Prosecco on arrival hit the spot. Location was great. Room was modern and clean. Staff were professional and friendly.

There was a slight musty smell to our room and the corridor. We didn't have enough towels but did call and room service who were straight on it. Also the teas and coffees weren't topped up adequately, sure if we had have called reception they would have sent more up, wasn't the end of the world Room could have had complimentary water. Asked for some at reception to find 5.40 had been charged to the room ( a lot for a bottle of water). These slight little improvements would have added to our stay.

Warm, friendly atmosphere. Staff were all really professional yet , yet friendly and felt so comfortable, in all aspects of help . Room was nice, clean, and warm. They helped with a surprise birthday request at short notice . The location was perfect. Bang in the centre. Yet you didn't expirence any noise. Loved the cosiness of the hotel. Added addition, which I really wanted and liked, was the lovely gym swimming pool, steam room, and sauna . Staff were extremely helpful.. Each member of staff did an excellent job. In my opinion . Would most definitely stay again.

It wasn't really clear the gym, swimming pool , sauna, and steam room were an extra charge. Needs to be made clearer.

Hotel was in a good location for what I needed it to be. Rooms were quite small but had all the facilities needed. Temperature of the room was really good.l - overall really comfy. Breakfast was good and excellent value for the money. Staff overall really good and couldn’t do enough to help.

It would’ve been nice to have some complimentary bottles of water for the room considering it cost £331 for 2 nights. It then cost £6 to buy 2 small bottles from the bar. There was also noise disruption from upstairs in the middle of the night but I know that can’t be controlled by the hotel. It was also difficult to contact room service initially but that was resolved.

Upon arriving to the hotel the staff were lovely and professional. We did mention that on the booking we wanted rooms together or at least on the same floor which they did not do which was not good especially as I had booked the 3 rooms months before. Upon arriving in the room I was hit with a cold breeze as the window was left open in my room and it was freezing. The room itself was lovely and clean and it was a lovely space. The TV, fridge, iron, safe and ironing board etc were great to have in the room. Breakfast was amazing!!!! Loved it! There was something for everyone and everything was laid out beautifully. The brilliant thing was the lovely gentlemen who cooked fresh eggs/poached & omlette, such a lovely touch. The breakfast staff were lovely. My entire stay was amazing, the staff amazing and the hotel was amazing. We are definitely booking to go back.

There was nothing i didn't like

Fabulous staff, especially Dennis in Reception - professional, friendly and polite. Nice hotel located centrally....great for eateries, cinema and shops. Well equipped gym and swimming pool (lovely and warm!). Some works are being carried out to refurbish parts of the hotel, but that did not impinge on our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of choices. Comfy beds, blackout curtains and quiet room meant we slept well. Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries were a bonus. Good air conditioning throughout hotel, perfect in this hot weather!

The staff were all so friendly, very caring, helpful and just excellent customer service! You feel so at ease with them. Great facilities included such as hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, towels. The bath robe, toothbrush and toothpaste are available from the reception when requested. The staff also has local knowledge. It's so close to Christmas Market if you're ever thinking of visiting it, it's very central, close to shops, it has McDonald's and Taco Bell right in front of it and also the Victoria Centre which is a shopping centre. The Hotel is also just a walking distance to Nottingham Castle and Robin Hood Statue.

The windows are a little old I think, you can hear traffic from outside, cars, people, the lot. The floor is also squeaky, at one point it scared us a little bit as we thought someone else was in the room walking but it was actually from upstairs room.

The buffet breakfast was great with selection of food. Great service from Lovelle. She made sure we were happy and was very friendly and attentive. The bedroom was very clean. Also the leisure area was very clean. Great service after checking out we were able to leave our luggage in a locked room until it was time for use to leave.

The room's wasn't sound proof. You could hear every movement from the people in the room above and in the corridor.

Room was comfortable and clean. Had breakfast in my room, and the croissants were excellent - and I’m a connoisseur of croissants! Staff were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive.

Finding the place! My satnav kept telling me I was there but I couldn’t see it. Eventually, after passing the Royal Concert hall for the 3rd time, I called the hotel, and at almost the same time saw a small sign saying Access to the Hilton Hotel! So, all was well, but I was a bit frazzled.

VERY COMFORTABLE. WINDOWS ON THREE SIDES OF ROOM. GREAT LOCATION FOR SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS.

ONE THING WE HAD A SLIGHT PROBLEM WITH, AND I WOULDN'T WANT THEM PERSECUTED FOR IT, WAS UNDERSTANDING THE HEAVY ACCENT OF A NUMBER OF STAFF ON RECEPTION. THIS WAS NOT BECAUSE WE COULDN'T HEAR THEM BUT THEIR ENUNCIATION WASN'T ALWAYS CLEAR. A BIGGER PROBLEM WAS THE SHORTAGE OF PARKING AND THE CONCERN WE HAD ABOUT BEING ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE OUR CAR INEXPENSIVELY AND SAFELY. WE ENDED UP LEAVING OUR CAR AT OUR DAUGHTER'S IN WEST BRIDGFORD AND TRAVELLING IN ON THE BUS.

I had orignally requested the room I'd stayed in the year previously as that had been the first time my partner and I had taken a trip together, but records didn't go that far back, however, the lady said she'd make sure we had a nice room, and we certainly did! I wish we'd been staying more than one night to make the most of it - spacious, clean, the cans of water were a nice bonus. This hotel is so ideally located both for exploring Nottingham, and for gigs at Rock City or the Rescue Rooms. Oh, and the breakfast is wonderful! so much choice.
