I like everything here. The food was great, variety to choose. They have fitness and some course like Pilates that need booking. Our rooms have sofa bed it was big and as nice as the main one. Only the entrance of the room is a bit cramp. The receptionist was nice, he recommended a place to eat and visit that we get the best experience we have. He also recommended Unplug Zermatt festival, sadly we didn't go.

Nothing really, everything was better than we expect. If it were to be one thing that would be the price of this Hotel is the most expensive throughout our trip since it's Zermatt, everything is expensive here.

The hotel is in the heart of Zermatt and is nestled in a quiet area with a stunning mountain range view. The staff was very friendly and informative from the first time we entered to the last day. What sets this property from others in the immediate areas is that they have a special entrance and private storage area for your ski equipment. After a full day of skiing, the metallic pool is modern in design, and the in-pool lounge seating with bubbles helped our muscles relax. The breakfast area is well organized, and the service is excellent. The main lobby has a warm fireplace and lounge area that is very inviting. Steps from the main entrance, there are so many options to shop and restaurants to choose from, and eclectic taxi shuttles are abundant and available within seconds of thinking you need one. There are several well-stocked grocery stores nearby that were convenient to use. We particularly loved the winding path to and from the hotel property, which was super easy to walk and picturesque. Overall, we plan to return as the experience as an experienced traveler was outstanding!

The location is super convenient, located the nearest to Zermatt station which is just right across the road after alighting. The ambience and architecture are well designed. Staffs are super friendly, always greeting you with a smile. Remember to go to the bar and speak with the female bartender call Miss Lanka; super chatty. I cant bear the leave this hotel after a 3 nights stay and I will strongly recommend this hotel to ALL travellers to Zermatt. They really really did a great job!!

Hotel is located few minutes walk from the station. Room was nice, large enough. The room comes with a fridge (free water refilled everyday) and a large bathroom. Very clean and quiet. The CBD spa looks new and is beautiful. Fruits, CBD biscuits, a large selection of tea and water, lemon/mint water, dried banana and coconut are offered. There are 2 saunas, 2 steam baths, one ice room and multiple CBD breeze showers. Not suitable for kids.

The bed was too soft though. If you have back problems I wouldn’t recommend it. We asked for harder pillows, the reception was very kind and brought them to our room.

Great breakfast chill atmosphere great staff. The pool is great swam laps in the am and it’s near the lift and train. Do you need a taxi to get to mountainside parties? Yes. But if you don’t know your way around it’s near the main train near lifts ski rentals and walking in the main village area It’s a solid introduction to the mountain - might be perfect spot for you.

Need Evening snacks small bites sandwich’s nuts fruit chips. Dinner not available in the hotel breakfast only.

Loved the proximity to all things Zermatt, including the train station, restaurants, and Matterhorn activities. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was extremely large, especially by European hotel standards. We truly appreciated having a washer and dryer after two weeks of travel. Our room also had a wraparound balcony with views of the Matterhorn. We definitely would stay there again!

I liked everything about this hotel! Even though there was no AC, we opened all the windows to let in the fresh mountain air at night. However, Booking.com should stop listing AC as an amenity when there is none. We found this to be the case at most of the hotels during our three-week trip.

This is our second time staying! Location of the property is fab! Very close to the train station so arrival and departure is so easy! Hotel is very clean with a beautiful mix of modern and chalet style decor. Staff were very attentive and obliging. The pool is a great facility. Generous breakfast options available.

We did have robes in the room but did not have slippers to wear down to the pool, and we had not brought our own flip flops, small detail but other guests had slippers. The spa opens quite late on a Sunday morning so you don’t have an opportunity to experience it on Sunday morning before check out.

Wow. It was amazing. We booked standard rooms but even though we get room with Matterhorn view. Hotel's localization is just more then perfect. 5min from train station, you don't even need to use taxi you can get to hotel by short walk. It's almost on main street so you are close to everything. Rooms are spaciouse and very comfortable with big bathroom with tube and shower in one. However there was no iron in room but it was that important. Staff is very polite and helpful they always keep smiling. Breakfast had veriuse of choise they have swiss cheese and ham it was deliciouse There is a lot more to list. Over Expectation !! We booked Boutique Junior Suite in Modern Style Room 35sqm but they upgrade to Luxury Suite 80sqm for us. Love it a lot Hotel's localization is just more then perfect. 2minute walk from train station, no need to catch the taxi. Rooms are spaciouse and very comfortable with big bathroom with tube and shower in one. All Staff are always keep smiling with many of helpful information Cute Breakfast room with delicious food Our stay in SchlossHotel was perfect it was really good choise to book accomodation here. Traveled with my husband, son and his girlfriend. Stayed in the Boutique Family Room, which was essentially a 2BR/2BA with a small siting area. Wonderful! Rustic charm, good space and high-end finishes. Very clean. Also had a partial Matterhorn view from balcony. The hotel itself is well situated- a few min walk from the train station, but down a small path and removed from the hustle and bustle of the main drag. Nice to be close to train station if carrying bags/skis. Not sketchy at all- some might think bc it is near the train station- there is nothing sketchy in Zermatt, period. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Used the pool, which is also beautiful. Desk and brkfast room staff were very friendly and helpful- helped with dinner reservations and also gave good advice for things we wanted to do. We enjoyed a glass of wine from the lobby bar in front of lobby fireplace one evening before heading out to dinner. Expensive, but there are not many deals in Zermatt. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend!

The only complaint was that one BR was rather hot in the beginning- we figured out mid-way thru our stay that there is a huge hallway radiator on the other side of the wall (to heat the hallway). which we took it upon ourselves to turn down (there was only 1 other room besides ours that used this hallway). This fixed the problem. In the hotel's defense, we never brought it up to them.
