Even though we had a standard double room it was very spacious, bed was comfortable, bathroom was roomy too, like that it had air-conditioning, breakfast was lovely too, location of the hotel was decent, took us about 10 mins to walk into Bath, rough coming back as it's uphill but kept us fit, nice for us to have free parking at the property, didn't see much staff but the girl who served us breakfast was lovely and very helpful.

We didn't get clean towels while we were there, the bin in the bathroom only got emptied once and our bed only got made the once and we stayed 4 nights, its not a massive deal, but sometimes it's the little touches that make the difference,it wouldn't put me off staying again, would have liked a wardrobe and drawers in the room,as there wasn't anywhere to put our clothes apart from a small rail.

Everything! Having recently been renovated the decor was stunning. Bathroom was spacious and beautifully appointed. All staff that we came into contact with were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast options and the actual food was excellent - cooked options, fruit, toast, cereal and pastries on offer. Plenty for vegetarians and people with food allergies. A short walk to the city centre for reasonably fit and healthy people. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Minor gripe - parking an be tight. There is no elevator however one of the lower rooms has easy access and is kitted out for anyone with a disability.

Superb choice and quality of breakfast options, included in our nightly rate. Beautiful interiors, decor & styling - loved that there were lots of live plants around the property. The restaurant was impeccably designed and furnished with a beautiful skylight. The quality of the furnishings, furniture and appliances was also noted and added value to the experience. Very clean as far as hotels go; I have health conditions requiring my environment to be very clean, and Leighton House addressed my concerns before arrival and delivered a very clean and overall fantastic experience for me. The property is a short 10 minute walk to the centre of Bath, which is also fantastic. We enjoyed the outside seating, bar/ lounge amenities and the staff were attentive and incredibly helpful at all times. The air-conditioning was a godsend with the recent hot weather! I have had terrible past experiences with both smaller and larger hotels and this experience has been incomparable. I'd like to thank the team at Leighton House sincerely and look forward to returning again.

The room smelled slightly musky upon arrival, with some dust along the top ledge of the headboard. Would ideally like the headboard to be impeccably clean as this is where one sleeps and rests. There was some chalky residue around the shampoo stand in the shower, and a cobweb - but realistically small details which would have made the stay a full 10/10 for me. I also noticed some dust in the downstairs WC, but again minimal. The wifi was intermittent and often cut out, which wasn't ideal.

The room was big and comfortable. Everything was spotless. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful

The route into Bath was longer than I had appreciated and it would have been helpful to have a map at first. The room was cold when we arrived and the introduction to the room was very brief and we had to ask again how to make the heating come on. We never worked out the heating in the bathroom !! (a proper introduction to how things worked would have been good). Couldnt use my computer at the desk because there was not room for the plug to be pushed in fully - a frustrating design flaw ! The room was quite overlooked (Number 2 on the ground floor). though the big windows were lovely.

fabulous accommodation just a few sticking points but not enough to spoil the stay. amazing breakfast, beautiful room. a little further from the centre than I thought but thats probably my fault. very attentive staff.

we were in a front ground floor room(room 1) and although it was lovely it had very big windows with no blinds and a seating area right outside so we had to keep the curtains closed which was a shame as the weather was beautiful. shower had very low pressure and the sink tap did not allow a rinse when brushing teeth and no cups to do the job. sink also seemed to be blocked as slow draining.

The room itself was really well maintained ( looked brand new), very clean. The bathroom. was exceptional spacious, very clean with a huge shower and great quality toiletries. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great, nicely laid out with great choices. Overall, it is very good value for the cost. The reception area is bright and welcoming with a trolley that had a jug of iced tea and mints for guests.

The room was overlooked and the only covering at the window was the blackout curtains which then shut out the natural light - a voile panel or voile blind would have been ideal for privacy.whilst still being able to enjoy natural light in the room. The bathroom did not have a shelf near the wash basin, so our toiletries had to go on the floor. The bar area was a little dark and could do with extra lighting. There was a trolley in reception with iced tea for guests but i

Beautiful hotel with a really welcoming feel. The rooms are large and beds massive. Shower really good. Short walk into bath. Easy parking outside. Fab breakfast. The decor is very classy.

We first stayed at the hotel about 5 years ago. In that time it’s been extended with many more rooms. Service now not as personal, but still very good. The room doors are on heavy Yale locks. As a result they slam loudly. If guests come in late or leave early it makes a large bang. Slightly frustrating if hoping for a lie in! Some soft close mechanisms would be good.

Absolutely lovely hotel - my partner and I prefer places that are modern and this hotel is beautifully done. Staff were friendly and informative. Breakfast - good spread of buffet and off the menu choices. Location - at the top of the street, across the river from centre, only 10 mins walk away. We will definitely stay there again if visiting Bath and would highly recommend to others.

One small detail, our room was right above the front door and there was a couple that kept walking out for a cigarette in the night up until 4 am. The door was slammed every time they came in and out, however not the hotel's fault, you can find inconsiderate/drunk people everywhere, maybe if the room was elsewhere, I wouldn't have heard that. I haven't taken away any rating because of that.

Straight upon arrive the staff were accomodating and the room looked just lovely! Our room being the cost suite certainly me our expectations of comfortability and aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast was just lovely everyday, hot options available before 10, along with tasty cold. Town center was a good 15 min walk away which is very convenient - just all up-hill on the way back. Staff throughout were friendly and enthusiastic. Beautiful venue and parking on site. Accommodated us wanting to stay an extra night and achieved this for us - so thankful. Will definitely be going back next time I'm in the west country!

Housekeeping was a little under-par as there was something missed/not done each day ie. Left old towels / didn't re-plen dirty cups etc. Only considering this due to the standard of everything else being so high. Having an option to order snacks/small plates at an alloted time during the evenings would be a great idea to save having to trek out for dinner/lunch ?

Beautiful hotel, really well decorated. The room was also really tastefully decorated and modern, and the bathroom was modern and very clean. The food was excellent and all staff were friendly and helpful. Also, they have information in their info booklet about what suppliers they used to decorate, which, as a homeowner looking to replicate some of this, is amazing.

The room, while very tastefully decorated, had quite dark lighting, which, while you're trying to get ready for an evening out, is quite annoying.
