Great location, efficient communications via text. Comfortable room and bed. Luxurious feel to the decor. It fulfilled all my requirements for my visit.

I worked for a b&b so please hear the following as helpful facts and advice not a complaint, as know unless we were told about things we weren't always aware. I think the shower room could do with a little update, shower rooms get mould with usage and time but perhaps is starting to show wear and tear, especially in the shower door runners etc. Plug didn't fit the basin. Bottom panels on inside of toilet door could do with a good clean, think they have been missed for several guests the other panels were fine.

The guest house was a stones throw from the high street and had a small parking space at the back. The room was spacious with plenty of room for luggage and it had a good size bathroom with storage space. There were good mirrors and shelves in the room too. It was very cold for June but I messaged Tracy to ask for the heating to be put on a bit longer and she actually gave us an electric heater for our room which was perfect. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The shower and sink drained very slowly.

There was no Breakfast but the room was really comfortable with tea and coffee facilities which is a bonus. The location is really good all within walking distance Alnwick is such a beautiful place to visit .

There was a wobbly cold tap in the bathroom maybe the shower curtain could be replaced also one of the bedroom drawers was filled with biscuit wrappers which I put in the bin apart from that it was a really comfy room .We never seen any staff but our room was cleaned while we stayed and there were mobile numbers and a landline number to ring if you had any problems.

Location was great, very close to the Alnwick Playhouse, 2 real ale pubs, a lovely Italian restaurant. And in easy walking distance of everything Alnwick has to offer. There is a small parking space on the premises and a free carpark round the corner. We had problems with arrival time due to family illness, and Tracy was great at being flexible, with fab communication. And she messaged us recommendations for breakfast and other meals. We'd definitely come back.

Perfect location, second time staying here. They have a range of rooms, provide handy information for parking/lovely breakfast places. They have lots of leaflets in the entrance area and the beds are so comfy! They even helped us last minute when we misread the check out time as we had a wedding later that morning & the weather was miserable to be stood outside for an hour before leaving. The planning was a mistake on our end but they were more than happy to provide a solution. Amazing service & amazing place to stay!

Quaint little place, basic but comfortable enough to stay in for a few days. Perfect location for visiting the castle and nearby attractions. We use it as a base to visit other places In Northumberland.

We wouldn’t say we ‘didn’t like’ anything. Including breakfasts would be a major benefit for guests but would surely increase the prices. There are plenty of eating places nearby though.

There was no breakfast included but the location is so near the centre of Alnwick that there are plenty of options for food. The guesthouse is old so expect creaking floorboards and a querky layout. The decore is modern with a personal touch. If you want modern with a long walk to the centre book a premier Inn 😉. If you want personality, location and value for money this is great.

Loved the location, just next to the centre, easily walkable to the castle. Parking was available and if not pointed to nearby free parking. Communication fro Tracy was awesome, providing all relevant information and suggestions for places to ear.

Shower plug was blocked so a pool of water built up. Fine for a quick shower though.

Brilliant location. We used as a base for surrounding areas. Alnwick has plenty of pubs and eateries. Room ready early and we were contacted to let us know. Plenty of free parking nearby. Comfy bed.

Could have been a little cleaner. Lightshades and bathroom fan very dusty. New plughole needed in bathroom sink.

The shower wasn't very powerful and the water did not stay at one temperature. The main light had an energy bulb which was not the brightest but the lamps were very bright and gave good lighting. Nothing that spoiled our stay .
