The house, location and facilities were unique. It really felt like a Manor House and not a hotel. We loved the vibe and the grounds, and the room. A bit of feedback below on the app feature but I will say it worked for me and is good innovation by the owners.
The bathroom was a little basic and didn’t have any toiletries, although I know this is advised on the website. There were a few guests with us on arrival struggling with the app. Some were complaining. I actually quite liked the concept and it worked for me, but possibly harder for others, like the elderly. I would maybe suggest doing a video tutorial on how to access the hotel for guests before they arrive?

Brilliant location, great room, nice additions such as coffee and snack vending machines plus the options of buying a breakfast relatively close by.
When I requested to park my van during the day to pick up after work, I was first sent an email saying that I could and that there would be no charge. Then I was later phoned and told I could park during the day but only if I paid £20, which I declined because there is 'park n ride' free parking option 2mins away. I was appalled that this fact was not brought to my attention and that they wanted £20 to park.

This is a brilliant place to stay for proximity to Cambridge. I really liked the rooms. It was all very easy and suited our needs perfectly. I can't comment on the staff as we didn't see anyone....
We are happy enough with a cold room but the beds need properly dressing with a decent duvet and blanket. We were freezing all night. I'm glad we packed our thermals and pyjamas but getting out of bed to find a blanket in the small hours is not fun. In this sense we weren't comfortable and we didn't have a good night's sleep unfortunately.

The peace and quiet was enjoyable , the landscape and architecture is also very beautiful. plenty of areas to explore and enjoy a nice quiet moment
the place and atmosphere was lovely , the only downside was our bed, the bed was extremely uncomfortable as it was not balanced and was tilting towards one side , i simply couldn't sleep on it as i was being rolled over to the other side, as a result i couldn't sleep , it was painful. The checkin experience was not pleasant , we were given instructions to pickup the keys at reception however when we went there reception was closed , a lady appeared and rushed into the room , she later stated that she wasn't happy with the state of the rooms hence why she couldn't hand out the keys, this delayed our check in , the houses where the rooms are located are not labelled and there is no signage to follow , so it took a while to find our rooms.

Very convenient location - just off the M11 and very close to the park and ride with frequent buses into the centre. The room was clean and had everything you would expect, the gardens were pretty, the shower was great. The price was very good for what it was. Easy to park (£5 a night extra for the car, but that was made clear up front). I would stay again and would recommend it with some caveats.
The walls are thin. We were lucky that our neighbours were quiet, but I can imagine this could be an issue. The wifi was dodgy first thing in the morning which was a problem for me as I had a work call and had to decamp to the snacks room (not ideal as it the snacks machines were noisy!) where the wifi was stronger. Later in the morning it was fine - I guess when most of the other guests had left for the day! It was fine for us, but there is nowhere close to get anything to eat.

The price was surprisingly low for such beautiful place. Room is just like on the protos, not too big, but nice. Bed was great, pillows soft and comfortable. Large bathroom with a good size shower. Windows with a view on a garden. Had a nice walk in the garden in the morning - all looked amazing, very good place for somebody to have a wedding there.
Digital check in was not working, app didn't load. On arrival another couple had an issue with it so the staff member gave the RFID key card for them and for us. 1 soap bar in the bathroom was a bit strange - seems like if you want to save the soap - liquid soap dispencers that can be topped up would be a better option. Also, hotel sends too many emails with rules and guidance. I had no time to read so much text, though it was probably very helpful. Could just have a laminated sheet in the room with all the useful info.

Room was lovely, location was great. Parking was a little tricky despite the huge parking area - maybe something was going on. Bathroom clean. Just as hoped and great value for money.
Would have been nice to have had an option for breakfast somewhere on-site or at least a nice cup of coffee compared to the awful packet of Nescafe in the room.

Checking in was very easy with the app. The location, so close to Cambridge and the Park n Ride, was great. Rectory Farm was easy to find and there is plenty of parking and lovely gardens to walk around when you want to stretch your legs after a long drive. The rooms are great for a night's stay. The bed was comfy, the shower is roomy and powerful and it was lovely to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, if you need more there is a snack machine and coffee machine in the Barn. We dined at The Plough which was close by and an easy walk from Rectory Farm, the food was delicious.
Not Rectory Farm's fault but it was a hot summer's night and the room was quite warm but there was a fan in the wardrobe and we could open the windows for a bit of relief.

I really enjoyed my stay at the property. The spacious and convenient car park made it easy to get around. The room was lovely, with a great amount of space and charming décor. The toilet was clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the beautiful scenery, which gave the place a peaceful countryside feel.
What I didn't like was that the car park wasn't included in the package, even though it was only £5 per day. The breakfast was also quite expensive, so I decided to skip it. While the location is great, it's not very close to the city centre. However, it's a good compromise if you're driving.
