Restaurants in Palencia closed Sunday evening, had to have a very dodgy Burger King. Very disappointing, 3rd time we've been to Palencia on our way back to the ferry at Santander as it's a convenient stop off point but will be making other arrangements next time. Hotel great, Palencia disappointing.

Friendly welcome, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Reception lady was so friendly that at times she would engage in long conversations causing some waiting time for others. Very helpful however.

Parking in the garage is only recommended with a small to mid-size car and otherwise prepare for a bit of stress trying to get a longer car safely through the narrow passages down to level -2. I was also a bit disappointed that the hotel advertises having a restaurant which then appears not to be open in the evening, which is one of the reasons I had chosen the hotel as a stopover on a long trip, hoping not to have to go out again in the evening.

Easy to find, a small hotel of approximately 30 rooms, had everything it had advertised. we arrived on a Sunday evening but were directed by the very helpful staff to a nearby square where we found a bar serving dinner and to my husband’s delight showing a football match. Great downtime for him after a 6 hour drive. To cap it all the square was the location of Palencia Cathedral which we had time to visit before we left. Fascinating place and very beautiful.

The only issue was that all information was in Spanish. Would have really helped if there had been some in English.

The location is perfect for the town. Breakfast was a buffet which exceeded our expectations. We struggled to find the hotel as the name was not outside, purely the fact that it was a hotel. Parking was a problem - we had requested a parking space at a cost which was fine but on arrival were told that the car park was not suitable for larger cars so we had to park on the street. This in itself was not a problem except it was a fair walk as there are very limited spaces close to the hotel.

Good breakfast and were able to provide for my special dietary needs. I loved the view from my room of the cats 🐈 on the street (Calle los Gatos) and the police squad there every morning gave it some extra character.

The toilet cistern in the room next door was left running by the guests while they went out until midnight. The staff weren’t very helpful at all in fixing the problem which left a constant noise in my room. Hopefully they will get that toilet fixed in future.

Location: you can walk to the rail station, river and city centre. The light, airy (superior) room, breakfast, friendly staff, and general ambience of the hotel. We have stayed here before and would stay again.

The minimalist nature of the furnishing meant few places to hang and store clothes. This was not a problem for our one night stay, but it might be if you were staying for several nights and travel with much luggage.

Location was great and car park was fairly easy to access (although like nearly all Spanish hotel car parks, the car parks are very narrow so it required a bit of manouvering to park even with a small car.

Only issue was that on check-in, one of the staff gave us room key 203 when they should have given us room key 303. This resulted in another guest being given the second key to our room (203) and he was opening the door to come in when I was getting changed. The hotel didn't seem too concerned about the mix-up even after I raised it with them. They just said it was a mistake. My concern would be what if we hadn't been in our room when the other guest entered and something went missing - who would sort that out.

The hotel was really modern with beautiful interior design and furniture. I really like the color combination. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The location is close to the city center and bus stop, a calm and quiet place as well. The place was really clean.

The pillows were not comfortable. It was flat and lacked fluffiness. We didn't have a lot for breakfast. It was a first come first serve basis than a mini buffet. I would have liked it more if they refilled at least a little for those clients who haven't had theirs.

Friendly professional reception staff & cleaning staff members. Good set menu for lunch at a reasonable price. Spacious room with relaxing green walls. Big television set. Great location near the river, the Cathedral and the Church of San Miguel. Reasonable value. It's my fourth stay within a lapse of time of eleven months and one knows what the stay is going to be like before you get there because it is a reliable hotel.

The room was brand new, modern and beautiful. I specially loved the green walls as that shade of green was relaxing. The white shower room was really nice, the bed was confortable and the television was huge. There were lots of pleasant details in the room and there were many lights and lamps that you could adapt to your needs. The writing desk and the chair were useful and one could spend a long time writing. The room was good value even though breakfast was not included. The young staff members at the reception desk were friendly and extremely helpful. Location was great as well because the hotel was five minutes far from the cathedral on foot.

I am very tall and my feet got out of bed easily while I was sleeping. The room was a double room but it was just okay for one person, I cannot imagine two people sharing the room for five nights. The room was on the ground floor of the hotel and some noise was heard from the street from time to time even though the hotel was in a quiet side street.
