Nicely decorated room with great bathroom and shower. Comfy bed

Felt that there wasnt a personal greating on arrival. No option for an evening meal, not even sandwich and soup as stated in information sent after booking. Felt that room was over priced as breakfast was not included in cost and due to time of year only available breakfast was breakfast balms at an extra cost.

Really nice. We booked a suite which was Ideal for our family with separate twin room for the children and large modern stylish bathroom. It's the second time we have stayed in the same suite and would really recommend it. We had a really good time there and would definitely use again if we are travelling to the area.

The maid service is 'on request' which we only found out about on the last day of our 3 day stay. It would have been nice to have the beds made, fresh towels and have the cups and glasses cleaned or replaced daily. The TV in the twin room (children's room), wasn't a smart TV which would help keep them entertained with Prime Video & Netflix, etc. We thought it was strange as the TV in the main bedroom was a smart TV. I'm really nit-picking though as they had there own ipads etc, so it wasn't really an issue at all.

The view from the bar, the staff were polite, cheerful and friendly, the golf course looked brilliant (I'll be back to play it one day). Nice 25 mins walk into Kendal. Breakfast was tasty and good value. Games room excellent.

Room slightly on the smaller side but enough for 2 nights. Price was good but feel it could always be a bit cheaper. Smell of damp socks in communal hall leading to the rooms.

Great value for money for a one night stay. Convenient location for walking into Kendal town centre. Staff were helpful and friendly. Wonderful vegetarian breakfast. Nice to have a small bottle of water in room too. Also not very often you actually have conditioner in the bathroom so that was nice

Check in time was quite restrictive, but we managed to collect our key on time Poor view out of our room (car park), but we weren’t in the room for that long

The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciated having 2 pillows each. The bathroom was huge, including a huge shower which was amazing and a large bathtub. There was shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel stocked up which was really handy. The location was great, really close to the town centre. Just a very short drive. The area was quiet and the staff were very welcoming. We was upgraded on arrival to a bigger room which was really appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The plug in the bath wouldn’t seal very well and so the water would empty quickly. It would have been nice to have had a smart TV.

The staff allowed me to check out early by one day due to the snow in the area when I visited. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. I used the golf course on the first (discounted as I was a guest). The club house was great for breakfast/lunch.

The bathroom window needs to be sealed better to stop some of the traffic noise

Breakfast was at the club house and was exceptional. My husband couldn't finish his. We also visited for a sandwich and drinks which were also great.

The Lodge we stayed in was a little dark when we left the building to go to the club house or when we had to walk to get our taxi.

Staff were so welcoming and accommodating and informed us beforehand that we would be moving rooms due to a broken boiler. Room was immaculately clean and warm. Superb location, Kendal only a 5 minute drive away.

Would be nice to have included breakfast in the price. Mattresses were a little too soft for us but that is just personal preference!

The staff at this place are amazing but Shannon is absolutely exceptional! She went above and beyond to help us out in so many ways when our car broke down just as we arrived for our weekend away. If you like a friendly face, some one who will find you a way, she's your person! As well as this, the room was great and well decorated, the big hot powerful shower was super and the bathroom modern and spacious! The food was good too for evening and breakfast. Free parking and secure lodge.

Everything very modern, comfortable and clean. Staff pleasant. Food simple, but good and made with pride. Beautiful view from bar and dining lounge. Parking adjacent to our room. The shower in our bathroom was a particularly good one - temperture easily copntrolled, plentiful pumped water, detachable head, adjustable jet.

I would have liked an EV charging point.
