Beautiful period hotel in stunning countryside setting. Travelling with our son who has autism can be difficult but all staff were really welcoming and couldn't do enough for us throughout our stay. Special mention for Heather for email support before our visit, Simon for making us feel so welcome, Mike our evening waiter, Jack the barman and our breakfast waiter whose name we didn't catch. All really listened to our special requests for our son and made sure his needs were met. We were advised to book for our evening meal and even though it was a Thursday evening in May it was quite busy. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend

Lovely location within walking distance of Ingleton even though we couldn't see much as the clouds were right down. Fantastic pub, with great staff, genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful. We were there for a weekend celebrating my husband's birthday and had two wonderful dinners - with Yorkshire-sized portions! We are already planning a return visit, can't wait to go back.

Our room was a bit smaller than expected and the bathroom was a bit basic, but on the other hand we'd asked for our and our son's rooms to be close together, which they were. And the bed was incredibly comfortable. It won't stop us going back though!

The room was small but spotless. The bed was very comfortable. We slept very well on the first night. The staff were friendly & attentive. The food was amazing.

Not many parking spaces so we kept ending up in the very muddy part at the back & having to walk across slippy uneven ground. I have a disability so a blue badge space on the hardstanding would have been helpful. People talking loudly under our window at 11pmish for quite some time was possibly to be expected in a hotel, & our window was above the picnic tables. But being woken at 3am by people talking loudly there again was unfortunate.

Location was ideal for visiting the Lakes and Dales. Only just off the main A65 road, but very secluded and rural, within sight of Ingleborough across the fields. Bedroom was nicely furnished and very comfortable, a little outdated, but a refurb is happening soon. Dinner menu was excellent, and the breakfast superb, especially the home made Granola and Honey. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Car parking good. Next to a graveyard but I have a friend there now, so that was nice. Rumour has it that the pub is haunted but we didn't see anyone that night!! We even visited the graveyard by torchlight in the rain, but still no-one!!!

The weather!! It was the night of Storm Babet.

I was met on entrance with a big smile and on introducing myself was upgraded to 4 poster bed room. The room was lovely, bed was a bit soft for me but not a complaint more of a preference. The heating was on, which was welcoming, we sadly had prearranged dinner so could have dinner at the premises. We arranged a breakfast to go with no trouble as we were up early 6am to do the Yorkshire Peaks. In the morning as i was the support driver i was invited back for a Full English, which o took them up on. They filled my flask and i departed, if they had had 2 night avaible we would have stayed. Lovely Host, lovely staff, great breakfast

Nothing to declare other than the fact w couldn't stay for a 2nd night,

Excellent food and friendly staff. Lovely views and a good location for getting around Northwest Yorkshire and onward to the Lake District. Easy to find and no major problems with parking at the hotel.

The kitchen extractors were a quite noisy and even shook the floor quite a bit in the late evening. At one point it felt a little like being sat on top of a tumble dryer, but they were switched off not long after last service around 9.30 and the room was relatively quiet after that.

This was our second stay at this hotel after a 10 year gap, so we knew what to expect! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar is cosy and the food is great, including breakfast being cooked to order with a good selection of cereals, yoghurt etc as well. Our evening meal was really good! The bar and restaurant weren't open on the Monday, so it may be worth checking. Our room has a nice view over a church and fields. Just be aware that it is about a 20 minute walk to Ingleton village, but the entrance to the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is closer. Overall, a charming place to stay, and welcoming to "muddy boots and soggy dogs".

The hotel may need a bit of refurbishment, for example the shower was a small cubicle and there was some leakage after use. Don't expect any luxuries like lifts!

The staff were brilliant; friendly, welcoming and efficient. The location (just outside Ingleton) was quiet and very picturesque, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped.

This is an old building that looks as though it was refurbished 20 years ago. Although our room (no 12) was clean and comfortable, there were signs of water damage to the bathroom floor and obvious dry rot in one of the ceiling beams (Some of this had recently been scraped back to assess the scale of the problem, so the management was aware of the issue.)

Due to leaving before breakfast service, we were provided with a continental take away. Orange juice, porridge, croissant, pain au chocolate, jam, butter, two pieces of fruit and a cereal bar. An excellent start to the day. Staff were excellent, all very welcoming, friendly and very attentive. Somewhere we will definitely stay again. Food in the restaurant was fabulous, with a really good choice. Bedroom was roomy and very clean.

A few easy chairs in the bar area would be welcome. Nothing else to find fault with.

Breakfast was gorgeous. My husband was gluten free and they were so accommodating with the food :) We ate in the restaurant in the evening and we have never experienced such an accomodating place. As stated my husband was gluten free and the chef was amazing and will to change things around to make it work for my husband! The food was exceptional too! Our room was no, 11 with a four poster bed. Very comfy and clean. Location was stunning, beautiful to wake up to such gorgeous views.

Nothing at alll!!
