Decor beautiful , hot tub fantastic ,everything you could possibly need in the lodge , very nice equipment ,beds very comfortable , loved the jacuzzi bath , very peaceful site , Went to a lovely pub just down the road and had a gorgeous meal

The only little niggle was the decking wasn't very clean ,could have been swept and windows were dirty , also around the hot tub could have been cleaner , there was no brush or hoover in lodge for us to sweep or clean so we bought a brush and gave inside a sweep before we left . But like i said it didn't spoil our stay loved it overall

Location, dining area, table in terrace and near the hot tub.

Hot tub bubbles didn't work properly, toilet in big bathroom didn't have proper water flow, tried to lowered down the temperature in the lodge but was keeping up therefore was extremely hot in both bathrooms. Not many utensils in the kitchen. At the entry was sign "take of your shoes" so we walked without shoes and our foot were so black which means the properly floors weren't mopped up for a long time. Bedding sheets had some stains on which not very pleasant to see, shower head was very dirty. Lights outside next to hot tub didn't work properly too, there was gas barbecue in the back of the lodge but no instructions how to use it.

It was spacious enough for a family, whilst still having a cosy feel to it. The hot tub was amazing and lovely on a night with a sky full of stars. Lots of things to do nearby, and in the ‘welcome folder’ there was lots of leaflets if guests needed ideas for anywhere to go. Owner was very helpful, answered any questions quickly, and also checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was okay. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again. It was a lovely winter get away to relax and enjoy the peace after a hectic Christmas and new year.

Lovely lodge ,very cosy and the addition of the hot tub a bonus.

Lots of little things that could be mentioned before arrival, no clear directions to find the lodge, the heating system difficult to use, the oven has its quirks and difficult to turn on as no ignition spark, no bulb in the fire to turn it on and no glass allowed in the hot tub but no plastic glasses provided (we would have packed our own if we knew). All things that have been mentioned previously in the guest book by others that have stayed and not acted on. Just a few little things that could easily be sorted and aid for the perfect stay

Beautiful location and lodge was lovely ,hot tub was a great

Lodge was grubby in areas and could do with some maintenance. Mattresses in kids bedroom need replacing as you can feel the springs and the lid on the hot tub needs replacing .Under the main bed was dirty and could have been cleaned properly. The hot tub filter hadn't been cleaned in 9 days when we were there .

The Lodge was comfortable and had everything we needed the garden furniture on both the front and side decking was amazing when the sun come out. Had a issuie with the hot tub when arrived and Alex was really helpful calling us.

The boiler went off at 11am and wasn’t put back on until 5pm so we where left unable to shower or use the heating for 6 hours everything else was perfect.

PhoThe location. Such a beautiful part of the world. The lodge itself was lovely, a slight misunderstanding ( albeit on my behalf) would not have me booking this lodge for 4 adults, but we had a great time. Bedroom one is gorgeous, so much space and storage, just watch your toes on the bed legs, ouch!! And the en suite bathroom was cute with a great shower. The bed was very comfy. Bedroom 2 however, def more suited to younger people. Firstly, its tiny, really really tiny, with no room whatsoever in between the two not particularly comfy beds and standing room only at the foot of said beds for one person at a time. Perfect for children perhaps, but a little challenging for 2 adults. The second bathroom was lovely, with a full size bath with over shower. The kitchen was smart and functional, the coffee machine a nice extra. The living room was very nice, but again more suited for two adults as a three seat sofa and one chair made for inline seating rather than a preferred relaxing scenario of maybe a chair each, and a sofa for two. We travelled as a group of two married couples. The camp site was blissfully quiet. The hot tub was great, but natural cleanliness and maintenance meant that it wasn't really hot enough by the time we wanted to use it. When we did use it, it was lovely. The tub itself had issues, again nobodies fault, but the owner was quick to attend and rectify the problem. It did however mean that day two and another refill meant the tub struggling to reach a desired temp in time for the evening. I would def visit this lodge again, but only as two adults, not 4, and i would def book again but treat the hot tub as a bonus not a reason. The owners were lovely and very attentive. Nothing in my review should be taken as a negative, we had a great time, but wish we had booked the larger lodge for extra comfort. The lodge we stayed in is not the one in the leading photograph.

It may sleep 4, but at a squeeze. We would have liked another comfy chair in the lounge, but we adapted by using a patio chair and every cushion in sight. Same cushions were then used to pad out the bedroom two mattresses. The hot tub. Nobodies fault and shouldn't dissuade you from booking, but bear in mind that newly cleaned and refilled the hot tub may not reach anything other than warmish bath temp by the end of the first evening.
