Breakfast was fine though staff could probably save themselves time by having a jug of orange juice as well as the milk so clients can serve themselves. Bathroom and room weee very clean, neat and well presented with towels stacked etc

It should be much clearer on the instructions that ‘nine jars’ is the name of the place to look for as unless you go to the car park first and right to the back of the car park you just would never find the place. It took us twenty minutes to find it and sat BACs of different types didn’t direct us to it very well. Perhaps what three words or similar may be helpful for people who aren’t local

Bed was comfy but could have been enhanced with 2 x pillows per person. Bathroom and Room very clean. Car park worked well. The cook breakfast was excellent.

We had no mugs in our room so unable to have a tea or coffee in the morning, despite there being supplies. We didn't notice the night before as had spent little time in our room after arriving. Shower caps need to be provided due to style of shower. The supplies on breakfast table, ie Milk and juice were empty when we arrived down, but they were replaced. We found hotel hard to find as Suffolk Hotel name was high upon building . At eye level, it was called another name.

The staff here were incredibly friendly and absolutely made the trip. For any negatives I had about my stay, they were made up for by how friendly the staff were. Breakfast was delicious and the cocktails that the bar served were top notch. The hotel is centrally located in Haverhill and very handy. If I find myself back in Haverhill I'd absolutely stay here again.

Could've been a bit cleaner. The carpet was either quite dusty/murky or very old. The bathroom sink was very small and had a little shelf above it that made brushing your teeth in the sink a real challenge. Everytime I had to use the sink, water got everywhere due to its size. Besides those two things it was a lovely stay.

Room and ensuite in very good decorative order, easy to check in and out, choice and quality of breakfast very good.

It wasn’t explained in advance that entry to the hotel after the restaurant hours was at the back of the hotel. This involved going through a very dark alleyway with no idea where I would find the doorway. As I was travelling on my own this was not a pleasant experience. I also experienced difficulty in finding the hotel on arrival in the daylight. I did not know it was above a restaurant with a different name. Although there was a sign, it was high up on the wall and difficult to spot unless you crossed the road.

Hotel was nice. Check in and out was easy. Parking ok

We were in the deluxe room. The matress was awful. Ok if u like memory foam but wasn't comfortable. Only managed 3 hours sleep. Was either too hot or too cold. Church outside ringing the bells early Sunday morning was a pain. Although check out was easy I just felt and welcome and goodbye was missing. Room was quite dark so needed light on. Room Was right above the bar, a bit noisy but music was off by midnight but everyone leaving, took a while to quieten down. Think it was cos of where our room was situated on the street.

central location was a blessing and a curse. Large room, comfortable bed, large modern bathroom. NCP parking at rear was very reasonable. Good breakfast included.

Room 8 was at the front of the property overlooking the high street. Significant street noise from people leaving the pubs disturbed our sleep a little. wasn’t helped because we had the windows open as the radiator was blasting out heat even though it said it was showing off. Only one towel provide for two people.

The room was very big, clean and well appointed. It exceeded our expectations for the area. The shower room was lovely and there were nice touches like the illy coffee machine, fridge and safe.

It is above a pub, so Friday and Saturday nights are noisy until late into the night and periodic shouting in the street too. There's not much they can do about that though, as the location is so central. Better curtains would be nice too, as they don't fit the windows well and as it is on the street the light does come in.

How central it was and it suited out needs Having the air con machine was perfect because the room was warm

The top part of the room had a lot of cobwebs all around the light and The windows and blinds and the cups were to small for tea along with nothing to stir the sugar with BUT I would still visit again because these are all minor details

The room had not been cleaned properly before our arrival as the waste bin was still completely full of rubbish. We advised the staff, who did not see me overly interested.

Perfect location, right in the middle of the high street. Great bar and restaurant area with very nice outside area. Can't comment on the food. Room was spacious and very quiet. Easy access to pick up the keys and to check in.

Very few lights were working and the bathroom was almost in the darkness, may be it is done to save energy but for a hotel it did not look great.
