Friendly staff and ok sized room

Not Leeds centre, 12 minutes walk, miss leading. First 2 card keys would not work so had to trail downstairs to get them replaced. Then a member of staff opened our closed door once we were inside , they had a key card also?? Breakfast quality is poor. Sausage tasted cheap, they didn't taste very nice. Beans cold , mushrooms bland no flavour same with scrambled egg. The toaster took forever and the coffee was weak. The room was nice but the Aircon was not very cold on a very hot night so we did not sleep well at all and there was only one shower towel between the two of us . Had to ask for another. Disappointed as it wasn't cheap.and a bottle of water medium size approx over 4 pounds or small one over three pounds :o

The layout of the room. Minimalist, but very practical. Simple, clean decor. I was very impressed by the design of the ensuite; very clean, practical and functional. Easy to clean and maintain for the staff.

The most annoying thing was the parking. I was new to Leeds, so finding parking was extremely stressful. The site does not have it's own carpark. The nearest public carpark was metres away, but the road layout and traffic flow made it extremely difficult to get to. After ending up in the wrong lane at the first attempt, it took me an extra half hour to drive round the spaghetti road layouts at the centre of Leeds to get to the carpark !!!

Value for money, the room wasn't the best but I've stayed in much worse. The en-suite faciliteter was small but well set out and clearly well thought out to make the most of the space. The location was very easy to find, one road directly from the train station.

There was a problem with the lift which wasn't å problem for me but might have been for someone on a higher floor. The hotel is just outside the city centre, in a very quiet residential and student area. The street lighting isn't good and some may find it a little menacing at night time, though this wasn't an issue for me.

staff were very helpful and very polite and friendly, i'm disabled blue badge holder and they didn't know if i could park on the single yellow line road outside the hotel, i can legally park on double yellow lines too(not if kerb is painted also), i did fully explain it to the two lads but i'm not sure if they took me seriously or not, maybe the company could train them further on parking around the neighbourhood for disabled guests, the 6pm-8am and 8am-6pm restrictions does not apply to disabled blue badge holders.

i thought about this but i couldn't find anything i didn't like.

Arrived hot and bothered - walking to the hotel in the blistering heat/ loads of roadworks etc and the young man on reception was like a calming balm bless him. He demonstrated how to open the door to the accommodation and put me on the top floor as he thought it would be more peaceful for me! He offered to order me a taxi so I'd get to the Pet Shop Boys Concert in good time and it duly turned up at the arranged time. Can't praise the staff enough, kind, considerate and most empathetic. My room was clean and comfortable; particularly liked the little seat by the bed- pretty and practical. I'll definitely be booking again!

Having to negotiate the traffic roadworks to get there- that wasn't the hotel 's fault though!

Easy to get to by Uber from the centre (we paid about a fiver at midnight) and once you find the quick route into the centre it’s a lot easier than the way my stupid phone satnav sent us! Quiet location (although next to major dual carriageways) due to good window soundproofing, comfy beds and pillows, pleasant staff at hotel.

Rooms a bit tired and bathroom similar to one we had on a ferry with plastic walls but it was functional and very clean which for a convenient stay for centre was all we needed.

The staff who checked us in were great and even went out of their way to put us on the same floor as our friends

I was waiting for a lift and had to stand next to a team of housekeepers being told off by what I assume was their supervisor. She was talking to them so disrespectfully, she was degrading and embarrassing them right in front of me and other guests waiting for the lift. She was an Eastern European and should not be in a leadership role- I hope senior management see this and teach her how to talk to her staff with respect. And at least ensure it’s not done in front of guests.

Aside from having to navigate the front of the building which is currently undergoing essential refurbishment, the whole stay was perfect from start to finish. We arrived slightly early and had a beer in the comfy bar area before we checked in. Free wifi is excellent. Rooms are spacious, comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The location of the hotel is just a little walk from the city centre area, but the area of town we needed to be (brudenell social club) was just a short walk away so it was perfect for us, and the price, for a weekend, was great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and spacious room, comfy bed, bathroom (included towels, soap, shampoo and hair drier), and optimal room temperature (not hot, not cold). Breakfast was great: continental with many options, good illumination and sufficient tables.

Location, basically: it's a bit outside the city center, at a corner hardly accessible to pedestrians because of high-commuted and speedy streets connecting to the main highway; also, there are few services nearby (a few restaurants only).

The room was very clean and the location easy to get to. I liked the room, being on the tenth floor was a little daunting especially when the lift went out of service. I am challenged with mobility therefore was quite taken aback when I had to go up and down ten flight of stairs. I do appreciate the fact that that this was out of the hotel's control, however, this clouded my opinion of my stay

Being on the tenth floor. I wondered about pay as you go for breakfast. I also would have liked a small fridge in the room. I wondered why there was not a phone in the room?
