A large, light room with stunning views across countryside to far hills. A large comfy bed with lots of pillows to choose from. No wardrobe but we only stayed overnight so it wasn't a problem. Tea, coffee, etc all complementary in the room, as were the generous toiletries in the bathroom. Shower water was hot and plentiful in a good sized shower. Full English breakfast was delicious as well as lots of other choices. The hosts were super helpful and friendly.

Nothing!

Maureen is a super host...warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was large, homely, very comfortable with a tv, tea making facilities, homemade biscuits and a lovely view over the hills and fields. The shower was hot and toiletries were available if needed. The information booklet provided details of the breakfast which was first class! Excellent range of homemade muesli, bread etc and all requirements catered for. We would love to pay a return visit!

There was nothing to dislike!

Very clean and did the job for what we needed. We only stayed the one night as we was attending a wedding down the road, but would happily stay again if we was to come back. Maureen was friendly and was very accommodating with an early check in so we could sort ourselves out before we went to the wedding and the breakfast was really good and the homemade shortbread in the room was a nice touch. We also had a lovely view from our room also. Excellent value for money :)

A traditional house we were looked after beautifully, both on arrival and throughout. Super range of breakfasts from full English, American pancakes and maple syrup to poached egg on toast and everything in between. A beautiful spot with a gorgeous view on quiet back lanes. A secure place for our bikes, parking for the car and hosts who were very considerate of our dog. Just perfect. Highly recommend.

Nothing could have been better.

From booking the room it was excellent we had a couple of questions regarding how far it was from from the wedding we was attending and Maureen replied straight away also she emailed about how we would like our rooms which I thought was amazing . Breakfast was amazing also . Nothing was to much from start to finish booking this air b b . Absolutely amazing. Definitely 10 out 10

Maureen was friendly, welcoming and really helpful. The room was clean and we both liked the little details such as home baking and the themed pictures and table lamps. Bed was really comfortable as well. Breakfast was delicious with again some home made items and a decent choice of cereals etc. Cooked breakfast was well made. On site parking was welcome but the sloped driveway beside Maureen's home is tricky at night so perhaps a security light that comes on when reversing in/driving in would help.

The only drawback on what was a lovely stay was the water temperature for the shower. We followed the direction of running the hot tap for the sink before starting the shower but even with that it was still luke warm.

I had a very comfortable stay, with everything I needed. There was a great choice at breakfast and it was very tasty. I was especially pleased that there were hooks in the bathroom where I could hang my towel and clothes (having recently stayed somewhere that had no hooks!) I would be very happy to stay at Plumtree House again.

Comfortable, warm, welcoming. Very quiet and peaceful! Nice room with soft bed and plenty of pillows. Lovely rural view. Private off-road parking. Free internet. Tea, coffee, and home-made biscuits in room (delicious, thank you!). Great cooked breakfast. We would love to come back next time we're in the area!

Narrow, winding roads were a bit challenging in places...

a lovely old house with big comfortable en-suite rooms. beautiful views from both bedroom windows. Delicious breakfast, Maureen had got oat milk and gf bread to suit our dietary requirements, this was much appreciated. Her poached eggs were very good indeed! The Wheatsheaf pub was a pleasant stroll away offering a good choice of food and drinks.

there are quite a few steps, which I don’t find easy, but Maureen kindly carried my case up to my room.

The breakfast was fantastic. The host was very helpful with places to see around her airbnb. The drive to her place was breathtaking a little to long but it was great. The directions were spot on. I will stay here again.

I little to far away but it worked because we got to go to The Beatrix Potter House ,Hawkshead and the Lake District after we left. So it was worth the drive.
