Hotel is better then we have expected. It is solid 3-star hotel, with very pleasant staff and excellent hospitality. Room was adequate, nothing fancy, but very clean with very good bed and new sheets. Bathroom was also clean. We had a room with a lake view and quite large balcony. It is 5 minutes (on foot) from the lake and beginning of pedestrian area. You get free bus tickets, so you can use the bus to get back. This is a great plus and it is a very nice touch from the hotel. We were in hotel for 2 days, so breakfast was more then good enough. Food quality was excellent and selection was expected for hotel of that size. All on all very good experience.

I really enjoyed my stay here, so I booked this hotel again when returning to Lugano. The first time I had a single room right next to the elevator, you could hear it a little bit of noise but not intrusive, just some cloinking of the elevator shaft in the morning. The second time I stayed, I had a bigger single room, the economy single room in the pictures, which was very nice. The rooms are equipped with anything you may need, WiFi is good, airconditioning works well, very comfortable space to stay in. 5 minute walk to the lake. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is nice, make sure to find a table outside during breakfast, to enjoy the view.

The water cookers seem a bit old, but they do work. In one of the single rooms that I stayed in, I couldn't find the light in the bathroom, but maybe that's just me.

Room was clean and comfortable for one person. Staff were friendly. Tea/coffe maker was awesome. About location is a bit far from center, almost 10 minutes walk to center, 10 minutes to train and 5 minutes to lake by walk but with Ticino ticket, you are close to everywhere.

-Refrigerator/minibar was not working in a room. -Air conditioner is central and you cannot change the temprature and it was hot sometimes. -As other commemts mentioned breakfast was so poor even doesn’t any Bread tongs or for having cheese or ham

The room had complete facilities, and a shower like I asked for. There was a small balcony perfect for summer evenings. Breakfast was great, with both savory and some sweet options. The coffee was great, there was American coffee and an espresso machine. The hotel is located just above the city center and a bus is in front of the door. There's a roof top terrace where one can order food and drinks as well.

Breakfast was amazing. Dining room was excellent. Above all the service was 5 star….from the lovely lady at the front desk, to the restaurant staff to the breakfast attendant was beyond reproach. The staff here are very happy and eager to please. It is not a high end hotel but it’s beyond high end in service and attitude. We stayed 2x and would stay again if we return to Lugano. Xxxxx

It was a comfortable hotel, with parking at 10Fr out the back, and the owner/manageress is very friendly and welcoming, bringing me a cappuccino as I waited for my room to be ready. The room was not large but adequate, and the window had to be closed to cut the traffic noise, though there was air conditioning. Breakfast was good, copious, and could be eaten on an outdoor terrace with a view.

If you don't have a satellite-navigator or a good map, the streets can be confusing, but that is not the hotel's fault, as it is on a major street and has a big sign.

A good budget hotel, which is located a little away from the city center inside the urban area, but everything is within walking distance. Polite and friendly staff. The breakfast is quite simple but you won't go hungry.

The number furnishings is fairly old, although the numbers themselves are clean. View from the windows to neighboring buildings. There is no hot dishes for breakfast (for example, fried eggs or sausages).

It was close to the train station with a bus right outside the door. There was a lift to the room. A large room with all the facilities needed. Staff were excellent and there was a restaurant onsite. Great value for money paid

A perfect location near the train station, the heart of the city, and ofcourse the beautiful Lake Lugano! The staffs are very friendly and ready to help. A large balcony with a view to the city, the lake and the mountain.

The TV Channels (from 1 to 100 Italian and french). There might be a channel list somewhere (we didn't find). To find English or German news channels it took us time. But this is a very minor thing.

Bike friendly hotel. We were able to leave our bikes safely. Very friendly staff. The hotel is close to the lake and close to the train station. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel
