The coffee shop! Excellent independent roasters and great breakfasts.

On arrival, the toilet wasn't flushing. Disappointed cleaner hadn't informed staff, no maintenance staff so took a little more persuasion than should have been necessary for the manager to sort the issue but all credit after, she did. Parking is available for a charge, returned to no spaces but same manager arranged for a car to be moved for us.

We stayed here for 12 days in a 2 bed apartment over Christmas as my family live nearby. It was ideal with the dog, total privacy but reception staff so helpful if we needed anything at all. We had Christmas Eve lunch at the Astronomer which was great, and very child friendly for my little nephew. We had happy hour cocktails at Dutch on our last night, the bar is really cute and the drinks were lovely. Also excellent links into Cambridge, Uber is never more than 2 mins away and they’ll give you vouchers for the bus.

I think that more could be provided for longer stays, we went out to get tea bags, milk, kitchen towel, olive oil, salt and pepper etc. Sainsbury’s is around the corner so that’s fine, but the hotel provisions were pretty sparse. There’s a charge of £40 for bringing the dog but nothing is provided. It’d be helpful if provided a bed, bowl, poo bags, treats/kibble etc. as a lot of hotels do and it’s handy not to have to pack.

For me, the location was the main point, since it was very close to my friends. Also very practical: the bus goes straight from the hotel to the city centre and the railway station. No taxi needed. The layout of the apartment is very well thought through: it is basically in three parts with the kitchen area by the window, then the bed separated by a wall, then the bathroom. Kitchen smells evaporated quickly and did not easily penetrate the sleeping area. The downside: it was a bit more difficult to have fresh air while sleeping. It was generally quiet, except for a next door siren going off on the first evening, which fortunately was silenced before sleeping time. Since I had to cook all the time (too many allergies), the Sainsbury’s just a few steps away was ideal. The staff is very smiling and friendly, giving you all the information you need.

The equipment was very basic. In the kitchen, there was no small cutting knife nor any deep plates. I got both from Sainsbury’s, but it would have been nice to go without that extra cost. The chairs are not at all comfortable. The shower did not close properly, so the water came into the bathroom. The bedding was too warm, even for the winter season. There was a continuous humming from the ventilation that you cannot turn off. All in all, these are minor points, however, that would not prevent me from coming back.

It was a very well equipped room and comfortable stay. Self-catering in a hotel environment. It’s all new build round here but coffee shops are buzzing and the restaurant attached, the Astronomer, is great. It provides the option of a bar or a meal.

They have a big problem - PARKING. There is limited underground parking. On arrival I was told the option was to park my car half a mile away in the city’s ’Park and ride’. There, parking is limited to 18 hours, or you are towed away. The other option was already taken - £15 a day. So, first morning I got very wet. I stayed another 8 days, adding £120 to the bill.

I had a wonderful stay and the hotel is beyond my expectation. The facility and cleaning quality are both professional. The receptions are quite friendly, Molly and Robyn. Especially thanks to Rhys. I arrived too early and had to stay at lounge, but he kindly heled me a lot. This location is quite good and U-bus goes to everywhere in the city. The room is ideal for long stay of family such as staying in one or two months since kitchen facilities are comprehensive and also Sainsbury is nearby. If I go to Cambridge next time either for short or long stay, definitely Locke is my first in mind.

The hotel is in a modern building complex on the edge of Cambridge. Our room had excellent facilities, and was clean and spacious - very good value for the price. There is a supermarket and a couple of bars and restaurants nearby. The kitchenette in our room was well equipped, and self-catering was easy thanks to the nearby Sainsburys. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful, and the (paid for) parking on-site was useful. The hotel is only a short walk from Churchill College and easy to access by road from both the city centre and the M11. Would definitely consider staying here for future business visits. The hotel also appears well equipped for guests with limited mobility.

The room we stayed in was intended as a room for disabled guests. Though this was clearly well equipped and ideally suited for guests with limited mobility, some features were a little inconvenient for us (e.g. abundant assistance alarms, bathroom smoothed wetroom floor [ideal for wheelchair users but leaves large amount of water on the floor after showering]). The double bed was placed in the corner of the room, making it difficult and a little uncomfortable for one person in a couple to access the bed. There was also some noise from the neighbouring rooms via the (locked) connecting door. The layout of furniture and curtains made opening windows difficult when ventilation was needed.

Great stay - this is my third time visiting. The ability to add options after booking was better than before. A smart new building - clean facilities. Spacious accommodation with convenient parking and shops nearby - welcoming staff.

Previously I have brought a dog but the price point is now prohibitive at £40/dog per visit regardless of the length of visit. Minor issue with bathroom light flickering and I struggled to completely close the window but suspect that was just me. But look forward to the next time staying.

Wonderful apartment in a very modern building complex. Outstanding greeting at the reception - thank you Des and Arthur for making us feel very welcome from the get go. Modern interior. spacious kitchen/living area, great bathroom. The beds were very comfy. The facility includes a nice bar and offers good breakfast in the neighboring hotel. Grocery shopping near by as well as access to a bus line to downtown Cambridge. A nice little park just a short walk away. Very pet friendly!

This place is exceptional! The 2 bedroom apartment was so huge, which made it so comforting for me and my family. There were ample cooking supplies, and with the Sainsbury's right beside, you could save money by cooking meals in the flat. Although it is a bit of a walk, there's a frequent bus service (the U) right outside the hotel that can take you into the city centre as well as the rail station.

It is a bit pricey, but the cost seems fair for the quality you get. I have stayed next door at the Hyatt Regency and overall think this is a much better location given the flexibility to cook your own meals if you'd like.

Everything was exceptional during our stay. Christopher (who works the night shift) was phenomenal with checking us in late at night, as well as the support staff. This is one of the best places we stayed for at an Airbnb. The amenities, color, scheme, appliances, and niceties were just spectacular. The location of this Airbnb is centrally located within a block of a healthy and wholesome food market. It is easily accessible to call a Uber or take the local bus into town. My husband and I were visiting for a professional (I spoke at Cambridge university) and holiday vacation (personal trip). This truly is a must day for anyone , who desires, peace, beauty, great amenities, Zen, care, and overall quality services.
