Ruby Suite ( room 1) was exceptional. Spacious (over 190 square feet) with sleeping and dining areas, a great wardrobe and coffee area with sofa and tv and gorgeous huge bathroom. Very quiet at that end of the hotel even though several weddings hosted during our visit. Great location. Edinburgh is 20 minutes by train from nearby Kirkcaldy. Fine dining Grande restaurant was superb!

Breakfast no vegetarian meat substitute so limited choices ( as opposed to sausage, bacon and haggis for meat eaters). Hot drinks ordered were forgotten and guests were frequently stood around waiting for replenishment of breakfast items in the hot buffet both mornings we ate. Breakfast staff were a little frazzled and not as smooth running as evening service, but all issues were eventually resolved.

The food was absolutely excellent and the staff were so accommodating. We really enjoyed spending a few days away for a break after our wedding. The room was comfortable and clean to a high standard for a hotel so we were pleased with that. We would definitely recommend going back, particularly to the restaurant!

Our room was at the back of the hotel and there was a lot of construction going on just outside. We could also see right out to another home at the back so it felt like there was little privacy. The room was also really hot due to the high temperatures we have been having and the room felt like it had no air, we tried to open windows to air out the room but it didn't help much.

Polite, friendly and professional staff in all areas. Clean, comfortable and very modern hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean and we had a large modern shower room. Varied breakfast menu in a nicely decorated dining room. Lovely public areas and set in well kept grounds. Plenty of car parking spaces. The location is very peaceful yet a few minutes to connect to motorway by car. A large retail park is located a few minutes walk away. Kirkcaldy town centre is a short drive away. Would recommend Dean Park Hotel to friends and family.

There was a mix up by Booking.com on our booking which included breakfast. The hotel were not aware we had booked with breakfast. The staff soon sorted this out and we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel.

Hotel recently refurbished so everything looking good. The service levels were excellent especially in the main bar. Food in the bar very good quality and value. We took "Scottish High Tea" which was something different and enjoyable for us. Breakfast OK but not the greatest choice Room was good but lacked AC

Shower good but a shelf to place gels etc would be useful The glass sheets placed over furniture were dangerous as the slightest touch sent them flying, could do with something to secure or remove them

Despite booking.com making an error with this booking and putting us in a single room reception we’re really helpful and fixed the problem. Given it was Hogmanay and there were two parties on that night I really didn’t think we were going to get another room - however the hotel went above and beyond offering an alternative accommodation that was really unexpected. Really appreciated and have to say that the reception team are fantastic, friendly and despite the place being really busy spent time with everyone who arrived - probably the best experience we have encountered and we stay in many hotels - it was an 11/10 score ! Rooms were immaculate, breakfast very good and the staff are all well presented / friendly and clearly take pride in the hotel / working there.

The staff were amazing and very welcoming, Shanice, who greeted me at reception to the bar staff, giving me a taste of awesome whiskeys and bourbons to try (which will now be on my shopping list) I had very unhappy start to my first visit to Edinburgh however coming over to Fife wasn't bad thanks to the amazing staff and absolutely beautiful hotel I definitely do not mind staying there again and doing the 45min commute to Edinburgh. Oh and the shower was AMAZING!

Lovely clean hotel and quiet. Their staff were very helpful. Big car park, which was great. No problem to find a space. We have never been here before, so I'm very happy to have come to this hotel. Thank you 😊

Food was average. Drink expensive but average really for a hotel. Had to ask for towels as only one set in the twin room. But they did bring asap. So, really not that much we didn't like. We will visit again. Thank you

The hotel has undergone a complete renovation and looks very nice and modern. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt welcome straight away. Breakfast was very good and staff very attentive. I booked a single room which was very nice. Hotel is just off the highway so a great location if you are stopping on your way through.

The single bedroom was a little small but ok for one night. No space in the bathroom to leave your toiletries.

Absolutely stunning hotel. You can see a lot of time, effort and money has been put into renovating this hotel. We had a superior room, no 30, spotlessly clean with a fridge, complimentary water, tea,coffee etc plus a dolce gusto coffee machine. Toilet very well equipped too, plenty of shower gel,soap etc and rainfall shower. The decor overall was beautiful, lots of lovely little touches. We didn't eat in the hotel but the bar was well equipped and nice to sit in. Parking area and garden well kept too. Would not hesitate to recommend

The hotel is a bit hard to find even with sat nav as its tucked begins a new housing estate but maybe that was just us!

Convenient whilst stopping over, rooms are comfortable and good shower Allowed us to have a later check out easily Most of the staff were friendly

Bed sheets were a bit dirty No bottled water in the rooms Breakfast was not 4 star hotel level - was a lot lot better when we previously stayed just after renovation
