Very friendly ,welcoming staff. Food good and plentiful.Bed comfortable, slept very well. Interestingly old property, opposite church.

Hadn’t realised that bathroom was not en-suite,although was just next door to bedroom, so not really a bad problem. Car parking in village car park some distance away, although we were aware of this before booking.

Friendly and welcoming staff; a room with a view; a comfortable stay! It was lovely to stay in an old village pub, with a view over the churchyard. Breakfast was cooked fresh and set us up for the day. A good to explore Sedbergh from, too.

The bath room was not en-suite, but located just next to the room and was fine. No car parking at the pub, but plenty nearby, and free overnight. Despite being above a pub, there was no noise from the bar or as people left.

The room was very comfortable and the staff incredibly welcoming. Whilst our bathroom wasnt en suite it was right next door, for our use only and was huge. The evening meal we had was excellent.

The choice for breakfast was extremely limited with very little option for a vegetarian, however I didnt check this before booking and it did not spoil our visit.
