The kinloch is very cute and it has what you need, a place to stay while you discover Inverness and the Isle of Skye. Very clean and very comfortable stay, the room had a skylight which is perfect for viewing the night sky after a long and tiresome day. The bathroom was clean and comfortable to use and the facilities were there for everyone to use

I don't recommend this for taller people, as your head would bump all over the low ceiling, but for short folk, it's your place. The room was 2 floors up and with luggage that was not easy, I do recommend you bring a backpack or a light carryon on your trip to Inverness if you're going to stay with kinloch. Other than that's it's a beautiful place to stay.

The easy check in , check out. Plenty teas/coffees etc and towels. Never saw any staff.Stayed for 4 nights.

The shaving light in Rm1 at the little sink was filthy. The casing has not been cleaned for a long time. The electric trip switches for my room went off during the football on the 10th July.I gave it 20 mins nothing came back on.So I decided to locate the electrical box which is in the dining room and saw the switches that had tripped and push them back up and Hey presto everything was back on.Even though I had missed the first half which was annoying..It wasn't disastrous .

I had a top floor double room which was very comfortable and spacious. Considering the closeness to the city centre it was amazingly quiet. The ensuite was functional. Good facilities in the kitchen.

You could hear people in other rooms and on two consecutive two mornings I was woken at 6.20 by an extractor fan in one of the rooms, so best to take ear plugs. The main issue, as other guests have mentioned, is the lack of any breakfast provided. It's a pity that not even a continental breakfast is provided. The shower in the ensuite needs replacing, not least the shower doors.

Other guests were very nice chatty and considerate, no noise, I was in room 6 top floor, sky view and very bright, really fun 4 days, under the roof and when it was windy it was so fun and cosy, confortable and enjoyable, everything was perfect, nothing was missing even they provided shampoo conditioner and shower gel which is great as when you travel by plane with hand luggage you can’t bring big bottles. I loved the guide book sent the day before travelling. The location was excellent 2 minutes to the high street 4 minutes to the bus stop to the airport and 6 minutes to the bus station Bed and pillow very confortable and bedding spotless clean

Shower did not work fully to wash my hair I am very tall and I am not sure I could work it, it was very slow to come out and took a very long time to rinse my hair as it was just a drizzle after the 3rd day I noticed if I sat in the shower and I was lower it was a bit more water coming out if the shower head Anyway not much of a problem in the winter everything else was amazing and if I come to Inverness I will definitely stay in room 6 again Thank you

I have stayed at Kinloch Lodge before but with the previous owner. The room and facilities were the same as they had been during previous stays. With MyStayInn managing the property, it was all done remotely, so they were always quick to reply to any queries or messages. A guide was sent just before travel and used like an app and everything needed was on the app.

Lack of staff at the property and I had to make alternative arrangements for breakfast as it wasn't being served at the property. However, I was made aware of this change in circumstances before I travelled, so I adapted and made other plans to have breakfast.

My host was so friendly and accommodating. He got up early to make breakfast for me because I had to leave early for a tour one morning. The breakfast was delicious! Fresh berries that were at their peak, delicious coffee, lovely toast, and juice. I'm vegan, and I got a good breakfast. The place was also spotlessly clean, and very easy to access downtown from. The bathroom was very roomy. I had plenty of room for all my things, and I was provided with ample towels.

The water pressure in the shower could have been better, and the holder for the removable shower head slipped up and down a bit. The bed was okay, but not as comfortable as I would have liked, and the chair in the room was wobbly and not safe to sit on. The room was otherwise very well furnished, however.

Very nice, traditional B & B in a cracking, quiet spot yet just a few minutes from all the facilities that central Inverness has to offer. The biscuits and crisps in the room were a lovely touch and much appreciated. Sandy was a welcoming host - as soon as I said we had two rooms booked he immediately knew who we were and showed us to our rooms, no other check in hold ups needed! (Check out was also pleasingly simple, just leave your keys in the room and go on your way). I liked the breakfast concept, where you can effectively make up your own custom cooked breakfast comprising only the elements you actually want, a great way to save on wasted food. The car park across the road from the B & B had plenty of spaces, and being free overnight meant it effectively cost just £3 for the duration of the time we were there.

Whilst it didn't bother us in the slightest (I actually think they have worked miracles in utilising the available space as well as they have) the tiny toilet/shower room might not be to everyone's taste.

We liked everything about Kinloch Lodge - it's a cut above the rest. The room was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We were delighted with lovely little touches like the selection of snacks, the state-of-the-art light fittings,, the refrigerated display which held the fresh fruit, juice and milk for breakfast. A lot of thought has gone into making things as nice and enjoyable as possible. The dinner menu has an incredibly extensive range of exotic and vegan dishes. And Alasdair was delightful- he made us feel so welcome, we had a lovely chat with him over breakfast and put the world to rights!

We didn't like having to leave! :-D We loved it there.

The host was kind and welcoming. We felt comfortable in our room, and it was decorated so cute. The included breakfast is simple but a nice inclusion to the stay. Note that the lodge is very close to the town center but is accessed via a bunch of steps, which means coming back you have to climb up the same steps.

If you have a car, you have to pay for street parking, unless you do what we did, which was to leave to explore the Highlands before 8am and return after 6pm to avoid paying (have to pay between 8am-6pm). The parking isn't expensive however.

The Kinloch Lodge is lovely and Sandy was a wonderful host. This was, hands down, the most comfortable bed I slept on in Scotland! And breakfast was delicious. I wish I was able to stay more than one night and will definitely book again when I'm back in Inverness.

Checking in was a little difficult because you have to ring the doorbell, which rings into the back area of the house where Sandy lives, but apparently you really have to push the doorbell quite hard for it to ring (and we weren't aware of that). We ended up getting some help from the neighbors to contact Sandy, so it was not a big deal.
