The guesthouse was so clean, staff were very friendly and we had everything we needed. We stayed 3 nights and I’m happy we chose Dunarle Guesthouse

The bathroom shower doors don’t close properly so there is some clear water damage to the floor however it was no issue to us, I only wish that it doesn’t become a larger issue for the guesthouse owners

Everything was perfect, needed little help from host and there was no problem to contact with host, very nice place to stay, very clean and comfy room - also bigger than expected as usually they are small and in this guest house they are good size, I wish I could book a room with private bathroom but at the moment I am very limited with finance so I booked a room with shared bathroom and I can honestly say that the bathroom was very clean, no issues, also other guest were quiet and respectful that there are other guests so you could really have a good sleep at night, very good location. Highly recommended guesthouse and host! 👍🏻🙂 Everything was great, I only wish they have a free car park on site, this time I was travelling with my parish so by bus and not needed the car park, but when I will drive next time then would be great to have a car park. There is one next to the house but you need to pay for it. Apart from that all was really great 👍🏻 👌🏻 😊

I liked everything about this guest house. I was made to feel very welcome and the lady looking after the guest house could not have been more helpful and caring. The room was well furnished, a very good size and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good, I liked that you could choose what cooked items you wanted and they were ready for you at the time ordered. I will definitely come to stay again. This was fantastic value for money. As a guest coming alone I felt absolutely safe and welcome.

The cooked breakfast was very good. Plenty to choose from. The bedroom was nicely decorated. I had a shared bathroom which was very clean, there were bathrobes in the bedroom to use. I have not had them from a guest house before, that's a great idea. Also supplied with the towels, a face cloth and ear plugs, obviously to block out any noise at night ( there wasn't any) I use ear plugs to prevent water getting in my ears, so very useful to provide them.

No complaints about the Dunarle guest house. I mentioned to Andy, that it would be good to have some hooks in the bathroom. He said he had not long decorated it and forgot to put the hooks back. So was going to do this.

The bed was comfortable, location was excellent, minutes from main street. Kettle, tea/coffee facilities, free toiletries in shared bathroom. When I asked for new towels, halfway through my week, Joyce delivered them quickly. I had everything I needed. It didn't seem that I was, sharing the bathroom with many other people. I was able to leave my bags in guest house next door for an hour after check out. This was very helpful. Good value for money.

On arrival, I found ear plugs in my room. I suppose I'm a light sleeper. My room was right next to front door and street, so I heard a lot of noise from street and other guests coming in/out, slamming door from around 6am each morning, and through night. Not a huge problem, but it did effect my sleep. This was the only issue I had during my stay.

Good sized room, everything we needed. Initially thought the supplied earplugs meant it would be noisy but was lovely and quiet, great sleeps! Box of extra tea, milk, sugar inside front door which was a nice touch.

You are directed to pick up your keys from next door, which meant our only interaction with the owner was a 10 second doorstep handover. Not an issue, just an observation, never had as short a conversation with an owner before.

Nice and cosy room. Location is very convenient (walk to shops), with paying parking next to it. Andy, our host, was very welcoming and friendly.

On a previous stay in Oban, we stayed at another guesthouse round the corner from Dunarle, that was nowhere as good or clean. I wish we'd found it sooner. I would absolutely stay again here.

Location was perfect a little street noise but wasn’t a problem! Very very good value!

Shared bathroom not ideal but wouldn’t put me off returning although possibly would have to point it out if I was recommending to a friend. A little noise with other guests coming in to hotel a bit later but again expected and not a real problem!

Oban is a great little town and is worthwhile visiting. Dunalley guesthouse made our stay enjoyable , it was nice and cosy and really well presented. Shared bathroom is not a problem as it is well attended to during our stay of 3 nights. The breakfast is really good value as well, lots of choice and good value. Andy and Joyce do a great job of making you feel comfortable. Well done!Thanks.

Check in was quick and easy. Hotel room and shared bathrooms were spotlessly clean! The hotel smelled amazing everywhere in the building. Bed was comfortable and a nice sized room. Room had a great selevtion of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Very central to Oban centre! And great parking right next door.

Although the hotel was clean and comfortable, in general the price was rather high for the style and standard of the accomodation. Plain white bedding would improve the overall standard of the room. Mattress had a protector on it, however the pillows didn't.
