Staff were very helpful and tentative to our needs. Restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was very handy. The room was individually named, was spacious and very comfortable.
Parking was first come first served and there were only a few parking slots on the hotel site and they charged £12 per night. This was not disclosed until I had paid for the room. The other parking was a short walk away and cost £13 per night. The evening meal first night was very average and wine was the most expensive on the Quay. Same height price for breakfast which was help yourself if you chose continental style. For the remaining two days and nights we ate breakfast and evening meals on the quay. Better priced and better ambiance.

This is may favoured hotel in Poole (I am frequent visitor) and always stay here - the staff are top drawer and professional - customer service is their priority which is missing in many places - room prices can be a little high during peak periods/seasons but given the quality and location of the hotel still not excessive - looking forward to my next stay.....
Seems that some of the infrastructure of the hotel (heating, plumbing) is getting a bit tired (i had an intrusive loud humming noise in the room which evidently was caused by the boiler in basement resonating up the structure of the building I was in) although it is evident hotel is setting out to rectify and replace as needed....

We booked the Hotel due to its proximity to the Ferry Terminal as we had an early start the next morning. Check in staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The restaurant and evening meal was excellent and such a shame there were hardly any diners. Wait staff also very good.
We were offered the continental breakfast which we decided to do prior to leaving for the ferry. This was very over priced and there was not a lot of variety. Things that were supposed to be there were not ie, pastry, cold meats etc. Service was slow and we had to ask for things. If you are catching the ferry my advice is don't bother with the hotel breakfast, grab your food on board - it looked very good and lots of options.

Property was lovely throughout. Pristinely clean room and bathroom. Nice staff.
Air con wasn’t working in the first room we were shown to and if we hadn’t of asked to be moved they would’ve happily left us there suffering the heat as it was a very warm weekend. Second room we were given had air con but it wasn’t very efficient and didn’t really keep the room cool enough at all. There was also a very strong overpowering smell of air freshener in the room with an unpleasant underlying smell which I kept getting a nasty waft of. Some of the rooms are dog friendly and I wondered if perhaps there had been an accident on the carpet that had left a nasty odour. Parking is very limited and also a charge for it even though you are staying in the hotel.

Lovely stay warm welcome, a bit disappointed that the room didn’t have the bath that was in the pictures but that’s not the end of the world will definitely stay again.

Loved the location and the staff were fantastic.
Nothing. The only slight negative was our room was quite hot at night. A/c appeared not to be on but we just opened a window

I booked two double rooms . One room for 2 people and one room for 1 person. After we had checked in and shown our rooms we discovered that the one room allocated to the single was large with a large size bed and the room allocated to the 2 people was smaller and only a normal double bed. I think more care could have been taken by staff allocating the rooms to check this sort of thing. Yes we could have changed rooms but it seemed unfair for our daughter to have to repack and swop. Having said that she would have done this. In my opinion more care could have been taken by checking and allocating the rooms approatly. Only other comment Air conditioning system was very noisy and no instructions as to how to turn it off. I just pressed all of the buttons until it stopped.

Beautiful and well-equipped room. Enjoyed the teas and coffee available in the room. Really good location in Poole for The Quay area. In a nice old building too. Nice and quiet at night.
Quite a compact room with no lift to reach it. We weren't in the main hotel building, so after arriving in the pouring rain we had to head outside again - I only mention this because if you struggle with steps you would want to ask to be in the main hotel. It also meant we didn't go back to the bar or have anywhere to sit outside of the room itself.

The restaurant and the waiting staff were all lovely, we had a really nice meal in nice surroundings. The hotel has some amazing murals on the walls and is beautifully decorated throughout. We had a car parking space next to the hotel but there is just one so you need to be lucky as there is no other nearby parking.
There is no lift and a number of steps at the front of the hotel followed by lots of up and down steps in the hotel which isn't easier with cases. The pillows had died so were not very comfortable to sleep on. The room was quite warm and the window was either broken or sealed but would only open a couple of inches. There is no make up/shaving mirror in the bathroom.
