Breakfast was amazing! You need to fill a form every night choosing what you are going to have in the morning and Willy prepares everything for every table (it is possible to try some scottish items such as haggis or black pudding if you want to) - it was a very complete meal. Willy was very helpful and available during our stay. The room had a nice size and was comfortable. Bathroom has a nice shower and exhaust fan. Every guest receives a key for the room and a tag for the front door (easy way in and out of the place). Location is good and we could easily walk to and from the center of Inverness.

There was not a place in the bathroom where we could leave a necessaire and essential items. Parking space in front of the property is limited to 4 cars, on a first-come first-served basis. From our room it was possible to hear live music from the hotel in front during one evening, but it didn't go too far into the night.

Perfect location, near to the town center but in a quiet surrounding. Parking places are also available (although on first come, first serve basis, but usually there is enough parking place). The guesthouse is pretty cozy, the room was comfortable and very well equipped. The early check-in process works wonderfully. The breakfast was fantastic, you have a great view of the castle from the breakfast room. You can choose from different cooked breakfast options. The hosts were most welcoming and kind. I would definitely stay here again!

Soundproofing is not perfect, although this was no issue for me, it might disturb someone.

Super clean and cosy. Decor is cute and tasteful. Comfy beds, plenty of space in our room (we had a 3-person family room) Gorgeous views over the Castle and Town. The bathroom was lovely and breakfast was amazing!! Literally cannot fault the accommodation or the lovely, friendly owners. We will absolutely be back and we will be recommending to our friends and family xxx

Nothing - everything was great!

The breakfast was really well cooked (best scrambled eggs I had in 5 hotels). We love cheese in the morning so we were happy to find cheddar. Rooms were very spacious, with chairs, table, something to put your luggage on, big bathroom.. Beautiful view on the castle from one of our rooms (although it was foggy and the castle undergoing renovations). Also I got sick in the morning (bad migraine) and the person in charge of the breakfast gave me some food, altough the breakfast wasn't opened, so I could eat and take my medicine, it was conforting.

Upon arrival one room was super hot the other super cold and we had trouble adjusting the temperature (especially cooling down the hot one since the opening permitted by the windows was super small)

Everything about this guest house is spectacular. The location, the comfort, the staff, the breakfast, the room, the bed and the shower. The room I stayed in (number 3) was very big (featuring one double and one single bed) with plenty of space to 'live' in. I had bedside lamps, USB wall chargers, a large desk with plenty of information on it (including the free WiFi code), two large mirrors and an absolutely fantastic bathroom (the shower was/is fantastic) and the decor, throughout, is flawless. The breakfast featured the best porridge I've ever eaten and there is enough food to satisfy everyone (cooked and continental). Plus the view from the breakfast room is overlooking the castle! The owners are absolutely fantastic as well and I would highly recommend the Ardentorrie Guest House to anyone.

I have nothing negative so say about anything.

The hotel is easy to find, well located for access around Inverness and the room and bathroom were all spotless. Breakfast was served promptly at the time of my choosing and delicious.

The only (minor) fault I would highlight was the mattress on the bed wasn't the best. It was quite thin, such that I could feel the bedframe slats through it. Fine for a night, but it would be more of an issue for a longer stay as not the most comfortable sleep.

Lovely castle view room with all amenities required. Water pressure was a little slow in the shower but water was very warm and the room was very cosy and warm even with snowy conditions outside. The Guest House owners kindly accommodated my vegan dietary requirements and I had a very nice cooked breakfast on my second morning. The only downside was the first morning I was there, I was booked on a day trip which left at 7.45am and the breakfast sitting didn't start until 8am so I wasn't able to have breakfast on the first day but obviously it was my choice to do the day trip. The price of this Guest House was by far the cheapest of my entire Highlands trip and given the central location, free parking for my car, breakfast included and comfortable amenities, this was great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly host, very nice breakfast (try the smoked fish!), central location. Beds were acceptable (a bit squeky, and mattress on the hard side for my preference), other amenities were in good order. Free parking in front of the house. We paid 77 euros for 2p, 1 night and would say it was good value for money. Definitely recommended!

The city of Inverness itself wasn't really that interesting, but that's not that easy to change for the owner ;)

Can't say enough good things about this property! The room was large and comfortable, with a nice selection of included amenities. Coffee/tea and biscuits, soap and shampoo in the bathroom, as well as a large amount of information of the city and the highlands in general. This was really helpful for additional trip planning. The bathroom was lovely! The shower had great water pressure and the heater was amazing! The room had plenty of outlets and the beds were super comfortable! The hot cooked breakfast was the tastiest we had during the entire trip!! They provide free on site parking, which was extremely convenient! I'm planning on staying here again during my next visit!😊

Absolutely nothing!

This is the most brilliant place to stay in Inverness! The room really was really fantastic - spacious, super clean, comfortable, warm - you honestly couldn 't get better. Plenty off-road parking at accommodation and the location is absolutely perfect for a stay in Inverness. Quiet, but just minutes and a very easy walk from the town centre and all amenities. Beautiful view of the castle and riverside - probably the best view in Inverness - and the breakfast is cooked to absolute perfection. Very friendly staff and proprietor - and nothing is a problem. If Ardentorrie have a vacancy, I really wouldn't even think of staying elsewhere - preferred accommodation by far - and I 've stayed in a lot of places in Inverness, over many, many years. You really would be very fortunate indeed to get the chance to stay!!

There is truly absolutely nothing not to like about Ardentorrie!!
