I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure every need was met with a smile. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel truly welcome. The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to all major attractions. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, you'll find everything you need within walking distance, including fantastic restaurants, shops, and cultural sites. The hotel has been decorated beautifully, a blend of modern luxury with historical charm including a gorgeous library. I can see it would be a great place to come with my company and for group events as well. Very comfortable bed too. And finally the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Fresh, fine ingredients and fruits in the buffet with the option of ordering eggs individually prepared with your own preference and even your own tortilla de patata.

I liked everything, the internal swimming pool was not ready yet but am looking forward to going back when it is finalised.

We loved the whole vibe of the hotel. The staff were very attentive and professional throughout our stay. We even got a personal tour of the facilities on our arrival. The location and design of the building is superb and we loved heading back ( home) after a day out sightseeing. It’s classy from check in to check out.

Nothing much. Although there seemed to be a lot of noisy doors and heavy footsteps in the corridor outside our room. Some carpet and some door closers should be ordered I reckon. Small point but you did ask.

Nice comfortable room and bed. Delicious and extensive breakfast buffet in a lovely dining area. Very convenient to get to - right at a Metro stop.

Hotel Madrid Atocha was great - especially as a solo female traveler. The room was lovely!! The front desk staff helped me to navigate a nail salon, laundry facilities, markets, etc. They had security at the front door 24/7. My Spanish is questionable at best and everyone greeted in Spanish, but switched to English when I started to struggle in Spanish. Unlike other locations, I appreciated that they let me try my Spanish speaking (until it was unproductive) without judgement. The breakfast buffet was expansive! Fruit, yogurt, tons of pastries, eggs, quiche, churros, juices, milk, coffee/espresso. I would 100% stay here again. It was also walking distance to so many great things (Retiro Park, Museo del Prado, restaurants, bars, metro).

The amazing service, from the moment we arrived to when we left. We were shown around the hotel upon arrival, explaining the history of the building. The hotel is very special.

The only suggestion I would make is (and this is not a criticism), maybe some drinking water in the pool area for after a sauna?

Ok rooms. Excellent breakfast. Near the metro station which is literally in front of the building, and just blocks away from the Atocha station. Great bathrooms. Super helpful staff. Option to leave baggage before check in and after check out. Great building overall, which seems to have been an old mansion in other times.

Rooms are not soundproof. I’d wake up because of people screaming on weekend nights. I could also hear people moving in the hallway. Also a bit pricey.

The location is excellent, in very close proximity to the main sights of Madrid, the "downtown" area (ie. Plaza del Sol) and with plenty of food and drink options reasonably close. The rooms are quite spacious and well furnished, and so are the bathrooms.

The only thing we disliked was the location of the room. There were no alternatives and thus we were given a ground floor room, which let in quite a bit of noise from the lobby. I'd suggest you soundproof the ground floor corridor.

Great location. Room was clean, modern, perfect for a stop-over stay while traveling.

The hotel really needs to increase the quality of the breakfast - 2 hot options, one of which were the low quality hotdog sausages bought at the supermarket. If more options were offered, including vegetable options, it would go a long way.

We were surprised to be upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking the teraccota roofs, and had a cold bottle of bubbly waiting for us when we arrived. It was so lovely of the staff to make such an effort after I told them it was our anniversary and I requested a less noisy room. Thank you for taking care of us so well, we really enjoyed our stay!
