Everything was lovely except trying to find hotel/ parking.

Nothing but if stayed again would only be if came by train. We spent an hour in the end driving round in circles ( partner's sat nav needs updating). Lovely location once you have got there!

The room was well equipped with everything you could need. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Clean/spotless. Easy walking into town.

Ignore instructions on their site for parking. We went round and round until we gave up looking for their adjacent site? Just Park at the Railway Station !! Cheap and not far to walk to the hotel. Could have done with some Tourist information leaflets. Make sure you know where you plan to go before coming.

Amazing warm welcome from reception, especially Beth. Lovely hotel overall! The lobby and bar areas were very cosy and relaxing with TV screens. The hotel was literally down the road from the train station. It was also several mins walk into Market Square. Breakfast was nice and hot. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The bedrooms were very cosy indeed and clean. Beds were very warm. thick duvets for the winter season. I don't usually sleep too well but I had a very good nights sleep. Pleased there were sockets by the bedside. Kettle in the rooms. We had plenty of milk, sugars, PG Tips and my favourite coffee Kenco in the room for a warm brew.

Just a couple minors. We had a poor toilet flusher. Had to call maintenance but he came as quick as he could considering it was just after New years day. No slip mat in the shower.

The bed was very comfortable and the room facilities were good. There is no fridge so the milk for coffee is long life milk. If you are a coffee snob like us this is not great coffee. However we received 1x free coffee voucher for both of us on everyday we stayed!! Breakfast was great (good coffee too) We were moved promptly to another room when we had an issue. Location was 5 mins from the train station but 10 minutes walk from central Nottingham.

The first room we were in was cold. Even after waiting 2 1/2 hours for it to warm once the heating was turned on. We were offered a portable heater but we requested a room change as we were there for 3 nights. We had just come from Birmingham that had the same heating module and which worked well there. We therefore thought the room heating was malfunctioning. We moved rooms. The heating in the new room was the same. It never heated enough to warm the room. It kept cutting out well before the room had reached the thermostat temperature. We had to use a portable heater that was already in the new room on arrival. The hallway was always warmer than our room. The reception and breakfast room were also much warmer than our room. The room heating systems need repair.

Excellent value for what we paid. Great location and very clean.

The bathroom was old and dated, shower curtain and bits of black mould, sink and bath had patches of lost enamel and stains. This is the only thing that was negative. It wouldn’t put me off returning.

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The room and the bathroom were clean. The continental breakfast was tasty with a good selection and the staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was less than 10 minutes' walk from the railway station and within a half hour walk from other attractions like the Castle, the caves, shops and pubs. I would be very happy to stay here again.

The hotel was on a main road (on a corner), so there was some traffic noise. However, that is not the fault of the hotel, and the window glass and curtains blocked the noise sufficiently for it to become background. This wouldn't stop me from booking here again.

We checked in on 27th Dec just afterr lunch, reception staff couldn't have been more helpful . We got our room straight away. The room was well appointed & very clean. I would definitely stay again & would recommend

I don't think the heating system in our room worked, we weren't cold so I didn't try to get it fixed (room 520) as it was warm anyway. A small fridge in the room would have helpful, the tea & coffee were a lovely touch but I normally buy a pint of milk, not enough milk pods for a cuppa at night & another in the morning. I appreciate we could probably have phoned , asked for more.

all the staff were great, friendly, helpful and polite. the room was clean and spacious, well lit. very comfy bed and amazing shower! what you expected for the price. it had everything I needed for my stay!

my main problem was parking. I know that the hotel doesn't have it's own car park, the station car park is the closest and isn't too expensive but it's a bit of trek. i wouldn't recommend it for anyone who isn't good on their feet or in a wheelchair! apart from that I only had a couple of issues which were sorted out quickly and professionally, but I had to change the key card to the room 3 times! on arrival the key didn't work and was advised to keep key card away from my phone.. which I did but had to replace key 2 more times,. and 1 minor bug bear was the layout of the breakfast buffet! bacon and sausages on one side then everything else on the other side.. it didn't flow properly, in my opinion.

We were greeted warmly on arrival and everything we needed to know was explained clearly to us. We were told just to ask if there was anything we wanted. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the bar/lounge area was comfortable. A good range of food was available all day and evening, with sandwiches and pizza available 24 hours. There were plenty staff available everywhere and all were warm and friendly, made us feel like valued guests. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Nottingham.

No heated towel rail in the bathroom, but our towels still dried. I would have preferred a light on the ceiling instead of two lamps which we had to turn on and off individually, and it was still a bit dark.

I spent two nights at the Leonardo Hotel in Nottingham and was pleasantly surprised by my stay. The room was spacious and well-equipped, complete with thoughtful amenities like a kettle—perfect for a cozy cup of tea after a day of exploring. Its location is convenient, just a short walk from the train station and about a 15-minute stroll to the city center, making it easy to enjoy by the beautiful weather. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Although I didn’t get a chance to use the gym after a long day of walking, it’s a nice feature for those who want to stay active. Breakfast offered a decent selection of fresh food, providing a good start to the day. Overall, the Leonardo Hotel combines comfort and convenience, making it a solid choice for anyone visiting Nottingham. --- Feel free to modify it if needed!
