I loved the decor and amenities. It was quiet and I slept well. The bed was comfy and the shower was very large. Having cutlery was very useful. The staff was very nice and it was clean. I walked everywhere from the hotel to visit the museums and parks. It’s a convenient location and safe. I walked back late at night after going Latin dancing and felt safe.

I was expecting the bath mat to be changed as it got dirty but it didn’t and was just folded back instead. The toilet paper is very thin and runs out very quickly. It would be useful to have two spares in the room. A tea towel or kitchen paper could be useful too as I couldn’t dry my hands after doing the dishes and had to go to the bathroom to use the towels.

Staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. We asked for one thing to be fixed in our room and it was done the same day. Bed was extremely comfortable. Location was great, nearby tapas Bar Gerard was really good, short walk to metro and to hub of La Latina

To be top notch, a few little extras would help (eg) more than 2 coffee capsules, more than 2 pieces of crockery & cutlery. A bit annoying that the tv turned on automatically when the keycard was inserted every time we came into the room. TV didn't appear to have a channel menu that told you what was on so lots of scrolling to find anything if you wanted to watch tv. We had a balcony on our room which would have been great if it hadn't rained all the time we were in Madrid so we never actually used it.

The location is good, and the hotel was good & clean

I arrived late for check-in due to a flight delay. Before I got there, the host had already charged my credit card. However, when I arrived, he insisted on being paid in cash and refunded the card transaction. Because of that, I ended up losing the credit card commission fee, which wasn’t fair to me as a guest. It felt like the host wanted to avoid paying Booking.com’s commission, and the whole interaction was uncomfortable. We argued for a while but couldn’t reach an agreement. Overall, I didn’t appreciate how the payment was handled—it left a very negative impression.

Newly refurbished apart-hotel, all the fixtures and fittings were new and in good condition, the bed was very comfy. I loved the location in La Latina, a short walk from ‘tapas street’ and the metro and it was easy to walk into the old town and many of the main tourist sites. It is short-stay apartments not a hotel so the service reflects that, e.g.rooms are not not cleaned daily unless you request it - personally I have no problem with that, rooms do not need cleaning daily and therefore it keeps the price lower.

The only heating was through the air con system, which although it has a heating function was not that effective/efficient and only operates when you are in the room (with the key card in the slot to make the electricity work) which meant it took quite a while to heat the room when coming back in the evening. I appreciate this isn’t an issue for most of the year. Could do with a shelf in the bathroom to put your things on and likewise in the shower.

We absolutely loved our time here! We stayed in a Superior Double Room designed like a studio, with a spacious bedroom, a large bathroom, a small kitchenette, and even a little hallway with a dressing area. The room was clean, quiet (facing the inner courtyard), and had everything you need for a few days: stovetop, mini-fridge, microwave, AC, etc. The bed and pillows were super comfy, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring and a concert in the evening. The location is great – a safe area, just a 15-minute walk to the Royal Palace, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. There’s also a Dia supermarket about 5 minutes away, which was super convenient. And if you’re heading to a concert at La Riviera, it’s just a 20-minute walk – super easy! We appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check-out, and the fact that check-out is until 12:00 PM – such a nice perk! Special thanks (y un abrazo) to Javi for being so friendly and welcoming. Bottom line – we highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Madrid!

Good location. Excellent staff at Reception, very friendly and efficient. The room was small but comfortable, the bed was very comfortable. The small coffee machine was a nice touch.

We arrived late at night, actually after midnight, in december and when we entered the room, it was cold, as there was no heating or AC working It took some time for the room to get comfortably warmed up. On the booking form we have advised ahead of time about our late arrival and the AC could have been put on ahead of it to ensure comfortable temperatures on guest'arrival. The AC unit was making a strange creeking noise. It was not too loud and did not bother during the day, but st night time it was not pleasant. In

Very nice kitchenette, including nesoressoncoffee maker, and an electric kettle for heating water. Updated bath with plenty of hot water and water power. Excellent Taft arranged all my local transportation(taxis, and a house shuttle was scheduled for train station and airport.

Noise at night especially weeekends from bar next door. But it wasn’t rowdy, just sounds of voices having an enjoyable evening. It didn’t keeeo me awake but occasionally interrupted my sleep. It stopped around 2 am. There wre early morning garbage trucks but this is city life.

Very clean and modern. Apartment had everything you needed. Upmarket toiletries which was a nice touch. Room was very comfortable and decorated nicely. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t help enough. Especially Isaac who welcomed us warmly and gave us a whole list of recommendations. We did get room service and were extremely impressed with the price and quality of the food.

There was only a couple things that stopped it being a 10/10. The first is that the air conditioning was very loud, a very loud rattling sound which meant we couldn’t sleep with it on. The second is that it is a lovely area below the hotel, so there was noise until late at night - 3am both nights we stayed. So it wasn’t the best nights sleep but saying that we still felt rested just disturbed a few times through the night.

Very good location, 10 minutes' walk from Plaza Mayor, all the most interesting tourist sights (including museums) within walking distance, but also a metro station nearby; plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around. Spacious, clean, quiet room. Very comfortable bed, very good pillows and linen, spacious wardrobe with several hangers. Useful mini-kitchen, large bathroom with quality towels but without storage space. Very kind and friendly staff, notable Isaac who speaks French; all team very helpful, they provided us with a kettle and an iron upon request, they assisted us with professionalism on the check-in / check-out, taxi transfers and info regarding scenic walking routes. Thank you! Hope to return one day!

Wi-Fi didn't work the first few days; after confirming that the problem was fixed, the Wi-Fi still had very bad quality.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were quick to help us when we needed help with our blinds. They were nice and made great conversation with us. Their recommendations for breakfast and dinner places near the hotel and around Plaza Mayor were wonderful. The location is very easy to call a taxi from using Cabify and is also very accessible. There are grocery stores within walking distance. The airport pickup is also very affordable and efficient. Walking around the area, La Latina, is fantastic and beautiful—Plaza Mayor is just nearby too. The hotel room itself is quite spacious and the balcony is charming. The fridge is big and the kitchenette has a microwave. Overall, it was well worth the price given that it was very affordable.

This is not the hotel’s fault, but for (almost) our entire stay the wifi was down. If we didn’t have roaming enabled, this would have complicated a lot of things. There was no toothpaste. The photos don’t completely match the room’s appearance but nothing too drastic. You can also hear voices and sounds from other rooms and from outside, although it was not too loud.
