Convenient location, with restaurant next door. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and there was a lovely inn serving food close by.

We had a problem with the shower but a very helpful member of staff (Libby) sorted us out with another room.

Location was 15 min walk to town. Nothing nearby for quick and easy food etc. Pub with restaurant next door but overpriced for area and what’s on offer.

Breakfast was good with the option of veggie sausages for the vegetarians. Just had to request that the hot food to be refilled as there wasn’t any scrambled eggs when my family arrived for the breakfast but the kitchen staff did the needful quickly. Same was the case with the muffins and the croissants, which when we requested the staff offered us some on our tables. I would suggest that the restaurant staff to cater for all the breakfast options till the end of the breakfast timings because there may be some guests who would hesitate to ask and request for the food if unable to find some in the empty containers.

Had to request for food items which had got over much earlier before we had arrived for our breakfast.

Staff were very friendly and the 24 hr desk was great for soft drinks when needed. The staff were very friendly with helping us with early breakfast and had bags packed for us to collect in the morning. Which was amazing.

Was a bit expensive but there was an event on close by so I think the prices were increased due to that.

The staff were all very welcoming. Room was cleaned beyond belief. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, plenty of choice and the lady who worked hard ensuring everyone was satisfied was an absolute angel! She was friendly, chatty, and always willing to give recommendations of places to visit, very informative. Hotel is in a great location for going off on day trips. Will definitely go back if possible x

Breakfast, room, bed and staff were excellent. Very well informed about everything. Asked Manager if there was anywhere we could walk and he mentioned the nearby park where we had a lovely walk. Didn’t really know the area but were very happy to have found the hotel. Will definitely visit hotel again.

The staff! Seriously out of all the hotels I have stayed in over the last 2 years (working in health care and having to travel) the staff in this where by far the best.

The hotel facilities let down the best staff team I have ever come across. Particularly 3 days without hot water. While all the staff tried to help. Holiday Inn need to reward the staff and reinvest in the infrastructure

Staff brilliant from top to bottom. Friendly, helpful, decent people, doing their best to.make the stay good. Night desk guy Damien even offered to get my wife some painkillers when she had a toothache....

Pub next door pulls customers from the venue, but is a sterile boring place with no atmosphere and average food at best. Better off heading into town for Wetherspoons ....

Staff was very friendly, helpful. Nothing was a problem if we went to a member of staff for anything we wanted, example clean towels or bedding as the cleaners did not go into your room while we was there to protect me and my family while this covid 19 virus going around

There was nothing that I didn't like, was very happy with everything

The hotel was conveniently located, it met our requirements for a 2 night stay, the staff were friendly and helpful.

The tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cups etc. were not replenished after our first night and whilst not a problem to go and get replacements, I had not had to do this in other hotels that I had stayed in. Also the room was not serviced and again whilst not a problem for a two night stay, I was not aware that it would not be done.
