Right in the middle of where you want to be, so close to the town and quay. Parking is tricky and you may need to drop off your bags first, but the local car parks are very walkable from the pub(this is based on out of season). If you have a disability this may not be the place for you, not only for the parking but the pub has only have stair access to the rooms and rickety at that. Room was very comfortable with an on suite bathroom/shower. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room and TV, though none of the two remotes worked on the TV. We Managed to work out how to turn on and off, change channels etc manually. The breakfast was superb. You could have as much or little as you would want, plenty of choice. GREAT.

Nothing accept the remotes for the TV. If we were there for longer I would have asked them to resolve the problem.

Traditional pub in heart of Fowey. Great atmosphere - it was buzzing on both nights we stayed with both locals and visitors. Live music on the Saturday night had people up and dancing and bar was full. Well kept beer. Fish and chips lovely and crispy and huge portion of mussels. Superb breakfast. Room was comfortable and bathroom modern and clean with good shower and fluffy towels. Convenient for coastal path. Helpful friendly staff.

Peeling wallpaper / plaster cracks in the room - appreciate the building is old but a little bit of maintenance would make a big difference.

All staff were very warm and welcoming. Very willing to accommodate dietary needs for breakfast. My vegan breakfast was nothing short of wonderfully tasty and plenty off it. Utterly delicious. I loved my room, tastefully decorated, to keep in harmony with the building and I had a lovely view of the street below. My additional bathroom was also beautifully designed too. The entire pub felt as if I had stepped back in time. I expected Poldark to come sweeping through the pub door at any given minute. With two roaring log fires being attentively fed, I felt very cozy and found it extremely hard to pack up and leave when my holiday was over!

Located right in the centre of Fowey. We stayed for two nights. The room and bed were comfortable and the bathroom was modern and large, great shower! A lovely old historic pub, dog friendly in the rooms and the pub/restaurant. Food was fantastic! We ate there both nights that we stayed and the breakfast was good too. Lively pub, music/dj on the Saturday night. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Dj went on quite late on the Saturday night, 12.30am, so not good if you want an early night. Church bells chime through the night but didn't really bother us. Pillows could do with replacing as they were quite thin, my partner had to ask for an extra one. The room could have done with a chair, as the only thing to sit on was the bed.

The building was historical and the history given in the room was very good. Cleanliness was very good. Girl who served us a breakfast very very welcoming and efficient.

All the staff were very nice with the exception of a huge bearded man who was behind the bar on our arrival. Chucked our room key on the bar at us. Never greeted us nor explained how to get to the room. Which sadly meant we didn`t drink or eat there for the 2 days. Sadly the kitchen extractor fan was below our window and because of the exceptional hot weather we had to keep the window open which meant it wasn`t as restful as we would have liked.

I'm totally in love with this inn, from the very first sight!!!:)) Loved everything there - from my cosy room with the church and cemetery view to the pub which was a place I could stay forever, the ambiance was just so nice! The food was very yummy, the staff friendly, the town itself stole my heart!:)) I'll be back for sure!:) 🩵🩵🩵

No place to park your car nearby the inn - the pay and display car parks are some 10 minutes walking.

Service was efficient and pleasant. Breakfasts were very good and served in a very beautiful old room on the 1st floor. We had a pleasant street view from our bedroom. The position was good for exploring, eating and river cruises.

The room and bed were very small and the bathroom was private but not en suite. However, this is to be expected in such an old building. It was also a bit noisy outside until the drinkers all went home but that is to be expected when you stay at an old pub. The biggest problem is the lack of parking. We had to park our car at the top of the hill and catch the bus or walk up a very steep hill.

Easy to get to and a warm welcome when I checked in such a helpful member of staff, I was toured and they help me take my bag to my room. Thank you. Lovely clean welcoming room had all I needed.

I had a meal which was not great but I heard many there having had fish pie how good it was, so think it was just what I had. It’s a pub so you expect noise I had some but nothing lasted that long it annoyed me and was not from the pub itself on one out of the two occasions.

It is located right in centre of village so everything is on your doorstep. Full English breakfast available with a choice of cereal and fruit also. Everything cooked to order. Room was very comfortable and clean. Great big TV with choice of channels, tea/coffee/ water/biscuits in room. The roast beef dinner on Sunday evening was really tasty too.

Only downside was it does not have a carpark. There are paid parking facilities around the town. I used the one at the top of the hill. The car park at the harbour is usually very busy and not as many spaces.

It was in the heart of Fowey, it was dog friendly. Jamie the landlord carried my luggage up to my room. It was quiet in my room considering it was above a pub. The breakfast was good Lovely stain glass window in the dining room

The bed in my room had a metal bed frame and every time I moved it squeaked. The pillows were very flat and not comfortable. There wasn’t a toilet roll holder in the bathroom.
