I loved our stay. I only stayed for a short period, one night, so we dropped our bags and head out again, but our check-in lady was lovely (I don't remember her name even though she introduced herself), she gave us keys and tips and it was very pleasant. The spending the night part was great, the bed was comfortable, there was tea, biscuits and coffee on our nightstand and the water pressure in the shower was absolutely amazing. In the morning the breakfast was beautiful, honestly, there's something about a simple but well made breakfast table that shows you how much the hosts are caring people. We got freshly baked croissants and that was a great start of the day. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, it was a great value.

If you aren't a vegan, home made pastries every morning! The staff we really nice and helpful and I was able to park my bike out the back, looking out for cyclist was a nice touch.
We enquired at booking for a vegan breakfast, however this hadn't been communicated and when I arrived there was no vegan items. There was no plant milk (I had to borrow from another guest!). They did buy oat milk but then bought some chocolate milk the following day!? A bit more effort is needed to cater for vegan and people with special dietary needs/ food allergies.

Really nice host and it had everything you need for a short trip to Inverness. Breakfast simple but enough to start your day.
We had a rental car, so we only wanted a place with a parking lot. At the booking website we were garantueed public parking for 4 Pounds a day. In the end it was a parking lot, were its only possible to stand for 3 hours and for that we had to pay 3 Pounds. So it was stressful to be back after 3 hours and it was a lot more money. So espacially for longer trips thats a problem and wrongly comiunicated.

Great hosts. Very helpful. Excellent Continental breakfast.
I didn’t realize that there second floor was actually the third floor. Apparently “normal” in the UK. First floor is the ground level, second floor is the first floor and the third floor is called the second floor. My husband was sick and I would never have intentionally booked a third floor room. I guess that was my mistake for not knowing. And one of the other guests was smoking. A little overwhelming when we first walked in.

David and Nancy were amazing hosts. Very welcoming. Rooms were comfortable and cosy with fresh milk in mini fridges. The smell of fresh croissants drifting up the stairs from the kitchen in the morning filled the senses and awakened the soul. Hearing a playlist with the Pixies during breakfast made me smile. Incredible cafetière coffee. We’ll be back at some stage. Thank you.
In honesty there was nothing negative about this property. Full stars.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome. I stayed for four nights. The room was big enough and I had everything I needed. I really enjoyed the delicious breakfast and trying the Scottish croissant. The bed was comfy. The staff was very friendly. I'd definitley come back, when I'll come back to Inverness.

Excellent location. Right across from the steps which lead down into the town.
Had to pay for parking. Bigger towels in the bathroom would be great. No hot breakfast.
