I had an incredible time staying at this hostel. The location is perfect for exploring Tenerife, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I was even invited to a BBQ with the host, his friends, and family, which was fantastic! We enjoyed some great conversations, and it was a nice opportunity to practice my Spanish. The overall atmosphere made the stay truly enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Tenerife. Highly recommended!

The mattresses of the bed are sagged (in a u shape). I think these should be replaced

Lena, who was in charge, is a real gem. She was extremely communicative in our exchanges, which reassured me to a great extent. That was truly important as my arrival was subject to many conditions, which she was more than happy to accommodate. On arrival she offered me some tea and also lent a helping hand with my luggage, which I needed to have taken care of after my checkout. Thanks to that I could climb Volcano Teide without any unnecessary literal burden on my shoulders. After my 24hour climb up and down I was offered a keen ear to listen to my stories as well as shower and towel, to my greatest of reliefs. Other than that the room was spacious with a comfy bed, the kitchen had all I needed, the bathrooms were fine and the showers worked perfectly. There's nothing more I could have wished for. Lena definitely deserves a rise with her super friendly attitude. Hospitality at its best. If you're reading it, Lena, you really made my day. Thank you so so much.

I had a very pleasant stay at the accommodation, especially enjoying the separate room with a comfortable double bed. The shared bathroom and kitchen were adequate and offered good value for money. The neighborhood was pleasant, tranquil, and quiet. The staff, including the owner, were extremely friendly and helpful, providing valuable insights on local attractions. The atmosphere was vibrant with guests from all around the world, offering great opportunities for engaging conversations and cultural exchanges. Additionally, there was the option to retreat to the living room for some solitude if desired.

Cleanliness was occasionally questionable, it wasn't dirty, just not sparkling clean. There were also intermittent issues with hot water, although there supposedly was a solution, it didn't always work for me.

Very nice hostel, extremely cheap compared to the others on the Island. Wonderful location (well, at the top of a steep walk but overall close to town centre, the sea and the mountains, plus La Orotava is really a Jewel). Easy check-in, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Showers are spacious and with hot water, amazing terrace as common area. At the time I went, once a week the staff prepares an amazing BBQ for a small contribution for all the guests! Perfect location if you want to go to the Teide, but also very close to the Ocean

It's not a feedback (the hostel is in no way responsible), just a warning for the users: if you go in winter, it is cold at night. Both in the rooms and the common area. I underestimated it

Surprisingly everything. The place emanates an atmosphere that is very congenial to travellers _solo or group_ with the result, you are exchanging all kinds of usefull but also very entertaining info with other guests. And there is generally always some one around, who can translate, in case you have language problems, as you do have people from all over the world coming here. And then of course there is Manfred, who can give you info on almost anything out here. He is proficient in a number of languages and seems to love his job. I enjoyed every second of it here and got to know and make excursions with other guests (ranging from USA/Ireland/Egypt/England) from the very first day I arrived here. Amazing!

I would have said, the hikes up and down the rather steep hill but they do keep me fit and moreover spare me the visits to the gym!

This is a nice place for budget travelers, one of the cheapest places I've stayed in Tenerife. I love that it's close to the center of La Orotava. I stayed in the private room, which was cozy and welcoming.

My room was right next to the kitchen and common area, so it wasn't exactly quiet. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything even if people are talking normally. It's a minor inconvenience, but for the price I can't really complain.

The owner Manfred is really a great guy and a nice person. The localization also is really awesome. And the hostel is always busy so you can meet a lot of people. You can do a laundry if you want and the rooftop is awesome to bath in the sun.

The lockers don't work so you can't put your belongings in safety. Internet works really good but is not available everywhere. It's not really clean everywhere...

The friendliness of Dario and other guests. I am senior in my years so the location is a bit hilly for me. With plenty of stops I managed to do my 3 20 minute walks each day.

The room I had didn't have a window that opened to the outside. The window in the room opened in to an internal corridor. I would have liked to have been able to rent an electric fan during my stay. Dario came to the rescue and provided a dehumidifier which really helped, thank you Dario.

The hostel is an old cozy house situated on the top of the hills of La Orotava, a beautiful historical city 20 min by bus from Puerto de la Cruz. This is a very lively and also quiet hostel, centrally located and perfect for those who want to explore the Nordic coast and its villages, or go hiking to the Vulcan Teide. Elias is a wonderful and kind host with great love for the island and its culture!

It was a great experience how the mood of the hostel is. I met many travellers interested in nature and had a great time. The rooms are quite large and have single beds, which is much nicer then the double beds that are there in most of the hostels. It is very easy to go around in public transport and the host is knowledge with helpful insights for the whole island. I already booked my next stay there :)
