I only live near Kirkham, but I needed a break and I have stopped here before. The first room I was put in I wasn’t very comfortable with, but the staff were amazing and changed me straight away. So I was very happy. Also it’s across the road from my dad‘s best fishing spot. So it means a lot to me. He passed away two years ago so I sit there all the time when I’m down in Blackpool.

I love the location and the swimming pool. Plus if you are coming to stay on a holiday, it is very near to Blackpool Centre.

Amazing staff and very nice room with extremely comfortable bed.

That I found the Norbreck castle Hotel before booking with the grand. I wish I could of found the grand sooner, The drastic images of the Norbreck have stained my memory for life 😬

As in previous visits, my son and I had the best reception manner upon arrival.the friendly and warm welcoming greeting is exceptional due to working as decoration design supervisor, within the Royal Lancaster.the landmark london hotel also k-west.i look at the hotel that I choose as a holiday home that is perfectly presented and very well maintained as the key to choice. We are missing hotel comfort already,so are returning this weekend and then again on the 13th-to the 17th of September Can't wait ,so thanking the grand staff for a great service, second to none as we tried multiple other blackpool hotels, apartments but are now only grand bound .Leo and casey o reilly

Have no negatives

Comfortable bed, friendly staff. A shoutout to the restaurant staff who worked their backsides off to try to keep on top of the mess people leave behind during the buffet breakfast. Breakfast itself is ok.Great WiFi signal. Swimming pool and steam room are nice and numbers are limited so not overcrowded.

Showers not very powerful so if you want to wash long hair you might be a while. On our first night we did smell weed in the reception area when we arrived back to the hotel, there were no staff behind the desk. Security needs improving in the evening with regards to access into the hotel. That said, I never felt unsafe but others may. Should offer a vegetarian meat substitute at breakfast.

As ever it didnt let me down, prior to staying I had a request & when i rang they sorted it straight away. Got there checked in & room was nice n clean with fresh clean towels & toiletries to use. Cant fault the staff as whenever we have had any questions in past or in this stay they have always been happy to help

Not their fault but some bell end set off the fire alarm about 3 in the morning, so for about 5/10 mins the bedroom looked like a scene from aliens with the red warning light flashing on/off in the room.

hotel on the promenade, walkable distance to the centre, car park at the back of hotel pretty accessible, availability of rooms, it was quiet but then we were there at the start of August we just needed a bed for the night, no bfast taken so can't comment like the fact that it is an animal friendly hotel

We arrived at the hotel about 7 pm and hotel receptionist advised i she can't book a room for me and my family as it is late and i had to do my reservation online i didn't like the idea of two single beds joined into one big (easily pushed apart) as child couldn't sleep with us in the middle, i had to sleep in a single extra bed. I would rather have a king size bed for all 3 of us to sleep in and bit cheaper

Great big hotel. Lovely bar offering great meals. Lovely location in a quiet part of Blackpool. Bedding was comfy. Sea view room was a bonus. Pool and sauna were fantastic. Drinks in the bar are not overpriced. Staff were super friendly.

Room 425 the bed needs replacing because every time u sit on it or turn over it’s so squeaky and loud. I didn’t like that you had to pay to use the car park at the hotel. Instead of £12 it’s £6 for guests but still if your paying to stay there it should be free. The bath in the room had thick soap scum on the bath floor. I had to clean it off before I could use it.

Reception staff were really nice and accommodating of our request on arrival. We booked a standard room which was a good size and had a fridge which was a real bonus, beds were very clean and comfortable, bathroom was very clean with a spacious shower that was lovely and hot and had good power. Towels spotless and very soft. Good supply of tea and coffee that you could just top up from reception. Plenty wardrobe space and an Iron and ironing board in the room. Breakfast offered a good choice and it was lovely and hot. Burgers from the bar menu were good quality as well. Free parking for Blue Badge holder but still only £7 a night if you have to pay.

The little 'couch' in the window was heavily stained from previous spillages which was very off putting and spoilt an otherwise spotlessly clean room. No hairdryer in the room, no toilet roll on arrival so had to collect ourselves The buffet style evening meal in the restaurant didn't look very appetising. We tried the soup which was just luke-warm but didn't bother with the rest. Limited choice of wines - the only white wine they serve is Chardonnay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful in every way possible the previous night I stayed at the Hilton….and found the Grand Hotel a more child friendly Hotel with staff alike and would make that my first choice to stay on my next visit. I arrived early from a long drive, check in wasn’t until 16.00 but the reception endeavoured to find me a room that was available so I could check in earlier, which I was very grateful for. Great lounge for kids to have some great safe space to do what they do…… have fun… I asked my boy which hotel was best and the Grand Hotel won hands up……

The food was quite dry for me ( that’s just y preference) but others enjoyed it, for me there was little choice for children and the chamber maids were chasing you out the room at 9am when checkout is 11am, but that certainly didn’t have an impact on my stay

The hotel put me in a executive suite right at the front of the hotel with 2 windows so I had a view of the tower and piers on one side and a view of the sea front where I could see the outline of Isle of man during a sunset! Room was very spacious and very clean and tidy!

I think my only point is at the evening meal which was a buffet choice (which was nice) but I would of preferred an menu and I could choose what I wanted because some nights there wasnt really a lot of people in the evening and it would of been a shame if food got wasted!
