatives within a few minutes' walk but something to be mindful.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities excellent and atmospheric in a converted monastery. Food fantastic, drinks reasonably priced. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating areas and very well maintained.

No fault whatsoever - more than met our expectations and would highly recommend.

Very kind staff at the check in and the property itself is quite unique with lots to see. There is also a really nice park nearby to stroll around or to have a picknick! A supermarket is really nearby and also a pizza/burger place....good for when you'd like to go out with kids :-) It was a nice place for us to stop and rest for the night before moving on to the next destination!

The room was quite warm which does make sense as we were there in the beginning of September and the head board of the bed was loose and therefore banged against the wall which might have been a bit annoying for the people in the neighbouring room.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the hotel and we enjoyed the location. In addition, the receptionist that we’re on duty in the evening when we arrived and in the morning before we left we’re outstanding. They both went out of their way to be extremely kind and helpful.

The air con wasn’t very efficient in the room would definitely recommend this hotel and we’d definitely stay there again.

The place is simply fabulous! You don't expect to find yourself deep in times when you are not too far from the big noisy roads to Madrid. It is like oasis in the desert. In the evening the restaurant was opened in the garden: no mosquitoes at all, light of different colour created the atmosphere of a fairy tale. The food was delicious. The staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served inside the hotel, tables were put far from each other - everything for the safety of guests. We were asked to order everything we want for breakfast in the previous evening and the order was fulfilled. Thank you!

the noise at night due to a machine in the kitchen area, the telephone didn't work to contact the reception, so once we were at bed, my husband had to dress to go to the reception
