Pleasant staff, comfortable, pristinely clean room and bathroom, with all needed amenities. Good pub for onsite food and drink. Location is good, but steep for uphill walk back from the town for anyone who might be mobility impaired.

Too dog friendly for me; no consideration for guests who are not dog lovers. Staff behind the bar also serving food were petting dogs and faces, etc. then not washing hands after the encounters when returning behind the bar. The sleeping room and bathroom were pristinely clean but the hallways up the stairs to the sleeping rooms smelled stale and musty. While it seemed overpriced to me, lodging in Inverness seems across-the-board high for a city its size so it may be comparable to others.

Such a cozy room and in a great location, super easy to walk to central Inverness. The bed was very comfortable. The pub on the ground floor was really good and the staff there were SO kind and friendly. I would go back just for that reason. Always had lovely conversations and every evening when I got back someone asked how my day had been.

The TV in my room was possessed… turned itself on and flipped to random channels on its own. Refused to turn off, which was a new one. No amount of resetting the settings ever did fix it, and it became a running joke for my whole stay having to physically unplug it from the wall each night. More than a bit disconcerting on the first night but honestly wouldn’t change a thing as that became part of the experience haha

We really enjoyed our stay at the Corriegarth Hotel. The room was comfortable and it's an easy walk into town.

The hotel was walking distance from the main area with music bars and restaurants. Overall, the room and the bathroom were clean. Breakfast was available to purchase in the bar downstairs.

Please buy new pillows and mattresses for the bed. The mattress was old and lumpy and the poor pillows were so old and flat! The available breakfast was very unclear. Upon check in I was told one thing about purchasing breakfast, the first morning we were served breakfast by a lovely man and it was one price, the next day we ate the same breakfast but had a different server who did not make us feel welcomed and charged us twice the price as the first day explaining in an unkind way that “nothing in life is free”.

Nice pub , friendly staff , good location, good food.

Our room was very small - we had booked for two dogs to come with us , sadly we only took one as lost the other- the room was very cramped even for one dog bed and very hot ( not staffs fault - it was a very hot day) we sat outside til 11pm as too hot to sit in room with our dog. No fans available. We had breakfast included but had to leave at 8 am ( to catch a ferry) just as breakfast service started . I asked the night before if something could be left available for us but was told chef didn’t start til 8am. Some cereal/ fruit/ yogurt would have been nice

Enjoyed our stay from start to finish. This was our first time at the Corriegarth Hotel and it certainly wont be our last. Right from the minute we arrived the staff were first class, the room was lovely and clean, the food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent and they are a doggie friendly hotel, well they certainly couldn't have made our pooch more welcome. It is well situated for walking into the town centre too. All in all one of the best most friendly hotels we have stayed in. Thank you

The location is excellent. Access from transport links was excellent. Both breakfast and the two evening meals we purchased were superb. The staff were very informative when asked about travel, directions into Inverness. Plenty of tourist info leaflets available at entrance.

The room could do with a little bit of sorting eg. The curtains were a poor fit and let loads of light in early in the mornings. Not sure what was happening with the bed and the topper mattress, although it was not uncomfortable, I suspect it could do with a new mattress.

A great pub/hotel! John the manager was so lovely & welcoming, such a gentleman. Much cheaper prices than in the CBD. Lovely atmosphere & not far from town. The room was comfortable but in hindsight I should have booked a bigger room even though John the manager offered us an upgrade which we were most appreciative of but declined due to settling in. Keep up the great work John & team! Thanks so much.

A bit of advice just choose the right accommodation for your length of stay & needs.

Very dog friendly and friendly local pub. Excellent service from host, John the manager. Fantastic beer, food, when you can get it, v good breakfast. Very comfortable room.

No housekeeping during stay, so no tea and coffee for your morning brew. Inexperienced staff didn't know what they were doing, but more annoying, the more experienced senior staff didn't support or guide new staff. When the manager was away staff just couldn't be bothered to engage with customers.

The property is historic and charming. The room was large and well-equipped. Included a bathtub, which I really needed. It was very quiet and walkable to anything we needed.

I wish we had opted to include breakfast, but it was fine. Also cleaning the window sills a bit better? The property is dated, but we really liked it. The pub downstairs is also charming.
