We loved the room. The location was great, right in the heart of the town . But still quiet and a pleasure to shop.

Unfortunately your receptionist was very unpleasant and didn't make us feel welcome , she was sully , defensive and not welcoming. This had an effect on both me and my husband as this was a special treat for us both . Your receptionist sadly has let your business down in so many ways her dress sense was laking in the very important essence of a smart welcoming officiant and most importantly a warm welcome . I feel sad for your company as the room was lovely. The complementary breakfast , was explained in a negative and defensive way ,which left us speechless . I am sad to leave such a review , but compeled to say how we felt on the day .

The location was perfect, breakfast was good and reasonable (although not included in price) The Haddon room was very well equipped and comfortable. The staff were very obliging at all times and happy to share information about the area.

if i had to be critical i had hard poached eggs 1 day :) but that was all. Car Parking is off site but is only across the road from the Hotel. Fortunately we read other reviews about the car parking so we already had the app to park and pay by phone and took the advice to get a permit for 3 days for £15 which saved us a lot of hassle and money parking elsewhere.

Staff, from walking through the door to leaving were 100% attentive, friendly and helpful at all times. The room was clean, warm, welcoming and comfortable. Location was excellent, bang in the centre of Bakewell. We had an evening meal, which was exceptional and eat breakfast both mornings, which was to an excellent standard. Parking, even though nothing to do with the hotel, was communicated to us prior to arrival, paid in advance and was a doddle. We would like to mention Sarah at the front desk, who was brilliant from the minute we arrived, as was all staff we encountered. Will definitely recommend this to others as a must stay value for money hotel in an ideal location. Well done Hotel Boutique.

Nothing!!!!

Lovely welcome. The room was very comfortable. Staff in the main hotel were excellent. Good location in the centre of Bakewell. Parking was straightforward if you keep to the instructions. A lovely evening meal on our second night, although we were the only diners!

The hotel and restaurant are two separate entities. We were told on arrival that we didn't need to book breakfast. When we went down the first morning, we were nearly turned away! Breakfast had been advertised on booking.com as extra for £14. We had to pay per item which was slightly more expensive! The second morning, we had the same problem, decided to just have cereal and toast. She tried to charge £14 each! Not happening! We reported the breakfast issues to reception on leaving. She was very apologetic. Hopefully, these miscommunications between the two companies are now sorted.

This place was great. I felt like a movie star being ushered to our room. The bed was so comfortable and the restroom so clean and neat. The air conditioning was top notch! The full English at their restaurant was delicious. Parking was easy peasy and the location was right in the heart of everything. Bakewell was so beautiful.

Can't think of anything.

Situated in a really pretty part of Bakewell, first impressions were that it looked really smart and well maintained from the outside. Modern but incorporating the traditional characteristics of the surrounding area. Friendly, welcoming staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. Immaculate from the reception area to the room, lift and corridors all very clean. The room was lovely, very spacious and comfortable. Room temperature was just right. Everything was in good working order and immaculate. Beds very comfy, and warm. Facilities were spot on. Plenty of beverage supplies. Mini fridge. Iron & ironing board, hairdryer and safe all in the room. Lovely complimentary toiletries in the bathroom and ample towels. The dining area/bar area was lovely, tables well spaced. Staff very attentive and ample choice at breakfast for a reasonable price. Food was really good. Really couldn’t fault the hotel, very pleasant and comfortable stay. Would highly recommend this hotel, fabulous find.

Nothing about the hotel we didn’t like. We did stay on a Sunday which meant we couldn’t park close to the hotel due to the Monday weekly market and had to walk to the car in the morning with the luggage. It was only a short walk and the hotel had made us aware of this well in advance and given useful information on the nearby parking and payment systems. The setting up of the market stalls starts early and the hotel is directly in front of it so may be a consideration if you want to enjoy a lie in, but it added to the charm of the hotel watching it all being set up.

Everything was a wonderful cozy experience. The rooms were nice sized, clean, and well appointed, the beds comfortable, bathrooms high end. The staff was helpful and kind. Location was fantastic, right near everything.

Breakfast wasn't the best-- there was only one woman on staff and she was running ragged, the poor thing. Nothing terrible, but not on the same level as the rest of our stay. Only other gripe was that the wifi didn't work in our particular room-- worked in other rooms and downstairs just fine.

The room size was unexpectedly large, which was lovely. There were good facilities within the room, e.g, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and also a bottle of water in the fridge. The room was clean and also had spare pillows if needed. The size of the bed was exceptional and very comfortable to sleep in. We did get a little warm on the night, but this was soon resolved when we turned on the air conditioning system.

We didn't have the breakfast as we felt it was very over priced (£14 per person) but there are plenty of other cafes that offer a decent breakfast for half the price. The fridge in the room was also overheating as it was contained in a small cupboard with no ventilation. We left the door open to help it cool down and it seemed to work more efficiently. The hotel should consider removing the cupboard door covering fridge or moving the fridge elsewhere.

Great location, central and near a big car park. The rooms was perfect, very clean and well turned out, lovely complimentary toiletries, nice fluffy towels and the bed was so comfortable. It's nice to have a mini fridge in the room and tea and coffee making facilities too. The breakfast was delicious and great value for money, we had two good sized full english breakfasts with toast and a large fresh orange each and it was £20.

There's nothing to dislike!
