We needed to book very last minute, and to my surprise, we were able to get two double rooms. We were greeted by a really friendly blonde lady (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name), who had very kindly put our rooms next to each other. The rooms were absolutely fantastic and felt very homely and clean. We all slept well, the beds were very comfortable and I can't remember having such a good night's sleep and the rooms were very quiet. We had arranged to have breakfast at 9am and Moira greeted us. She was really friendly and chatty. Breakfast was delicious she had paid attention to all the little details. I had requested oat milk the night before and they'd gone out especially to get me some for the morning. We can't praise this B&B enough. Also even though it's on the main Bath Road. It's set back and it feels and sounds like it's in the middle of the countryside. We can't wait to come back and have already recommended it to lots of family and friends. 😊

We loved it all!!! 😊

The room (5) was airy, clean, and spacious. The shower was easy to use and powerful. There was a mini-fridge and the TV was big and simple to use. The hostess was very friendly and there was a lovely waterside restaurant a 10 minute walk away. The location felt safe, the room exceeded my expectations for the price, and I enjoyed the short amount of time I spent in the room (we were competing at Windsor Horse Show so it was a late finish and early start). Highly recommend and I hope to stay again.

The bed was a little uncomfortable and the bed frame squeaked if I moved. The mini-fridge was quite loud but, in hindsight, I could have just turned it off!

Perfect location for us. Was able to check in a little earlier Big drive and they kindly accommodated us with a rowing boat on our car roof. We were adjacent to the main hotel in another building. The room had everything in, twin beds, tv, kettle, microwave and fridge ( which was a great added bonus) and wifi The beds were freshly made, smelt lovely and very comfortable. Im sure if i needed anything, the staff would have been happy to help

There was nothing to not like, other than the place was a little tired but that didnt bother us.

As a regular stayer in Maidenhead very regularly for the last 6 months, this one definitely stands out as one I will return to and I would be very happy to. On the night I stayed, there was plenty of parking, the owner (I believe) took me to the room, which was a great size. The bed perfect, shower great - all boxes well and truly ticked for a business night stay. The only negative I could see was that at the time of booking, I didn't know if I wanted breakfast/dinner which I think was suggested as available, but turned out not to be.

Friendly helpful Owners / Staff who filled our water bottles for the day and gave us useful info on trains. Clean rooms with the usual tea coffee facilities, bath and shower and hairdryer. Parking great and train (Elizabeth Line) a short walk (1 mile) away. Didn't stay for breakfast as short on time.

Nescafé standard coffee (in room) is terrible stuff!!! Maybe just a personal dislike! Little noisy with the trains but not too bad with windows shut!

Breakfast, very good, cooked specifically for me. The location was perfect for my stay. Very easy to find

My room was in the coach house/annex. The room was very small. bed mattress very hard. Sheets and towels spotless. shower room tiny, very old, mildew around the base of the shower tray. It was clean but old and very used. Furniture in the room was very random, the table lamp shade was hanging off, I took it off as it was leaning next to the bulb

Room was clean and tidy and came with a microwave, fridge and tea making facilities. Very nice shower and comfortable bed.

The room was hot, we could open the window but then we had the sounds of the trains running along the line at the back of the property. Unfortunately no breakfast available so we had to use local restaurants. be carefully driving into drive way as there are a number of large pot holes.

I went for a workshop. It was a wonderful homey atmosphere, Joseph met me on arrival and was so welcoming and that feeling of calm and welcome was everywhere in their place.

I was gone early and returned late. The room was perfect, warm, sparkling clean and loads of hot water. My room looked out on the pool and the yard. I could walk around and sit outside in the peaceful back yard. I was walking distance from the river walk and shops but it was quiet and peaceful. I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment but the dining room looked out on the back and looked very inviting.

Comfortable clean and very quiet

Arrived a few minutes before my expected final arrival time it which was 10pm. Doors were locked. Luckily there was someone smoking outside suggested I knock on the window of kitchen. Someone answered but could not get breakfast so I was disappointed. Don’t arrive late you may not get in. They said they emailed but I do not check emails while driving 4 1/2 hrs.

Proprietor Joe was very friendly and kindly accommodated me with an early check-in due to my travel plans, and was still up when I came back late that evening to show me where my room was having placed my luggage there himself. Looked like there was a nice pool but sadly didn't have time to use it.

Bed was quite hard. To be clear, this is not a modern "boutique" hotel, but rather a classic English style small traditional hotel. and as such it did exactly what you'd expect. Fine for a few nights.
