We organised a Hen Party at the Lawrance & had the most brilliant time. The Duchy Road premises which is recently renovated is absolutely beautiful and the apartments are all great sizes. There is plenty of parking and the staff at the venue were incredibly helpful when organising our stay. I’d highly recommend the premises if going to Harrogate; it’s only a short walk from the centre of town, meaning you’ll have a place to leave your car & it’s that great combination of homely & luxe (every apartment has its own living space).

The property is very central. The lady on reception was very helpful and friendly. We have stayed at the property previously and this time had asked our family to join us for the day. I arranged to cook lasagne. I then realised I hadn’t checked how the oven worked. Luckily the maid service lady was around and was immensely helpful in sorting out how the oven worked. We had an excellent meal for 7 on the Thursday and all thankfully went well.

There was no one on reception when I had trouble in understanding how the oven worked. Thankfully the maid service was around and she helped me. I am most grateful to her.

The apartment was extremely clean in every part bedroom, bathroom and living room. Facilities were great and a level of decor and comfort. Very good. Great heater and fan available. It was important also that we could open the bedroom windows.

The apartment is in a busy area, so there is street noise and people moving around all night. However, it didn’t really bother us. The main point that I didn’t like there was no accessible parking other than to unload. the parking seemed to give priority to the restaurant next door the actual parking is half a mile away up a steep hill so if you have. There are 2 disabled street parking places but very often taken so if you have Limited mobility consider this. Finally, there is no shelf inside the large walk in shower which meant that all the soaps and shampoo had to be kept on the shower floor.

the apartment was fantastic! large living space, tastefully decorated, dining table to seat 4, comfy space and television. The kitchen area had everything you’d need, including dish washer. The bed was very comfortable. Bedroom was a decent size with plug points next to the bed. Good strong shower and nice shower gel. located close to good restaurants, shops, the Turkish Baths and pubs.

The property that we stayed at didn’t have parking onsite, which was the only small negative. However I was more that aware that would be the case when booking, so not an issue. There was parking available at another property which we did use.

Our studio apartment had every amenity needed; it included a kitchen, dishwasher (with washing tablets), hob, toaster and kettle. Plus a cafetière. There was also a washer/dryer and a complimentary washing tablet was included. A generous amount of teas, including herbal, and coffee sachets were also included. The apartment was spotless and the bed was very comfortable although perhaps the quilt was too warm for the time of year (July). There is an outstanding Italian restaurant next door.

The outside of the rear of the building was a little bit of a disappointment, needing windows and wall painting but presume that this is on a refurbishment plan.

We stayed in the Coach House which was on York Road. Great central location just off the montpellier quarter. The apartment was gorgeous with its own little terrace with table and chairs. The rooms were a fantastic size and all the fitments were of good quality. The coach house comprised of a kitchen with dining area, bathroom with lovely waterfall shower, comfortable lounge which led onto the terrace and a good size bedroom with king sized bed that also led onto the terrace. Would highly recommend and stay there again when in the area.

It was probably my ineptness with technology but one evening it was chilly so tried to put the underfloor heating on, but no matter what I tried no heat was forthcoming so resorted to a blanket!

Location - right in the city centre. Fantastic shops/restaurants around. Amenities - smart TVs, dishwasher, washing machine, dyson heater/fan, fridge/freezer, plenty of electrical sockets with usb charge points for phone/watch chargers etc Appearance - the apartment looked fantastic and was great quality. The carpeting in the hall/bedroom was particularly nice to walk on.

The sofa - not at all comfortable. It looked amazing but isn’t designed for lounging. The bed - very comfortable however it was ridiculously high. I’m 5ft 5” and had to do a little jump to get into the bed. I also have a bad hip. Thankfully it wasn’t acting up during our stay or I wouldn’t have been able to get into the bed at all. No good for residents with mobility issues. The mattress was almost as deep as the base was. Maybe the aparthotel could provide a little step to help vertically challenged guests or those with mobility issues.

We were attending a conference and the location was right across the road from the conference centre! The parking was a little way away from where we stayed but it was off road and it was free so we could leave our car there without worrying about it. The accommodation was simply beautiful. It was spacious and the decore was delightful. The kitchen was very well equipped and I had fun working out the fancy microwave/oven/grill....it made me want to come home and get one. It was great to have somewhere very comfortable to come home to during a week of busy conference meetings.

The studio we booked was amazing, very clean, well presented with fabulous facilities and tasteful decor. Great little kitchen/ dining area with everything you need for a short stay, including tea, milk and coffee provided. The living area although bijoux was lovely with a comfy sofa and TV. There was even an added bonus of an extra TV in the bedroom area too, along with dressing table and dyson fan! Bathroom was roomy with a huge walk in shower. It was easy to get to and information was provided via email of how to access keycards which made it simple and stress free to get in! Beautiful little studio and we will definitely book again as location was perfect for walking into town. Photos on booking.com did not do it justice!

The only negative about our studio stay was the parking, which is located at another property this was a short walk away, 0.4 miles so not a major inconvenience, however it’s uphill on the way back and there is a drop off point outside so it wasn’t a major issue for us, and we knew this would be the case so it wasn’t an unexpected surprise. An open bottle of Prosecco didn’t fit in the fridge once opened so we had to drink it, if that’s a negative?!

We stayed in the coach house. This was our own little apartment in a quiet location but only a 5 minute walk from the town centre and 2 minute walk to the beautiful Valley gardens. We were given a code for the security key box to let ourselves in. I cannot express enough how nice and comfortable this apartment was. We were very pleasantly surprised at how modern and spacious it was , it even had its own small patio which is a little suntrap. It was very clean with everything we needed. Location was superb. Certainly did not disappoint and will definitely be booking again.
