It is rare that I am so euphoric about a hotel in particular as I have worked as a hotel tester for many years, however, this hotel is so personable. It’s clean relaxed and definable boutique. The team were able to resolve all our small requests at a speed I have not seen from many leading hotels.

If there was one thing that could be improved it is only the amount of table top space in the room for a long stay. We were there for a week and did accumulate a lot of stuff, so if shopping is not your thing don’t worry there is enough for you.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Basilica to celebrate our anniversary and my partner’s birthday. I truly couldn’t have picked a better hotel. We arrived on Thursday morning and were too early for check-in but we were still greeted warmly with a drink on arrival and access to the pool until we could see our room. The location is nestled in a narrow street in the old town of Palma and is in walking distance to explore around the shops, the cathedral, palace and restaurants (La Paloma was our favourite). We had breakfast at the hotel each day which was an array of fruit, sweet puddings, hot food, pancakes and pastries. The rooftop terrace is a great part of the hotel with views over the city. We enjoyed cocktails up there in the evening and cooling down in the pool during the daytime too. We would like to thank all the lovely people who work at Hotel Basilica, everyone is incredibly polite and did everything to make our stay a memorable one. We can’t wait to visit again one day!

Hotel Basilica was one of the best hotels we have stayed at during our overseas trip. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful, professional and genuine. They could not have been more lovely. The hotel itself has such a lovely intimate and stylish vibe. Gorgeous rooms, views, pool, cocktails, breakfast, location..the list goes on and on.

Nothing, anything that was a query or a wee issue was quickly sorted so swiftly you cannot fault this hotel. I would totally recommend Hotel Basilica and if we stay in Palma again I would stay there. So lovely, it was a highlight of our stay in Palma

Service, location, and room, were all excellent, a very modern hotel blended to the historic palma old town seamlessly. Really at the heart of old town, and perfect for a short getaway, to shop and see the sights of Palma city, which is undoubtedly a truly beautiful place. As with all these types of hotels, the staff play a key role in making your stay a real pleasure. And Hotel Basilica has a fantastic team working to make your stay perfect, from the moment you arrive. We loved everything, but don't stay here for the pool, it is small and busy. But yes there is a pool on the roof!

We received the friendliest welcome we've ever had when checking into a Hotel! (as well as the offer of a lovely welcome drink). The Hotel is spotless, the room was as described on the website and the breakfast was lovely in a stunning room with a beautiful arched roof (& again the friendliest breakfast person ever). The Hotel is right next to the Basilica (but there are no early morning bells) and just around the corner from the centre of town and a v.short walk to sights such as the amazing Cathedral.

More storage would have been nice - i.e., drawers (or a taller wardrobe to be able to hang trousers/dresses)

What a fabulous hotel. From the moment we arrived and were treated to complimentary glasses of Cava, Miguel and his staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Just the right level of discreet professional service. Everything about our stay at Hotel Basillica was first rate, from the charming room to the superb breakfasts, nothing was too much trouble. Deciding to take a trip to the beach one afternoon, we were provided with not only beach towels, but beach bags and a sunshade parasol. Special thanks to staff members Benny and Blanca, who were such lovely people we felt we’d left behind some close friends. We will definitely return.

The only improvement would have been some more drawer storage space in the room.

The location of this hotel is amazing, right in the centre of old town and within minutes (walking) of many of the sites you will want to see. There are so many restaurants, bars, shops, art galleries, you will be hard pressed to take them all in. The service level is exceptional, very small hotel feel, and the rooms are beautiful. It exceeded my expectations in all areas. If you are traveling alone, as I was, the staff are very attentive to you to ensure you feel included in meals and know areas to visit, sites to see.

It was a bit hard to find at first as signage is not significant and vehicles are restricted in the area, however my taxi driver gave me great directions for the 10meter walk from the square :-).

The hotel was stunning! Everything about the hotel was beautiful, the smell was Devine on arrival! The room was beautiful and was beautifully decorated and very clean. The view looking out to the church was beautiful. The roof top terrace had outstanding views. The breakfast was delicious, they offered to make us omelettes and it was perfect! You are in the centre of the old town, but enough distance away to have a tranquil stay. I would highly recommend the train ride to Sóller, again walking distance to the train station. We was celebrating a big birthday and I will have the memories of staying at this beautiful hotel for life! It was just stunning. Thank you for making a stay special.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike about this hotel. Please don’t take notice of the negative comments! I would return to this hotel in a flash! It was incredible ❤️

I loved this hotel! - Amazing staff, Blanca took really good care of us and made our welcome better, in spite of the fact that my luggage was lost at the airport; - The hotel is very nicely decorated, the rooms have a good size, water pressure is good, beds are comfortable; - The breakfast is exceptional! they have a huge variety to chose from; - The hotel bar and the garden are very nice and it's a pleasure to spend time there.

- the rooftop pool is very small, as mentioned in the other comments, but the view from the roof is beautiful!
