The massage was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed and loved the way the spa uses Elemis throughout. The hydrotherapy pool and facilities are very good. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, it's nice to see that they enjoy their job. Really like the cocktails and the way you're allowed to take them around the pool as that is rare in spas. We stayed in a comfortable room which was very well designed, I loved the teal with grey design and the bed was comfortable.

Thankfully, it was a dry day so could sit outside, if it had been raining everyone would have been inside and there's not enough room to accommodate everyone. I do think it was also because we stayed on a Bank Holiday, which is a very busy time.

Fantastic spa for guests to use, really excellent and clean. Steam room, hydrotherapy pool, mineral shower, sauna and more. Not too busy. Complementary robes, flip flops and towels in room -good quality too. Very elegant interior and lovely bar and dining area. Blown away that the man at reception took our cases to our room. That hardly happens nowadays. Good selection of tea, coffee, chocolate in room. Very clean, comfortable room. Spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast, lovely waiting staff.

The hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate and not in Great Malvern on the hills. Was not expecting this. However, once inside it is lovely.

I loved the spa and the spa area. The staff were also amazing, helpful and professional.

I didn’t like the fact that it wasn’t ‘green’ enough. Lots of bare roof top that could be used for solar panels or roof gardens. More trees and get rid of the plastic plants. The pots could be a lot more bee and butterfly friendly. I recently went to Amsterdam - highly built up but they took every opportunity to have trees ( we’ll need them for shade) and climbers and plants everywhere. The bird song was incredible. We can do better! Please do something for nature 🙏 Please can you also offer more options for vegans and vegetarians.

The room was excellent, clean and all the facilities apart from no fridge. There was ample parking, electric car charging and all the staff we so friendly and very helpful, they went out of their way to make your stay special. The indoor-outdoor spa was really relaxing.

The tiled door around the spar is extremely slippery when wet and although the entrance steps into the spa are 3 metres wide, with support bars, there is a non-slip mat 15-18 inches wide leading from the sauna and shower area to the spar, which my wife stepped off as she re-entered the spar and was lucky to end up with only bruising. It didn't spoil the break but is was an area of concern, although again the staff were extremely concerned and helpful.

Hotel was really spacious and staff were all really pleasant. Food was excellent. On an industrial estate, so heart full of dread as we approached, on entering it was like an oasis. Pleasantly surprised.

Hotel had two electric car chargers. One wasn’t working, rang the helpline to be told it was on the waiting list for repair. The other charger needed you to download the app, register for an account, add credit, then charge. Ridiculous. Tried registering several times, but failed. Had to charge at motorway services. Inconvenient. Not hotel’s fault, as owned by private companies.

Been going here for over 10yrs 4 or more times a yrs . Always been my go to place to relax. The pool is amazing and so is the stream room. The rooms are spacious and always have a relaxing sleep. Breakfast is amazing never had a bad experience with there food . The tea for 2 is a must if you can.

In the 10yrs plus I hadn't had a bad experience. But the last twice I have been there have been a few things only minor . Someone's shower gel left in shower. And then another time a dirty cup and bathroom wall had all stuff down it like sick 😫..staff are quick to sort issue. But think cleaning needs checking .hopefully it's not going to get worse as really love the place. Sometimes pool isn't as hot as it usually is few times we have been. Apart from that it's one of the bests the rest .

I love the spa - especially the pool and sauna. The saunas have greatly benefitted from some replacement seating!

The restaurant food is pretty poor - basic reheating and deep frying for most - apart from the steak, which is very expensive. We had the chicken burger - battered chicken breast - deep fried, over cooked, dark brown and dry. The coleslaw was a couple of large bits of red cabbage inside a dry bun, with about a quarter of a lettuce leaf. not in the least bit impressed! breakfast was OK - plentiful buffet food.

We enjoyed a really relaxing break at The Malvern. Check in was easy, the room was comfortable and a good size.. The dinner was very tasty, as was breakfast.. The spa had a good range of facilities.

We checked in dead on 3pm (the earliest time) and somehow a lot of the breakfast times had already been booked up so we had to have breakfast a lot earlier than preferred. The spa pool could have been a bit cleaner as there were quite a few bits on the pool floor. And the spa floor could have done with mopping more regularly as it was quite slippery underfoot due to the surface water.

The pool, the gym, comfortable room. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Good quality interesting food nicely served in the restaurant.

The lavatory seat in the bathroom was very low, as if designed for a child. A grab rail would be useful for getting in, and out of, the bath. Unpleasant music in the restaurant, particularly noticeable at breakfast.

the pool, but it would be better if all the spa jets operated and the night time lighting needs improvement

I notified ahead of time that I suffer from coeliac disease and therefore must stick to a gluten free and dairy free diet. the gluten free menu is overwhelmingly not dairy free. for a wellness establishment this is a huge structural deficit in menu planning. manager was sympathetic and addressed some issues but this needs to be addressed systemically either by ensuring that there are dairy free substitutes available for the already limited gluten free options, or ensuring that with notice this is catered properly.
