We stayed here overnight while waiting to catch the ferry the following morning, and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. The room was beautifully decorated and every little detail had been thought of, from a wide range of products in the bathroom to some specially made brownies in the fridge (gluten free for me!). We did have a chance to catch dinner in the bar/restaurant that evening and enjoyed a wonderful roast. When we told staff that we had to leave at the crack of dawn the next day they offered to put together a little breakfast for us the night before so that we wouldn’t go hungry. We will definitely stay here again!
Nothing!

fabulous room, beautiful design, spaciousness, quality bedding, size of bed. Roll top bath in the room plus large bathroom. I was travelling solo for work and live 2 hours drive away. Because the room was so gorgeous I phoned my husband to come and share it with me, so he drove down from London especially to join me. I had to leave early the next morning for my appointment but left him with a late check out snuggled up in the magnificent bed. Room 1 'Sandbanks'
when i arrived i could see a LOT of dust and hair under the bed (wood floor and high bed. As i have allergies this would have been a problem for me, however I managed to catch a member of staff who immediately came to vacuum it all up. So all was sorted straight away to my satisfaction. Thats the only reason why I marked cleanliness down. everything else was spotless. I should imagine this is unlikely to happen again now their attention has been drawn to it.

Cooked breakfasts very good and staff happy to accommodate particular preferences. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We were given a refund for the breakfasts that did not materialise due to lack of gas for outside kitchen one morning, which was appreciated.
Continental breakfasts looked rather limited. Some confusion when there was no gas for outside kitchen and no cooked food available. Also very little available on continental breakfast table. We waited a good time before discovering what the problem was and eventually left without a breakfast because we had booked a trip to Brownsea Island and needed to leave on time. Due to refitting of kitchen no evening meals were available during our stay. We had been told about this in advance.

What an amazing hotel and pub/restaurant. Its on a lovely road close to the beach. The pub itself has a great large garden which we sat outside in the early evening sun having a drink. Our hotel room was stunning with a large four poster bed (great as a heavily pregnant lady taking up most of the bed space), bath inside the room, cosy little sofa and plenty of space to move around. We also had a huge bathroom with a double shower and double sink and some nice smelling toiletries. Only gutted we didn't stay 2 nights! Great breakfast bought to our room in the morning.
Nothing, everything was perfect. The manager was super friendly and was quick to sort out a drainage issue with the shower. Only thing we would say is that we couldn't get the double shower to work together so one shower was luke warm or cold whilst the other was a good temperature. No biggy, we just had to keep fiddling with the controls.

The suites are beautiful, the location is great and the pub and dining areas are lovely and very modern with a relaxed edge. the garden area is fabulous.
The menu. The food does not match the rooms. The rooms are luxury and the menu is pub. not a single salad or healthy option on the menu and limited to burgers, steak and chips and fish and chips and most things deep fried which is not to my taste.

we loved our time here. nice pub just a stroll to Sandbanks area with gorgeous properties nearby. room was so tastefully furnished. everything was spotless and it had a really classy feel. coffee machine and nice tv. bed was super comfy.
there was an issue with the electric buzzing which was annoying. the staff tried to fix it but couldn’t and there were no other room’s available to switch us to. thankfully I was able to drown it out with white noise so it didn’t affect my sleep much. staff were apologetic and offered us breakfast the following day which was lovely.

The room's snack and minibar possibilities were great, I was impressed.
We got back after midnight from a dinner out and We could not get in the door we went in originally. The side door which we should access through after 11pm was not mentioned when we arrived, and was not highlighted well on the paper, we were standing around for quite a few minutes to figure out what is going on.. and the phone was unavailable to call the reception, also the same time was noone at reception when we finally got in.

Lovely spacious rooms. Loved all the little details like the hotel paper, note to say welcome, brownies and fresh milk for teas and coffees.
The one and only thing I would change are the pillows. Both me and my partner didn’t have the best sleep due to the pillows being uncomfortable, but everyone likes different pillow types.

A fantastic place to stay, exceeded our expectations, the room was excellent (we felt we got what we paid for) it was spotless, every amenity you could need, plus the bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff were very polite and friendly, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was really good and the general atmosphere was really relaxed - perfect for what we wanted out of our stay, we will definitely be planning another get away and returning.
There isn't really anything we didn't like, we had everything we needed. There are a limited number of parking spaces but we managed to park so it's not really something we didn't like, just something to be aware of (I'm sure we could have parked on the road if we needed to which isn't a big deal for us if that had happened)

We had room 1, which is one of the most of expensive (not sure of the 'type') Bed comfort was exceptional. Size and layout of the room was excellent and very relaxing. TV was ludicrously big which I didn't use but I guess most people would really like that. We had lunch the day of arrival which was very very good, and also good value.
There was a 'twin' shower. Not just a double but two shower heads. It was impossible to balance the temperature in one shower head (the most natural for the layout), so used the one that was more likely to spill water. We did mention this to the des and they were already aware of it and thought it had been fixed. £170 and I had incorrectly thought breakfast was included. As we were up late we didn't add it to the visit. But it was only going to be £11pp.
