Casa de las Artes Hotel was absolutely exceptional! The design was breathtaking - every corner was so thoughtfully curated and incredibly aesthetic. Everything was so clean, and I loved the custom body creams and care products from a local brand. The hotel provided every amenity imaginable, from dental kits to beautifully designed glasses for coffee, wine, and water. My room was sunny and spacious. The bed was super comfortable, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the room was impressive. You should have seen the restaurant (a separate piece of art and luxury!). The staff was warm and attentive! Special thanks to Paola, for her amazing friendly support! I cannot recommend this place enough - it’s a hidden gem I’ll definitely return to!

Everything was amazing!

If it were possible to give a rating of six (6) stars, I would. Everyone - from reception to dining - was gracious, the food - breakfast and dinner - was nothing short of excellent, and the decor was both pleasant and interesting. Loved the refreshing lap pool and sauna. Plenty of available work spaces for individuals and groups. And did I say anything about location, location, location? For us, for our four-night stay and what we wanted to do in our first visit to Madrid, this hotel had it all. - "Destination Dave"

Nothing.

Great location. Near Prado, Retiro park, Slamanca on one side and a 15-20min walk towards the Gran Via, Plaza Mayor area on the other side. Breakfast was great, not a large variety of meals but quite sufficient in choice and tasty. We tried the restaurant in the afternoon as well, also was wonderful. Staff very polite and helpful. Loved the complimentary drinks in the bar upon the arrival. Gym is great, clean and well equipped; opet 0-24h. Really loved this part. Room was maintained twice a day, regular cleaning and evening turnover with chocolates on the bed and complimentary water bottles on the bedside.

All was fine. Would suggest to keep more attention on the bathroom cleaning.

Location, beautiful interior (library, bar), breakfast, swimming pool and sauna

Standard rooms have a small window overlooking the inner courtyard, which means it feels like a room with no windows, dark and not cosy. The bathroom is small and very basic, does not feel like a 4 star hotel bathroom, more like a hostel bathroom. The room was not cleaned once (even though I left the sign « please make up my room » outside). There is a wine glass in the room but no wine in the minibar. But these are of course the small things that did not spoil my stay, yet this is what one expects for the pricetag

The breakfast had many choices in the buffet. Nice pastries, fresh juices, fruit and cappuccino. You were also given a choice to order one dish from the menu. The omelet was delicious but the waffle was hard and didn’t taste fresh. The pool was beautiful and they had a nice sauna. There was complimentary glass bottles of mineral water in the room daily. They had umbrellas available for use during a rainy morning. Welcoming staff.

There was a convention during our stay so we were asked to avoid the lobby walk-through to leave or get to the pool. We were instructed to go through the restaurant to leave the hotel and get to the elevator to return. The library and movie theatre were closed to guests not with the convention.

This is a fantastic hotel in a fabulous location. We walked to everything we wanted to see or do from the hotel. The staff are just lovely and so friendly and want to be sure you are happy and comfortable. We had an issue with our room not being ready at check-in and the staff went above and beyond to compensate for the delay. The breakfasts are probably the best we've ever experienced in any hotel - so much choice and so delicious. (The breakfast staff even remember your coffee order the next day.) And again, the location can't be beat. The rooms are also soundproof -- a bonus in a city known for its loud and late nightlife. We're so glad we chose to stay at this mid-size boutique hotel. It is beautifully re-done and decorated, and the bed was so comfortable. Can't say enough good things about it!

The only minor drawback is that there aren't many drawers for putting clothes away. And the closet isn't a traditional closet in that it is open and visible. This just means that you have to be more organized with your clothes so you don't create a messy room.

The breakfast and staff were absolutely wonderful. Very helpful staff in the dining room and kind - even at busy breakfast times at the weekend. The housekeeping staff were also very pleasant - ensuring our room was fresh. We were very appreciative of the nightly bottled water placed by the beds. Guest relations were charming and keen to help.

Unfortunately the hotel does not have air conditioning - or so we were told by reception. We did turn on what we thought was air conditioning on the first night and it heated the room. Not a problem at the time of year we were visiting but could be an issue in the hotter months.

Set in a charming historic building, the hotel has recently undergone renovations and has been tastefully decorated. The entrance, the library with many art books, and the hotel restaurant are simply stunningly beautiful. Feel like you are in a palace! The room is beautiful and stylish, but small and impractically tidy (a large sink between the entrance and bed, outside the bathroom) Excellent and courteous, professional and loyal staff, take care of the hospitality with all their heart. Apart from the morning arrangement of the room, every evening they come again to tidy up, and put a bottle of water and chocolate on the pillow, with a designed card. On the first day, despite the official opening being held at the hotel, the staff took care of everything that was lacking and greeted us with a birthday greeting, champagne, and fruit. Thanks to Patricia from the Guest Experience department, who ensured our satisfaction with the room and was kind and helpful. The spa pool is beautiful and new, and so is the gym. The pool also has jacuzzi jets, a damp sauna, and a dry sauna. Everything is beautifully decorated. The breakfast options are excellent, diverse, and of the highest quality, served in a beautiful restaurant. Without a doubt, the most beautiful hotel in Madrid. Thank you for the perfect hospitality.

Excellent location. We booked a premium room for three nights; it was very nice, but it was a bit smaller than we had expected. The bar/breakfast area was beautiful and grand - kind of like a big museum room. Plaza Mayor and Plaza del Sol were each less than a 15-minute walk through fascinating neighborhoods. There were a lot of cool restaurants nearby. Museo del Prado was less than 15-minute walk to the east. I would return.

Excellent location, near the main art galleries and a very useful library of art books available to guests. Breakfast was very good and served in wonderful surroundings. Room was very clean, well-equipped and the shower was perfect.

I had to request another room because the first was noisy and too warm. This room was close to the restaurant and I could hear the music, service and clearing up at the end of the evening. The hotel moved me, at their earliest opportunity, to a significantly quieter room but I had already had two poor night’s sleep which was disappointing.
