Friendly staff especially Front of house and staff during the funeral high team.

Inconsistency at breakfast... bacon was floppy not crispy so ask for crispy! No jam or marmalade with toast the first day so didn't bother eating it at all. Need to provide tea and coffee throughout not just before breakfast. Everyone friendly but seem a bit short staffed. Food was lovely for high tea and evening meal was delicious! Beer first class. Room was great, warm and sunny and the shower was really good. Nice vibe ... old fashioned, clean and comfortable.

Really nice hotel, lovely staff very friendly and can’t do enough to help. We had a very nice dinner all cooked fresh and served by attentive staff. Prices were very reasonable and if you have a big appetite this is the place for you very generous portions, likewise breakfast was exceptional cooked fresh and served at the table. Good parking at the hotel, and WiFi in all areas. Happy to recommend and look forward to returning.

There was nothing we didn’t like, one minor point which is not an issue was we would have appreciated an extra chair in the room, we were there for only 1 night so not a major problem

We arrived late but the staff was waiting for us and was super friendly. Our entire stay was perfect. Easy to reach from the train station via cab. The room was great and a short walk from the coast line with a beautiful view. The breakfast at this location was top notch!!!! We are already planning a trip back to the area and we will stay here again. Dinner was also incredible and they have a great whiskey bar. I highly recommend this location!

Lovely little room! Clean and reasonably sized! Checked in late due to traffic coming from the Breamar Gathering, when I arrived the service from the kitchen had finished but I was luckily able to order something last minute. Thanks to the brilliant staff who helped me out! Breakfast was great, I had the full Scottish and it was more than enough! Would stay again.

The history of the building, the location, our large comfortable room, the staff were helpful and friendly

There was nothing about the hotel facilities and the room we didn't like. Our only slight negative was that the restaurant served very large portions which are not necessary or healthy

Excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Excellent choice of breakfast options. Good bar and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and warm.

The only downside was that the door to the ensuite bathroom is a sliding door that was very noisy to open and close. A problem when using the bathroom in the middle of the night.

All staff we had contact with were efficient, helpful and friendly. Standard of cleanliness excellent across the whole hotel. Was a very busy evening but nothing too much trouble. Food well presented, good quality and very reasonable price. Room spacious and comfortable.

Shower cramped and water temperature not as hot as it might be.

We had the family suite and it was fabulous! The location was quiet at night and we enjoyed the local beaches during the day. The food in the on site restaurant was one of the best places we ate during our time in Scotland. I would stay here again.

The shower took a bit to get hot but it was not a problem for us.

My room and the hotel altogether was really clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and genuinely seemed to care about the image of the hotel and the service they gave to guests. Also, the food was excellent. Couldn't have had a better stay!!

I can't say there was anything I didn't like.

Location nice , Had meal at teatime , was lovely and breakfast in morning was very good as well.

Everything was fine , rooms a bit small but clean. Shower was a bit temperamental but girl at reception said she would get it checked .A full length mirror somewhere would have been handy .
