Fantastic place to stay and will stay again. Such a friendly welcome when we arrived.The room we had was lovely and so comfortable. It is only a short walk into the Main Street of Oban. The bar area is so nice and the views from there are fantastic, lovely area to sit and have a drink in the evening. We had the option to add on a breakfast box which was delivered to our room in the morning. It was really great value for money and we were able to take it with us on our travels for the day. We had a fantastic stay!

The location was perfect, very polite receptionist checked us in. Room was a great size overlooking the water. In the room we had tea & coffee facilities with some shortbread which was a nice touch. The hotel is immaculate and tastefully decorated.

We went out for dinner, by the time we got back around 9.30pm, their was no lights on in the front entrance & stairs which I didn't like only due to me being a little unsteady at times on my feet. It was very dark. The bed was very high to get in and out and this is only my preference but the mattress was extremely hard. I also found with my mobility that the shower had a step into it, but it was again quite high.

Managers Kia and Simon were so kind and helpful! Kia gave me info about the pool nearby and was so accommodating to my early arrival. They kept my bags safe after check out when I'd booked a cruise. They were sincerely caring folks and I highly recommend the hotel to travelers especially women traveling alone from overseas. I felt well cared for. Beds were super comfortable.

It's an old building and even though it's been renovated there were some spots in bathroom that looked maybe like mold. We have sensitive lungs so we worry about that.

The location is right off the road, making it easy to find, and only a short walk from the bay so we didn't have to drive. The room was very comfortable, and the staff very informative. Upon arrival, they saw our vehicle and let us park in a different spot than normal. They also were helpful with getting our luggage to our room. While there is no kitchen at this hotel, they do have a bar/social area. We just stayed out a little late and it was closed when we returned. The recommendation for a place to eat was well received and very much enjoyed.

Location was edge of town, with a 5 minute drive to the island ferry. Staff were nice and helpful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was quite large with separate sitting area, and we felt quite comfortable.

The hotel has a nice bar/ lounge area, which would be nice to have some food options for even light meals perhaps. Earliest breakfast is 8 am , which although did not bother us, is quite useless when you are catching a 7 am ferry.

The welcome was warm and friendly, the room was very clean. The en-suite seemed brand new, shower was very good. Extra tea and milk happily provided when requested. Didn’t have time to use the bar/ lounge. The reception staff (Szymon and Kajce )were friendly and helpful. We were only there overnight but will happily return when we come back to Oban. Good luck with this new venture.

Walking up the hill was a little tiring but not too bad. Not all areas fully refurbished yet

The hotel staff made it clear we could have a continental breakfast pack delivered to our room, and advised of the local cafe's that do a great breakfast locally if we preferred. We were very happy with the lounge area, where we were made to feel comfortable and relax before a music event. The rooms were a good size and had plenty coffee and tea supplied. The beds were very comfortable. Will definitely return :-)

A lovely hotel with very welcoming and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast box was good if you are happy with a continental breakfast but we went out to get a cooked meal. Restaurants 10 or 15 minutes walk away. We ordered a takeaway to be delivered to the hotel which they were happy to accommodate. A good bar with a lovely view over Oban.

A restaurant would be a bonus but we knew this before we booked

The location is perfect for the ferry, and the small village had an array of shops and places to eat. The view from the bay window is fantastic, great to admire the sunrise and sunset with a cup of coffee. Easycheck in and check out. Bar downstairs if you fancy a tipple.

The decor is slightly out dated, but obviously this doesn't affect the comfort of the room and the amazing view from the bay window. Limited car parking.

Breakfast was not available but breakfast boxes were offered. The lady on reception was so very welcoming and was a really lovely lady and very helpful. The view from our room was absolutely beautiful.

The beds were too hard for us as we like a softer mattress. I would like all hotels to put more hanging hooks in their bathrooms and 1 or 2 in the rooms wood be very useful.
